Baumgartner dominates the Kansas City Royals throwing a complete game shut out for the game five victory. The royals never led. Tonights game five featured the brand of baseball we come to expect from the giants. The series will now switch back to kansas city for game six on tuesday. The royals are on the ropes. Fans could not be happier. But we begin back at at t park and sports director mark ibanez and we witnessed a memorable pitching performance tonight. Just incredible as Madison Baumgartner stamps his name into the record books. Career wise 40 is the teams quest to beat standings for the first time in five years gets a huge boost. Madison baumgartner just a commander performance and a commander presence on the mound. We got a little hint of what was to come from him as he strikes out the sides 5k on the night. Crawford providing one run on a ground ball. They led 10 and another on a soft single to center. Making it 20. Crawford on the night, 3rbi. A great performance to go with a couple of hits then the giants break the game open in the bottom of the 2nd inning. And off of juan perez, two men on and hunter pence will be the second guy in. The royals didnt have a clue or a chance against them and here is some of the postgame comments from mad bum. Going back into kansas city with two games, its a whole lot better. When this guy is on, its fun to watch. I mean he was hitting the spots, had great stuff. And i just, felt like you know thats his game. His five run lead and sure, i thought about maybe taking him out but he was throwing too good. Game is not over. So i would have felt worse if i would have taken him out and something would have happened when you have a guy out there rolling the way he was. Boy, not only the complete game but he also with that should the game as the series going into game six and seven the giants bullpen is primed and ready and very well rested. 50 final, giants one win away from a World Series Championship. Reporter the mother of four was driving home with groceries when she was killed. You can see the bullet holes on the side of her car. After the shooting her husband drove the vehicle to their residence. Reporter urbina drove with her husband. I heard popping sounds so i came outside and i was able to go do some shopping and i realized the police had stopped by. Reporter richard balount recalls hearing six shots around 12 30. Im not used to hearing bullets out. But ive been hearing them since ive been here. Ive been here since noon. Reporter what caused the shots was uncleared. Some type of confrontation occurred. Reporter police say it appears to be a case of road rage but they dont have a police description. Were interviewing the family, were interviewing people who may have been out there. Reporter the family lives within blocks. Now theyre determined to catch the person responsibility. We would like to solve this crime. We have a family with four children, the youngest being a year and a half old who have lost their mother. Reporter all possibly over anger on the road. We need to learn to love each other a little bit better and be more supportive. Reporter police are asking for people to come forward if you witness the shooting. Any sort of confrontation or saw the suspect vehicle fleeing the scene. Now there is a 20,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest or tips can be made anonymously. Live in the newsroom katie utehs. Firefighters in san jose had their hands full this evening battling a two alarm fire at a motorcycle dealership. The store sells motorcycles, scooters, all terrain vehicles and motorized water crafts. The firefighters said they had to reach 1,000 feet of hose to reach the building and had to remove windows to get inside. We dont enter buildings with bars on the windows in case things go south. The bars had to be removed before we could make entrance. Reporter firefighters say as many as 70 vehicles were damaged or destroyed. Police in palo alto announce the arrest of a man wanted for domestic violence. Police say that tyer wallace sexually assaulted and battered a woman early this morning. At a home on alma street near oregon expressway. Police say he ran from the scene and was arrested later in the day. Now to marin where repair crews worked through the day to repair a broken water main that caused some traffic issues in san rafael. The break was reported at 5 00 this morning on mission avenue. It left almost a dozen homes without water and caused traffic back ups on the southbound 101 off ramp into downtown san rafael. Police there said the street reopened about 3 15 this afternoon. And tonight the San Jose Water Company announced a boil water notice affecting some 300 customers have been lifted. And tap water in that area is now safe to drink. The boil notice was issued last week after ecoli bacteria was found in the water in a seven block area of san jose near the milpitas city line. Now the Water Company has been providing bottled water and conducting tests. Today the Water Company said those tests show no presence of ecoli therefor the notice was lifted. Law enforcement officers from across the nation are sending their prayers and condolences to the families of those two Northern CaliforniaSheriff Deputies killed in the line of duty. Danny oliver and Placer County sheriff officer Michael David davis jr. Were killed in a shooting. A woman who lives in this house said that the home suffered extensive damage and smells of tear gas. The blood is on the ground. And just glass everywhere. And we can just smell the pepper smell outside the house. It hits your nose and it starts running immediately. Officials say that Monroe Bustamante was in the country illegally and had been deported twice. Police say his wife was with him at the time of the chase. 300 firefighters battled a large and extremely hot fire at an indoor Storage Facility in the venice section of l. A. A Fire Department spokesman said the blaze was fueled by storage unit filled with Flammable Materials and the buildings concrete walls and metal roofs trapped heat inside just like an oven. The investigation over the cause of the fire is expected to take several days. Prosecutors in Contra Costa County expected to sign this week and a Highway Patrol officer will face charges for forwarding pictures of a woman under arrest. They were all staying at the hotel on twin dolphin drive in redwood shores. The Hotel Manager confirms all of the people involved were staying at the hotel and were among about 400 people attending a convention there. The hotel said and its quote that it is very concerned about the well being of its guests and will work closely with officials to understand the cause. Most of the people taken to the hospital were released a few hours later. Three were admitted and treated for dehydration. Good news for all of you drivers out there. A policy shift tonight from the governor of new york on a controversial quarantine for Health Care Workers returning from west africa. Under intense pressure from the white house, Governor Cuomo announced this evening that medical workers who came into contact with ebola patients will be allowed to return to their homes for monitoring if they show no signs of disease. This announcement comes as a nurse in new jersey is taking legal action to fight her quarantine. She released a photo of the tent where shes being held outside University Hospital there in newark.
