Details about the teen gunman suspected of opening fire killing two people before turning the gun on himself. Darion aguilar was a High School Graduate who worked at donut shop, lived with his mother and had no previous record. Investigators say so far they have found no relationship between aguilar and the two young employees shot inside that skate shop but that his journal indicated he was unhappy about life. San Leandro Police say an officer shot and killed a dog yesterday after they say it charged an officer after it bit an 11yearold boy. It happened around 10 00 yesterday morning on darius way near vista grant drive. Police arrived at the scene and found the boy injured. Officers found two german shepherds in a near by yard as they tried to corral the dog, one of the them charged. The boys injuries are not serious. Its unclear what charges if any charges the owner may face. Salmon are close to extinction because of the low water. They also say that steel head trout are also at risk but that unlike salmon they could wait another year to spawn. New at 10 00, its one of the most notorious traffic bottlenecks in the bay area. The navarro narrows. The much anticipated widening of that bottleneck may take even longer than anyone expected. Reporter this is a typical day in the nevado narrows, an 18mile stretch of highway 101 between novato to petaluma. Its a grind. When i go down there its always, always backed up. Always. Reporter across the long avenue overpass this is where theres four lanes of 101. In about a mile it gets reduced to just two lanes. Traffic is already starting to hit the break lights. Its 3 30 in the afternoon and the afternoon commute has not even really begun. In the morning the problem is reversed in the southbound direction. Oh yeah, definitely changes my work schedule. Yeah im not going to sit in that traffic every day. I would go crazy. I cant do that. Its been a frustration for an awful long time. Its been the reality that everyone has lived with. The truth of the matter is if we can get two lanes all the way that would be ideal. Reporter a 1. 2 billion project to widen the freeway from novato to windsor is along the way. The pavement on the new third lane in the novato narrows. Were very confident that in a reasonable amount of time we can get the asphalt to get us that fourth lane. Reporter measure m money county residents voted for to pay for the project is running dry. County officials are searching for state and federal funds and was surprised last year when the state kicked in an unexpected 70 million more dollars. We were shovel ready to go. And that money is being invested into the petaluma bridge. Pretty complicated project. Reporter if the money come it is widening could be complete within two years. But if it doesnt, drivers may see nothing but a dirt lane until 2020. That is how its going to be. Its going to frustrate people no doubt. Reporter david ravid says there may be enough funds to widen a 41 2 mile stretch right in the middle of the bottleneck. The system approaches and this will translate into rain in the area. Finally a change in the weather pattern. This is not a major deal. We definitely want the more heavier rainfall but thats not going to be the case. Thursday morning that line could be spreading to the south and more snow in the sierra by that time frame.
