Imagine manhattan, all those buildings start to rumble and quake and peel off and just fall over and fall over and roll around. These pieces of glacier, theyre 300 feet tall. This piece of ice thats coming out of the water comes out and is 600 feet tall. How do they know to be there . They were in this area for quite some time before this actually happened. When this trailer picks up you hear the guy behind the camera calling james saying its going well. We had serious bouts of wind but other than that things are fairly well set up here. They think what happened is its tail fin might have got caught up with a big oceanic vessel and it drifted from the antaric. It met up wh thought i hooked something strong and couldnt get it unhokds. He asked two other boats to tow him back to shore. When they got to shallow waters they saw the whale. They believe the whale was dead and drifted. The whale was still alive. Once it got to shore it passed away. Oh. That is just huge. They think this thing is 45 to 46 feet long and weighs 24,000 pounds. It may be a rare blue whale. Theyve taken dna samples to verify. At this point theyre calling it a say whale. Heartbreaking image to see. To think of this massive regal creature on the shore with all these people crowding around it as if its a circus show. But the people didnt kill the whale and may be the one opportunity for them to see an animal this big up close and personal their entire lives. I cant fault them for going out there to see it.
