Investigators say considering the location and the amount of debris they have to go through that it will take some time to get answers about this plane crash. Oh yes. The resident is by the house as they were able to escape without any harm. Just nerve racking to live here and know that planes are dropping on a regular basis. Reporter according to the ntsb Accident Data base in the last ten years there have been seven other accidents near the South Lake Tahoe airport. Two of them fatal. I have been told that it is a difficult area to fly, especially if youre not experienced nor if they are poor. They would show you that they would be recorded in that airport on saturday. But ntsb officials will be looking at a recording, working with their manufacture and analyzing the scene to determine the exact cause of thecrash. They are all operational and that they would like to save that environmental machine. Reporter as for the victims, the El Dorado CountySheriffs Office says that they will need records to identify them. There is a fire and that they would come to do that type of incident. The identification is a little more difficult. Reporter it will take at hes five to seven days before they would put out the preliminary examination. In the meantime that the El Dorado CountySheriffs Office will work on the identities of the two victims. A break on niles canyon road a six and a half mile stretch was shut down so they could learn more about that proposed walk and bike trail. Four minutes later officer loehmann and his partner jumped the curb. Within two seconds fired his gun twice within seven feet of rice, killing the boy. The gun turned out to be a pellet gun. The shooting resulting in a protest around the country. Now the Prosecutors Office released two expert testimony that they say in the interest of being transparent, one expert calling races death tragic and heartbreaking, but writing the threat that was reasonable as was his response to that perceived threat. The other expert a retired fbi agent saying the only facts that matter in determining if the officer acted reasonably are those he had at that time. Officer loehmann had anything to suggest that it was a real handgun. The speed at which the confrontation progressed would not give the officer time to focus on the weapon. The release would prove that they u do not want accountability.
