Reporter we learned this train was going faster than estimated which was 50 but the ntsb investigators say it was between 6070 Miles Per Hour when the train struck the two people on the tracks. The investigator also said the operator at the time knew the people were there and southbounded an and sounded an air horn. They took all die interview the driver day to interview the people involved, on board were two trainers and a treney and three people to trainee and three people to trouble shoot. There were six employees on the train at the time of the accident. We have begun to examine the train equipment training equipment. Reporter the ntsb investigator did confirm the train operator was going through a Training Exercise when the accident happened.
