Human remains in planner boxes along a city sidewalk. The bones were found outside homes on mckalimester street. What shes learned from police and neighbors. Reporter police tell me that the woman had come outside in front of her home to do some gardening. They brought in some cadaver dogs to look at this area where there were planter boxes near the tree, as well as two gray stone planter boxes outside the house in front of the neighboring house next door. They say that the woman found the bones and people who live along the street say that they is just bizarre. Its pretty quiet, theres not a lot of traffic. Reporter neighbors say they couldnt believe it when investigators pulled incompetent, and started searching the soil in front of two houses on mcalister street. A bunch of tarps on the ground, theres caution tape around them all. Reporter police say a woman had found a bone on november 23 buried in some soil outside her house. It turned out to be human remains, possibly a jaw bone. They say they found part of a human. Reporter Police Brought in cadaver dogs, and they found a suspicious scent in several spots. However we didnt find any other human remains from that location. Reporter police say homicide is now investigating this case, trying to determine who this might have been, and how the remains could have been buried in this quiet neighborhood. Were looking into the age to determine the age, the sex and the length of time that this bone was buried underneath the soil. We can also compare that with our missing children, or missing adult logs. Reporter when i asked police tonight, they told me they could not say if there were other remains around the soil. Say theyre waiting test results to come back to determine if this belonged to a child or an adult. Such a bizarre case, like you said. Has this woman lived there a long time . Or does she know anything about the previous owners . Reporter were trying to get some of that information. There are neighbors who say people rent here predominantly. Certainly there is a an area, where were very close to traffic. A lot of people are wondering how they could happen. I think that probably those dna tests will bring a lot of information that can help police get some new leads. There are several new developments in the deaths of two small children whose bodies were found in a storage locker in redding. New obtained Surveillance Video shows tammy huntman, and gonzalo checking into a motel 6, huntsman and curiel were suspects. Neither child is seen in the Surveillance Video. She looked a normal person when she checked in. She had her phone on and i dont know what she was reading or whatever. Did you see how long they were going to be staying with you guys . Just the one night. We also learned social workers visited huntsmans home in selenas four times in the last year to investigate child abuse, but didnt find reason to remove the children from the home. The 9yearold girl was found starving and freezing in a locked suv. The childrens mother died two years ago. Huntsman was their guardian. She has not yet been charged of the deaths of two young children. New developments in the incident of a drone after speaking with this young man about what he says happened. Reporter 23yearold Foreign Exchange student says hes studying to be a pilot himself, and that hes sorry about the near miss with the helicopter. I feel really upset, and i feel really bad. Reporter owen showed us his drone. He says he hasnt flown if since the night it nearly collided with a chp officer. She also says shes hired an outside firm to investigate. Smith says the texts are not reflective of her department as a whole. Community leaders are calling for the guards who sent those messages to be fired. Now to San Francisco where the Police Officers union renewed its call for stun guns.
