Good stuff. Finally some cooler temperatures today across the parts of the bay area. Looks like well continue with that theme over the next few days. On the fire burning south in Monterey County the fire you can sees this one sensor outside the fire zone in big sur. Where its cooler and rock more moisture out there. Humidity levels up there quite a bit. 55 degrees and 93 relative humidity. But the big factor for us locally we could have that smoke drift once again closer to the bay area. Especially south bay and the east bay as we head into your sunday forecast. For the forecast right around the fire zone itself, you can see ridges will be kept temperatures in the mid 80s and valleys will be right around 70 degrees and winds southerly around 15. And humidity levels right around 25 . So still pretty dry. But we should actually have improving conditions around the fire zone its been such a challenge because the terrain is so extreme for that part of the state. Here we go just offshore, some more low clouds and fog redeveloping out here in the pacific and we still have that on shore broncos. That wind has been keeping the coast and even bay side locations on the cool to mild side. Current numbs out there updated for the 10 00 hour we still have 70s in livermore right now. 71 so pretty warm here, san jose 65 and San Francisco 56 degrees. And if youre running the marathon, probably already sleeping right now but San Francisco starting out the day early sunday morning will be in the low 50s. Santa rosa 55. Heres the live camera looking out towards oakland and as you can see its not clear we had the low clouds already creeping back into the picture. So more low clouds to start out your sunday morning. 56 degrees 7 00 San Francisco thats what the sky cast is showing and then still some lingering of course 12 00 63. It probably wont be complete sunshine. Call it a partly sunny by 4 00 and the readings in the mid 60s. So heres the overall weather story. This area of High Pressure begins to back off as this guy moves in from the north. So were going to cool things off imland for your sunday. That means the warmest locations only in the lower 90s were not talking about extreme heat anymore. And then over the next few days into next week, inland areas will be close to 90 degrees around the bay 70s and the coast its been a constant all week long. Only in the upper 50s to the 60s. Heres the fog pattern tomorrow morning 8 00 a. M. Sunday the clouds and the coast and also over a good portion of the bay so waking up do some gray out there and then the clouds clear back to near the shoreline but a few leftover patches for parts of San Francisco. Tomorrow in gilroy temperatures not extreme heat mainly mid 80s. Forecast highs for tomorrow, fairfield at 86 and santa rosa 79. Oakland 73. Livermore checks in 90 degrees so no more triple digits. Were just thinking some lower 90s out there. San jose lower 80s and San Francisco well go 65 degrees. And look ahead your five day forecast temperatures actually fairly steady over the next few days no extreme heat. But still maybe up a little bit low 90s inland for tuesday and wednesday and thursday. Hard to believe we begin august first thing monday. So the year just continues to move along rapidly. Just flying by. All the runners and marathon runners a little bit of fog maybe . Theyre going to love it. Probably some mist or some drizzle as well to keep them refreshed.
