The 3. 2 earthquake struck about 1 18 p. M. Southeast of santa rosa. The usgs reports it came from the rogers creek fault. A quiet fault that hasnt seen a moderate quake since 1969. No reports of injuries or damage though some callers described the shaking as strong. Police say a man fired at offenses. Investigators say two at officers. Investigators say two officers responded to shots fire in san francisco. The officers say the suspect spotted them and opened fire. The officer returned fire. No one was hit. Later in the morning Ivan Dejesus Gomez was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of attempted murder. Two men hospitalized after they were shot outside a san jose bar. This happened about 12 30 a. M. When officers arrived they found two men suffering from gun shot wounds. They are in critical condition. It appears a disturbance happened inside the bar and it trickled outside. Investigators collected evidence and talked with witnesses. They are trying to access Surveillance Video to see if it offers clues. No arrests have been made. Firefighters put out a fire this afternoon at an Apartment Building in san jose. The fire was reported about 1 15 p. M. Today on north third street. It took firefighter said half hour to stand up and stretch its wings inside the closure. I drew from her strength and her heroism to fight along side with her and to she was my Little Wonder girl. In order a fight along her full time her mother has been forced to close her bridle shop. This caught the attention of trisha, a paragrapher involved in the bat kid. I said, oh, we have to come together and continue had fight. Reporter she organized a super hero themed fundraiser in hopes of raising money and awareness of childhood leukemia. Super heroes descended to help. Among them valerie who lost a friend to childhood leukemia. I know the struggle she is up against. Needs be done.
