New at noon, a gilroy man is under arrest has been arrested for the crash that killed all four passengers in his car. 23yearold Anthony James iii was arrested at his home in gilroy. He faces four felony counts of the vehicular manslaughter and felony drunk driving. The crash happened on may 23rd earlier this month on leasely road when says he failed to turn right at the curb. He was the only survivor. His passengers were all killed. Joseph vaz yez as well as three 18yearolds Sara Williams and two others, hes being held on 250,000 bail. Police on the peninsula chased a stolen dump truck until it crashed. That shut down a busy intersection in daly city. The truck hit a minivan making a turn at san jose avenue. Four people were hurt. The road is reopened now. But look at the dump truck. The crash still spilled fuel on the road. It all started at midnight at the costco in colma. An officer observed the vehicle coming in to the residential area and found it suspicious being it was late at night, ran the license plate and discovered the vehicle was stolen. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle at which point allegedly the vehicle attempted to ram the patrol vehicle and a pursuit ensued. The suspect who was driving the stolen dump truck could face several criminal charges including assault with a Deadly Weapon against an officer, possession of a stolen vehicle and evading an officer. Four teens suspected of assaulting two people overnight were captured by police this morning. Authorities say they started punching random people walking dune the street. Janine de la vega has more. Reporter this is really unsettling for the people who live here in this North San Jose neighborhood. This is near morill avenue and croply. Its not a highcrime area. Two pedestrians were viciously attacked. Police took four males into custody. K9s found three hiding in a backyard of one. Homes in the neighborhood. The police dogs ended up biting two of the suspects who refused to be taken into custody. Police say the suspects are responsible for punching a woman in the stomach last night in the area of piedmont road and sierra as she was walking. 15 minutes later down the street, an elderly man was attacked. Both reported the suspects were four young males wearing dark clothing. He was punched in the backest head by one of the suspects. As he fell, the other suspects assaulted him. His wallet was removed from his person. The suspects went through his wallet and threw the items from the wallet down to the ground. As the victim was picking up the items, was assaulted then i up the items, he was assaulted again. Reporter authorities tell us two suspects confessed to committing the assaults. The suspects are being booked for resisting arrest, robbery and assault. Police are checking in with neighboring cities to see if these suspects are linked to any ail salt cases there. San Francisco Police need your help to find the person who attacked an elderly woman on mothers day in china town. The victim, a 77yearold grandmother is now in a coma. Her family worries she will never wake up. She was getting off a bus ten days ago when attacked by another woman. She was not robbed but badly beaten. A Good Samaritan later helped her to the curb and she was able to make it home. But three days after the attack, she lost consciousness. The key is we need to speak to the good marry on that Good Samaritan that helped her off the bus because he might have witnessled the entire witnessed the entire incident or if there are any other witnesses on the bus that could help narrow down the search. This is a very severe assault and damage and injury. She doesnt deserve that. And not only that, she suffer. Complicating matters, is that police do not know which bus she was taken.
