Chp officers found their bodies yesterday after responding to what they thought was a single car crash. The car had hit a tree. During the autopsy the coroner discovered both men had sustained traumatic injuries that are not consistent with a traffic accident. A man rammed a large vehicle into a television station near baltimore then barricaded himself inside the building for hours. A s. W. A. T. Team swarmed the station amidst concerns the man was armed. After a five hour stand off, police say they arrested him without further indent. Investigators say he used a stolen truck to crash into the stations lobby. Less than an hour ago the San Jose City Council Approved a rate hike for its garbage collection services. This afternoon they touched down here at Oakland Airport to cheers and some tears. Wives and husbands, children and parents waited in the terminal at Oakland Airport until waiting seemed almost impossible. Im very anxious, excited, nervous, everything. Reporter she made a sign for her husband. This 6yearold girl just wanted to see her daddy. Im going to give him a big hug. Reporter then they arrived. The proximate 90 soldiers for the Army National guard unit based in vallejo returned home from afghanistan. Excited, overwhelmed. Reporter the unit was spread all over afghanistan. Their mission was to decide what military equipment should be shipped home and what should be destroyed. But for these soldiers that job is done now. And that 6yearold girl finally got her daddy back. Its, the best feeling. I took a about a year off from my life. Now theyre all here. And its amazing. Reporter this sergeant from pittsburg got to meet his son. He was born two days before i left so i never got a chance to see him. This is my first time of getting a chance to see him. The soldiers say the first order of business once they got home is to get reacquainted with family. Its really unwind and relax.
