A captain with the Coroners Office says they completed the autopsy on monday but theyre still conducting additional testing including toxicology. While Police Reported that kaylee was found beaten to death determining an official cause of death is critical here if child abuse was a factor. Child Welfare Services could release more information on whether caseworkers had any contact with kaylee or her family before she was killed. The driver remained on the scene and were told is cooperating with police. It happened last summer during pride weekend in San Francisco. Chris Porter Bailey of oakland is accused of robbing a 28year old woman and then kicking her in the face and knocking her unconscious. A construction worker in San Francisco was sent to the hospital this morning after being truck by a crane nooking him 20 feet too the ground. The accident happened on 555 howard. In fact, dmv investigators tell me they are even easier to roll back than the older ones and its happening more here in california than any where else. Keith lechner thought he found a good deal. He drove from livermore to modesto to buy this 1990 Toyota Pickup for 2,600. It shifted smoothly, it ran great, idled great. Reporter he didnt think much of his odometer until his engine blue. The first thing that goes through your mind is im in the middle of a highway and my car is not rolling. Reporter a check of his car report shows that the odometer has been rolled back. His truck was one of 295,000 rolled back vehicles on the road in california last year. The most of any state. We recovered over 50 odometers from the two cases. Reporter the dmv busted these three men for selling more than 200 cars with roll back odometers moving vehicles between the bay area and the Central Valley to try to cover their tracks. By the their own records we found they profited more than 200,000 before the focus was on them. Reporter most of their business took place on craigslist.
