Was that wind or was that a kapow . That was the volcano erupting. The camera keeps rolling, and you start to see that smoke, that ash just rising through to the atmosphere. Just reminds you that the earth is alive. Its crazy. Who wouldnt to be there . Who wouldnt want to experience that power . This is close proximity to the volcano and lava and ash blowing. At the end they decide it might be too close for comfort. I think its time to wrap it up. This is one of the most active voluntarily contain wroes on the planet. It has been active pretty consistently since 1933. Thats awesome. Another example of a mother duck beating the odds to protect her young. We go down a bush camp in the masamara marshall camp. You see a mother giraffe with a days old baby giraffe. Shes protecting that baby giraffe really close by, right . Has that baby giraffe between her two front legs because what do you see in the bush camp . A lion in the bush. No, no, no. Not just one. An entire pride of lions about to surround this mother and her young. Look at this. I can count one, two, three, four, five, six, seven lions. This video is captured by bill and barbara westbrook. The poor baby has just learned to walk. Watch what this mother does as these lions kind of just slowly creep forward right here. Faceoff time. She looks right at them, makes one little move there, and then watch this right here. Stomps her foot, and then right there. A little fake charge. Thats all she needed to do. Thats all it took to get those lions kind of in retreat mode. Its kind of like a human version of going up to somebody and going like scaring off the enemy while protecting her child perfectly. You might be thinking, hey, this might be going both ways. The lions could be thinking we dont want our young to get a boot to the head from an adult giraffe. Maybe protecting her young as well.
