Police say she confronted him and thats when she was shot once in the upper part of her body. We are told the bullet hit near her clavicle. She is expected to survive. After the man stole the vehicle, he reportedly drove it to this area and an abandonment. We have been here the last couple hours as police combed through the vehicle. They are looking for any evidence that could lead them to that gunman. We also overheard officers talking to neighbors here trying to see if they have any Surveillance Video that might show the gunman. But again, the latest here in san jose is you have a gunman on the lose who stole a vehicle earlier this evening around 6 30 pm, shooting that teenager who confronted him after she saw him stealing her car.
