Reporter the 17yearold is still processing it all, but firefighters call him a hero. They say a Family Member was playing in the water when two boys, cousins both got swept out by a rip current. The father of one of the teens went in to help. Thats when barbero saw a boy in the water, put him on his surfboard, and paddled in. Then he went out to the adult to help. I grab him by the arm, i dragged him in. Paramedics took it from there, and the kid is in shock. It was like, it happened so fast, i thought he was dead in the water. Reporter paramedics were abe to revive the man and get his pulse going. He was rushed to the hospital. Tony says he never saw the other teen. Tony is also the son of a fire captain. Im a little shocked, but not surprised. Tony is a good kid, and hes always trying to help others. Reporter about 50 firefighters along with the coast guard and park service searched for hours, trying to find the missing teen, 14year old marco cornejo. A lot of sea lions out there, were checking out everything. Reporter firefighters say they tried to comfort the victims family and their thoughts are with them tonight. The man rushed to the hospital was in critical condition. The coast guard has been searching a five mile span all the way up to the golden gate bridge. A 16yearold boy stabbed or slashed 20 students and a Security Officer with two kitchen knives. He was finally tackled, stopped, and arrested. Now the 16yearold suspect is being charged as an adult. Here is alex hribal being led to a police car, while handcuffed and wearing a hospital gown. He is facing four counts of attempted murder, and 21 counts of aggravated assault. The District Attorney says the teenager made comments that he wanted to die. Meanwhile, a dozen fbi agents were seen at his home, searching for any clues as to a possible motive. Lamar fox was one of two men convicted on two counts of first degree murder, and five counts of attempted murder. The Prosecutor Says fox and Clem Thompkins opened fire three years ago at sweet jimmys. They were targeting rival gang members, but missed. None of the seven victims was in a gang. He will never be able to walk her down the aisle when shes getting married. He will never be able to see her out on the track running. Officers say the suspect revved the engine, trying to free himself. Officers say his vehicle was pointed directly at a family in this cadillac. Officers say if he freed the suv, he would have barreled right into them. That vehicle would have come straight for him. Who knows what could have happened. The officers did not take immediate action. Reporter police tell me that the suspect did not have any identify on him. They dont know who he was. The officers that fired into that suv and killed the suspect are on paid leave, which is standard while the shooting is investigated. Instead of those very warm upper 80s, that we saw just a couple of days ago, were looking at mid70s, upper 70s tomorrow. So thursday, just like today. Friday, slightly cooler as this system comes to the coast, and sets the stage for the weekend with a few more clouds.
