Tastes decent but the this is missing. Is missing the pop elements. It feels overly long and does drag a little at times. I give it three out of five. One of the biggest highlights is james horner at this fantastic score. He passed away tragically last june in a plane crash but he written seven or eight of the themes and gave them to Antoine Fuqua and those songs now exist in the movie. Even dentals famous incredible. Its shot beautifully on 35 mm film and looks great. I wish the film itself was as good as the cast in the film making and the score writing. The movie was missing some this. Last night there was a turnout for her week in San Francisco. She never held Political Office but was widely regarded for her political clout. Its expected to be a very hot weekend and that has firefighters talking about fire danger. Cal fire has extra crews on hand this weekend and they are warning homeowners to make sure to have a dispense Defensible Space around your property. We begin with a developing story up north, the pacific northwest. There have been several developments overnight in a fatal mall shooting in Washington State. There is a News Conference expected soon. Early this Morning Police announced that a fifth victim, a man, has died from his injuries. Manhunt continues at this hour for this man, the shooter. Authorities describe him as a latino male wearing a black shirt and armed with a rifle. Witnesses say the shooter walked into macys at the cascade mall in burlington, washington. One hour north of seattle. He opened fire. Burlington, 60 miles north of seattle. A shopper said she was in the dressing room when she heard what sounded like four balloons popping. And 7 or 8 four. Then it got quite. People have been posting pictures on social media of the mall. The gunman shot and killed four women in the Makeup Department of that store. One man was also shot he was airlifted to a seattle Trauma Center where he died this morning. Investigators say the gunman left the mall, heading toward interstate 5 9. We are still actively looking for the shooter. Again, we caution people to stay indoors. Say stay secure. If you see something, say something. That is the gunman and right now they are holding a News Conference up in washington we will take it live and listen in and find out whats going on. Thank you for being here. We will also hear from our county coroner. She will give you an update on the process of a victim identification and how we release that information to the families and to the public. I was Incident Commander through this event. On behalf of all Law Enforcement, Fire Department and support agencies that have responded, i wish to extend our sincere condolences to the families of the victims of this senseless tragedy. At about 7 pm last night come officers were dispatched to an active shooter inside the macys store at the cascade mall. Inside the Burlington City limits. Officers from over 26 agencies responded to macys. We had upwards of 200 officers on scene at one time. The initial officers that arrived on scene, entered macys where they located four deceased females and a fifth male was transported by helicopter to seattle hospital. As officers arrived on scene last night, they were put into hasty search teams and responded inside the mall. Teams were anywhere from 35 officers. We had officers from four counties including three separate tactical teams. We had support teams. We had northwest Incident Team as well as many agencies i cant start to tell you that were there last night. Through this event the support made our officers response to this a little easier. This was a long, drawn out process last night. The mall is over 400,000 square feet. Our officers, upon arrival humann helped escort the individuals that were employees or shoppers in the store outside. As they proceeded to search the entire mall, they located numerous employees and shoppers that had sheltered in place inside of individual businesses and they were escorted out the building of well as well. All our victims, witnesses, that were present at the time of the shooting were located and transported to a local church where they were reunited with family members. At this time we have learned that the suspect had already fled the mall prior to officer arrival. We did not know that throughout the search process. The dedicated officers immediately responded. We had officers respond who were not call. They came from as far away as a different part of Snohomish County and maybe officers from king county but definitely i lane county, walked in county as well as many federal agencies. All of these officers immediately reported for duty and join teens. Joined teams. The multiagency Response Team, smart, has taken charge of this investigation at this time. They are processing the macys store with the assistance of the Washington State patrol crime lab. As far as the individual elements of this investigation i will let the lieutenant address those with you. Thank you. Good morning. My name is chris. Im a lieutenant with the melbourne Police Department and im currently the commander of the smart Response Team. A little background on the team. Its comprised of about 25 investigators from Skagit County as well as the Washington State patrol our primary role is typically when serious injury or death involves a situation involving a Law Enforcement officer, however in these situations when an agency experiences a criminal event where the magnitude of the event exceeds the resources available, the agency can activate smart. In this case arlington Police Department activated smart. Our primary role is the investigative component of this scene. As the assistant chief gestated. The first few hours that we were on the scene were primarily in a mode waiting for the entire mall to be cleared. It took several hundred to do that, going through, clearing every room and every note and crannies to make sure that the suspect was not still on scene. What we know right now from security footage that we have recovered is that the suspect entered the mall without a weapon. About 10 minutes later, entered macys with a rifle. Fired multiple times. Struck, again, four females ranging in age from a teenager to a senior. Also a male was struck. All for women were mortally wounded. Currently our roll out there and what were working on is basically reconstructing the entire scene. And what that involves is photographing, video, forensic scanning, evidence collection including latent prints, dna, and anything we can do to put the scene back together. We also have a team of detectives that are pursuing tips and leaves that are coming in and i believe either after or during this conference we will be providing you some screen captures from the security footage that we recovered with the best available shots of the suspect that we could recover at this time. So you will be getting that. We are hoping what that will do is open up more leaves and tips from the community so we can apprehend this individual. Thank you. Youve been listening led to a press conference out of Washington State. Were getting the latest information from the Washington State mall shooting. Some of the information they just came across. They said they have the Surveillance Video that shows him coming into the mall without a weapon but 10 minutes later he walked into macys with a rifle. He then started shooting the victims ranging in ages from teenager through seniors. Four females one male. Over 200 officers were on the scene from four different counties. 26 different agencies. We mentioned four dead, one male passed away. The big thing was, the mall is big. Its 400,000 square feet. They did not know that he had left. They had to go from store to store. A lot of people were sheltering in place obviously because of an ongoing shooter. It took a long time to get those people out and say. Now they have the smart team working on this. They are compiling a better pictures. We showed you some pictures earlier, the surveillance photos of the gunman who was still on the loose. What they are trying to do is get better prices heckscher so we can put them out. When we get those there it is. Its a little blurry. We cannot see very clear facial features. They are working now to get more and better pictures to disseminate to the public. And hopefully get a composite of him out so they can capture the sky. Michelangelo lopez and Richard Lopez were arrested both on wednesday after East San Jose home. Please send them in targeted immigrants in 13 different armed robberies in the city. Several victims reported being beaten and pistolwhipped before being robbed. Detectives believe there could be more victims out there and are looking for any additional information. Airport officials in san jose have been awarded 2 federal grants totaling more than 15 million. 8 million of that money is for upgrades to the perimeter Security System including new Surveillance Technology. The rest will pay for asphalt to fix a parking area for aircrafts on the Southeast Side of the airfield. The airport said the grants make possible that the faa and through support. A funeral begins in 90 minutes from now for longtime San Francisco community activist, rose pak , who died last sunday. She cared a lot about the city. A steady stream of people paying respects at last night weight. Pak was born in china and moved to San Francisco in 1967. She later became a reporter for the chronicle. She became a Political Force in the Chinatown Community, help raising money for political causes and preferred candidates. I fall with her. She was charming on one hand, she was a pain in the butt on the other. She held us all accountable and i grew to love her. She was her own one. She died last sunday of Natural Causes. She was 68. A public funeral begins at 10 00 this morning at the old Saint Marys Church california street. Close friends and former tampa San Francisco mayor, willie brown, will deliver the eulogy. And oakland Police Officer pled not guilty to charges in connection with a sex scandal. Officer brian button changes charges of engaging in prostitution and obstruction of justice. She is accused of warning celeste guap who now goes by her birth name, jasmine abuslin, of a police prostitution sting in exchange for sex. He is the first of seven officers from various agencies to be arraigned in this case. He is 40 years old, married with children. His attorney calls him a family man who just completed 2 years with the Oakland Police Department Thursday night. I dont want to talk about his family are other points right now. Jasmyne did not work for the city of oakland. The city of richmond an ounce it is trying to fire one of its Police Officers in the disciplining eight others. None of the richmond officers are facing any criminal charges right now. Start the city of oakland formally opens the application period for hiring a new police chief. It is a 45 day window and comes after a month of community meetings. The mayor said oakland is looking for a compassionate, reform minded leader. Oakland has had three chiefs resign this year. City administrators have been a running the Department Since june. Parents of a man accused of stealing and crashing a Hayward Police car they their son was suffering from a mental breakdown this week. The family of jeffery chambers said he was acting erratically thursday, obsessing about his ninemonthold daughter. Chambers left the family home. When Police Arrived to investigate the accident they say chambers, who was being treated by the paramedics at the time, got away and stole an idling police suv. Investigators say he reached speeds of over 100 before crashing into three cars east of the san mateo bridge toll plaza. He just needs help. Thats all i can say. He needs help. Chambers parents say they bailed him out of jail and will take him into a mentalhealth facility. Hayward Police Officers had a car stolen back in may. The department is considering outfitting its fleet of more than 50 vehicles with the new antitheft technology. After snubbing donald trump at the convention, ted cruz has decided to endorse him. Every time accosting comes out he sees the door open and he runs right for it. Tell us about how these picture started. The first time i took a bad picture of him was on her way from the rescue. We were giving him a bath because he was in that panel for a long time. I turned around to get some soap to put in him on him at the bath tube and he is just teasing for the camera. From the very first picture i have taken of him, on everyone he has a huge grin on his face. You also have more pets. Not just meaty. He stole the show. They are your fur babies. Tell us about noling meaty and what people dont know about him. I fell in love with him the first time i met him. Mostly its because of the smile but he is like this all the time. Except when he sleeps. He snores very lumpy snores very loud. He does not sleep in the same room with us because of that. Were you into rescuing dogs before meaty . It comes with the marriage. She got me and meaty the same weekend. I adopted meaty 2 days before we went on our first date. And you said if you like me, guess what. On our subsequent dates, metv would just lay down on walks. He would not go anywhere. Joe would have to pick them up and carry him home because he would not walk anywhere. Lets talk about his message. You rescued him from the fresno bowl and rescue. In less than an hour more than 1000 people are expected to pay respects to rose pak. She was a longtime activist in the Chinese Community and in San Francisco. She died last sunday. Last night there was a turnout for her weight. She never held Political Office and was widely regarded for her political clout that she held for more than three decades. In 15 minutes we will talk to a cardiologist that is in the bay area this weekend helping a san jose woman promote heart health after a lifechanging event. First, lets go to rosemary. They were detailing last night attack at the Shopping Mall attack in Washington State. We showed you part of that News Conference at the top of last hour. We have developing news overnight that the fifth person died early this morning from his injuries. Investigators say they are going to release more images today of the suspect. The one youre looking at on your screen was the first image that was released to the media last night. Authorities describe the gunman as a latino male with a thin build. He was wearing a black shirt. He was also armed with a rifle. Witnesses say the shooter walked into the macys at the cascade mall in burlington, washington, and opened fire. Burlington is 60 miles north of seattle. People posted pictures on social media of what the mall lookalike afterwards. Some of the information we got from the News Conference this morning was that the gunman came in without a gun, without a weapon that they could see on Surveillance Video but 10 minutes after he walked in went to the macys with a rifle in his hand and killed four women in the Makeup Department of the store. And then a male victim was also shot. He was airlifted to the seattle Trauma Center where it was announced that he died. In this mornings news,s officials said the victim ranged in age from teenagers through seniors. Crime scene technicians are looking for evidence. They are calling this a long and arduous process. The mall is more than 400,000 square feet we have no indication this is a terrorism act at this point in time. What makes you say that . There isnt evidence to point to it at this point in time. Can you discount that . I cannot discount it. But i cant included either. Were still in the very preliminary stages of the investigation. What they will say at this point is that they do believe the shooting was committed by a lone gunmen. Right now as you can imagine, they have been looking at small security footage but still do not have an identification. Investigators say Surveillance Footage showed him walking into the mall without a rifle. 10 minutes later he was in the store with a rifle in his hand. They are trying to figure out where he got it or where it may have been hidden. We continue our coverage on the situation in charlotte, north carolina. All is quiet this morning after a fourth night of protests over the Deadly Police shooting of keith scott. Last night protest was mostly peaceful. Demonstrators carried signs chanting and marching through charlottes business district. Protesters were demonstrating against tuesdays Police Shooting that killed keith scott. They want police to release dashcam and body camera video of that shooting. The wife of keith scott has released her own a cellphone video of the moments leading up to the shooting. The actual shooting cannot be seen but you can hear the shots. Drop the gun he doesnt have a gun. He has a tbi. Is not going to do anything to you guys. He just took his medicine. Funeral services will be held for the oklahoma man that was shot and killed by a Tulsa Police Officer. Officer betty shelby has been charged with firstdegree manslaughter for shooting and killing Terence Crutcher last week. Shelbys attorney said she drew her gun is that of her taser because she thought a was armed but no weapon was found at the scene. The state medical Examiners Office in oklahomas declared righteous death a homicide. Shall be turned herself into Police Yesterday morning and was released on 50,000 bond. If convicted she could face at least four digit years in prison. A funeral begins in less than an hour for a long time San Francisco community activist, rose pak. She died last sunday. She cared a lot about the city. She cared a lot about people and she particularly cared about chinatown. And she was most effective at doing everything that she did on behalf of so many people in the most unselfish way. A steady stream of people paid respects last night. She was born in china and moved to San Francisco in 1967. She later became a reporter for the chronicle. She became a Political Force in the Chinatown Community and the Chinese Community, helping raise money for local causes and preferred candidates. I fought with her.
