Police confirmed what we heard earlier today from students it was another student who stopped the attack from getting worse. A worker was cleaning up the crime scene in the classroom. A student attached a male teacher before a fellow student broke up the attack. The school went into lock down with 1100 students while police searched the campus. One student saw the teacher moments after the attack. By the time i got there there was the principal and everyone. The search continued for a suspect. We did want know if there was somebody on campus still. We notified the school and we recommended they lock the school down. Reporter police found a person that they are calling a person of interest but not yet ready to call him a suspect and they dont have an age. The teacher was taken to the hospital and that she expected to he is expected to recover. Ken wayne, ktvu channel 2 news. San Francisco Police didnt have to go far to arrest a stack suspect this afternoon. It happened about 4 00 p. M. Across from the hall of justice and police headquarters. Police say the suspect ran across the street towards the Police Building and dropped the knife on the steps when a Police Officer arrested him. Later an ambulance came for a victim. There was also a second victim. No details on a motive. Police arrested two juveniles in connection with a shooting death of a 17yearold boy at centennial park. It happened monday afternoon near the baseball field. Authorities havent released the name of the victim. The suspects are 16 and 17 but authorities are with holding their names because they are juveniles. Investigators say they were arrested yesterday. University of california hospital employees walked off the job as part of a one day strike at Uc Medical Centers in los angeles, davis, irvine and san diego.
