There are a lot of locals taking part but also participants from all over the state and the country. I spoke with a Half Marathon runner and said this is her seventh she has done. I havent ran through a town yet. The ones i have done are the bay area and scenic routes. It will be fun to run through a city. And get a tour and see what i can. People area, piedmont, it is very pretty and you have a nice view of the bay submit makes it a nice marathon. Here is a map of the race not route. It takes runners through a variety of oakland neighborhoods. A lot of different runners in the downtown area. They will have to deal with some road closures. At the starting line we heard over the announcer saying we are a minute away from the start of this. 30 seconds he just said. You can hear the music picking up and runners are anxiously waiting to start. They are jogging in place. Keeping themselves warm and getting ready for the start of this marathon. The crowd is getting excited as we wait for the start. The oakland raider cheerleaders are here to get the crowd going. People are lined up along the barricade. Come out to cheer on with friends and family. There they go. There it goes. They have a ways to go. Thousands of people out there. In years past this is one of the best runs in a country. They have interesting advance out there and things on the way like when you they had a race cloud. They have a variety of musical acts and live bands. Stuff that will showcase the local culture of the different neighborhoods that people will be going through. An Early Morning fire in san jose left for two people without a place to sleep. Firefighters received a call this morning about flames coming from a backyard of a home on Mount Mckinley drive. When fire crews arrived they saw a shed engulfed in flames and the sides of better homes on fire. It took firefighters it half an hour to bring it under control. No one was hurt but the red cross went to the scene to offer assistance. Contra costa sheriff is releasing the name of a child molester deputy shot and killed thursday. This event it gets recognized every year because of the spirit of Oakland Raiders. Our town shows up for these runners and they are so proud because this race goes through so many diverse neighborhoods showing off incredible diversity of oakland. Everything from the beautiful downtown to the hills and running down lincoln with the view of the bay and went through the fruitvale with mariotti band and the flaming arches of west oakland. It is an incredible run and oaklanders love welcoming visitors. People from 30 different states and 10 Different Countries we love showing off our town. Talk about what makes this event different from other scenic runs in San Francisco. The runners said he gives you a tour of the area. Each of the neighborhoods has a little thing they showcase like dancers and drummers in atlanta college. They have something in oakland. It is a time to showcase diversity. This is the seventh annual running festival and oakland residents have not gotten tired or stopped showing up to two people on and we are also painful about the Community Impact that this festival has. 1. 7 million has been contributed to Community Serving organizations like youve uprising and the Public Education fund. Asian health services. A few of the organizations that have benefited from contributions from this run. That is aside from the direct Economic Impact. It is without estimation because we know that hotel still up and restaurants are overflowing. People love this. It is so great. It is a National Trend where we are seeing more visitors to our city every year. We are hoping people call oakland home because they enjoy the gorgeous weather and the beautiful downtown and the great neighborhoods. Most importantly the friendly people. Oakland is having an affordability crisis and as someone who was born and raised in the city and have been madly in love with the city my whole life i am committed to keeping Oakland Oakland and to make sure that long time and vulnerable residents are not pushed out. By this booming economy. We are trying to bring down the cost of housing by putting in better protections for the people who live here as well as building more units because we cant keep up before moving here. We have to build new housing so they dont shop at people who are here. Two weeks ago i made a plan for protecting 17 made a plan for protecting 17,000 existing households and building 17,000 new housing units. The second half of that equation is making sure that oaklanders see an increase in their income so that they can afford to stay here. Oakland 55. 50 in livermore. 54 san jose. The relatively mild out there with the cloud cover. Here is a look at where the rain is. To the north of us that you can see a little bit of light shower activity beginning to enter the bay on the coastline. In santa rosa we have sprinkles reported. Not hitting the ground yet but eventually it will as we move through the second part of the morning and the afternoon, it moves into the north bay. For the afternoon begins to slide south. The next 24 hours looks like this. 10th of an inch and maybe less than that for some areas over portions of the south bay and more through livermore. You get into the north bay, to 10 7 inch. This will be the first wave that moves through. A second one will have what weather for monday. I will have a look at the afternoon high when i come back. In the news, part is urging patients. Brace for more delays because of the electrical issue that knocked cars out of service. I want to spread health, happiness and hope for people who have cancer right now. I want to thank my parents and my family and brother. My community and the open community and also my school. They have been really supported of me running. I had cancer when i was in kindergarten and i was still in school and i did miss a lot of school. They helped me feel comfortable. For you always a runner . Did you pick this up and decide to do this after you recovered . After i recovered. In third grade. Would you love it about this . I ran this event 5k multiple times. A group of thousand people is working so we have 15,000 people in the park. We have the control room over there and that is where the truck and director is sitting. There are audio tracks and of course the trailers and the cast. Here are the tents with a prepare before they have to go on stage. The shows creator hopes the story inspires viewers. It is not gone completely but doesnt provide a lot. Monday morning we will start out dry and here comes wave never to buy 9 00. It shifts and we have scattered showers in the forecast. Experts from russia, the arab emirates, france and the us are examining the black boxes from the flydubai flight that crashed in russia. Mourners are bringing flowers, and candles to the airport where the boeing 737 crashed. Officials say many planes have had trouble trying to land at the airport because of high winds. Police are investigating three separate shootings, one of which was deadly. Officers responded to gunfire at 14th and harrison streets. The male victim was reported dead at the scene. This is oaklands eighth homicide of the year. The tribune was told that there were two other shootings in the city last night. One wounded a 17yearold boy and the other injured a 17year old man and a 18yearold man and a 52yearold. Crews are advising people to stay out of the area around College Avenue between north street and monroe because of a water main break. Someone called 911 at 2 00 saying hundreds of gallons of water were flowing out into the street there. City says the street will remain closed until noon. In san jose, an Early Morning fire left 14 people without a place to sleep. Firefighters received the call at 2 00 in the morning about flames coming from a home near 280. When fire crews arrived, they saw two homes on fire. It took firefighters about half an hour to bring everything there under control. Fortunately no one was hurt. The red cross later went to the scene to offer assistance. This morning the Contra Costa Sheriffs Department is releasing the name of the suspected child molesters that police shot and killed. Mallot was facing charges of child molestation. Police fire smoke bombs into the home and then he came out of the window and aimed guns at deputies before they had to shoot can and him. People are honoring a chp officer killed in the line of duty one week ago today. Nathan taylors family is inviting the public to a viewing. Family and friends describe officer taylor as a caring and selfless man. His fourth grade teacher said he was considerate and thoughtful from a young age. When i was pregnant and having my daughter, after she was born, nathan, only in 4th or 5th grade at that time, hand sewed a teddy bear for my daughter and gave it to me. Officer taylor is survived by his wife and three young sons. The chp is holding a larger Memorial Service for him on tuesday in roseville. He was a man on a mission. He left delaware on foot last year, pushing a Freedom Flyer and an american flag. It was all in the name of raising awareness about post Traumatic Stress disorder on his crosscountry trip. Weldon said every day 22 veterans take their lives because of ptsd. It became his mission to do something about letting america know. He received lots of support during his walk but nothing was better than seeing his mother at San Franciscos ocean beach yesterday afternoon. I have done it, yall. [cheering and applause] thank you. Thank you. Yes, that was his mom in the purple there welcoming him with open arms and tears. He says the walk is done but his work wont be finished until the number of veteran suicides because of ptsd drops to zero per day. The teams reached the highest level of scout the teens reached the highest level of scouting and became eagle scouts. At 3 00 today at the Baptist Church in oakland, they will old an event celebrating the big achievements. Two surfers are safe this morning after the coast guard pulled them to safety. It happened off of gray whale beach. The coast guard Helicopter Air lifted one surfer directly to stanford Medical Center. The other was transferred to the Medical Center. Both are expected to be okay. The Water District will have 800,000 to improve fish habitat in streams that run near the coast. District Officials Say most of the money will be used to build large log structures which will salmon and trout shelter during the winter. Both species are endangered. 100,000 will be used to monitor fish living between the Russian River and the golden gate. Now, further north, waterman engineers in yuba county are releasing water from a reservoir that benefited from our recent storms. Thats at 119 of average for this time of year. Water officials need to make room for the water that is expected from the snow melt later this spring. They have opened up the spill gates and that gives us that sight of the water pouring down the river. That could mean a full lake for people to enjoy this summer. A good sight to see. The 7th annual oakland running festival. The event is one of the top races in the country. Well, 19th and harrison next to snow park in downtown oakland is a hub of activity this morning. This is the starting and the finish line for the oakland running festival. There are 10,000 people taking part in this. There is a marathon and a Half Marathon. Theres a 5k relay, a kids fun run. Most of the people here are wrapping up the 5k that started at 7 30 this morning. This is the 7th year they have held the oakland running festival. It takes the runners through a variety of local neighborhoods. Locals come out and cheer on the runners. There are participants from 30 different states, and ten Different Countries. We spoke with a runner from south dakota this morning and she said this is her 7th Half Marathon. She tells us what is unique about this particular race. I havent ran one through a town yet. The ones were in the bay area and. Scenic routes. Yes. Here is a map of the race routes. You can see it definitely takes runners through a variety of different neighborhoods, starting with the downtown area, west oakland, rock ridge, montclair, back through kirksville and back here to downtown oakland. So keep in mind if you live in the area, you might notice road closures in effect because of this. But the oakland running festival, 7th year for the event. We will be here all morning. We took a selfie. There it is. Look all the cute girls. They have been serving the girls in alameda since 1954. They empower them with curriculum. Women are celebrated for being strong, smart and bold and powerful role models. It was a lot of fun. I have to tell you when i walked in the door there, the little girls you saw in that selfie, they said oh my gosh we watched the news yesterday and we saw you guys trying to do the chicken dance. I think we have a little video from the time when we were trying to do it. Theres the chicken. And we were look on the side there. Rosemary and i i cant believe were replaying this. Rosemary and i rosemary nailed it. Twisted your arm to try to do that, right . We were doing that and then these girls said, you know what, you guys were terrible. We were terrible. Look at them. Unfortunately it doesnt look like a lot. But it is definitely enough to get the ground wet. Over portions of the north bay, thats where were going to see most of the rain. Anywhere from a quarter inch to half an inch for our wetter spots. The coastal ridge could pick up an inch or so and farther to the north. Today, we have the north bay rain moving in really as i speak. But its going to take a little while. It will become more widespread. As it moves into the central and sat bay, its going to fizzle out and fall apart. For the rest of us, scattered showers in the forecast. Monday, the colder part moves in. Maybe a few thunderstorms into the afternoon. This part of the system looks like it will be a little stronger. Again, this will come on monday. So lets take a look at what is going on right now. We will time it out for you here. You can see we are seeing an increase in the Rain Coverage as we get into the north bay. This has been going on for the last couple of hours. Creeping and creeping closer. You get farther north into cloverdale, maybe a steady light rain falling over you as well. We have, again, just the possibility of a few one hundredths of an inch to an tenth inch in the south bay. Quarter bay in the north bay. And tomorrow, the sierra is going to see a little more snow. Theyre beginning to move into the north bay. The north bay getting the most of the wet weather. It will be tapering off. Ill show you that in a moment. Lets take a look at a beautiful silvery sky. Even a little sliver of blue there with partly sunny skies and 54 degrees right now in santa rosa. Oakland 57. Livermore, 54. 56 san jose. Temperatures slowly climbing as we move through the Morning Hours. Here is a look at Storm Tracker 2. Again, the rain is moving into the north bay. It has taken most of the morning. As we get in closer, its right off the coastline near bodega bay and highway 101, in and around windsor. Santa rosa maybe a little bit of drizzle reported in your area at times. This will continue to shift through the Morning Hours. Takes until the afternoon until it moves into the central bay. Late afternoon until it gets into the south bay. You will also notice it breaks as part as it does breaks apart as it does. Its now into the central bay. Stopping it for you at 2 00. Down the peninsula, already into the santa cruz mountains. Some of the south bay locations mostly cloudy and mainly dry. At 4 00, its really light. Light stuff going on across the region. We get into sunset and its still hanging around. Its just not a lot. Were looking at a few one hundredths of an inch for portions of the south bay. Tenth of an inch for areas right around the central bay and a little more than that as we get into the north bay. Monday morning, we start out dry but we have a second wave on the way. So we will detail what to expect for your afternoon today. Talk about this in the extended forecast coming up. In the news, bart is urging patient patience for the monday morning commute because of the electrical issue that knocked dozens of cars out of service. It is still not clear when bart is going to be able to run trains again between the pittsburgh, bay point and North Concord stations. A bus bridge is in place until at least tomorrow. Bart ran 520 cars on friday well under the 579 usually run. It will take weeks to fix the damages cars. Stay with ktvu news for the continuing bart problems. We are also posting updates on facebook, twitter and on our free ktvu app. Police are trying to look for a person who tried to abduct a woman at a bus stop. It happened at 2 00 yesterday morning at middle field road. A 24yearold menlo park woman was waiting for the bus and a man started circling her and started asking for police asking for sex. She called police. In dublin, Police Arrested two people accused of running a brothel. The two are now facing charges of pimping and pan dering. Five female victims were taken to a rape center afterwards. The bust led officers to five other locations. Investigators are trying to figure out the cause of a deadly rollover crash in milpedas. The front end of that vehicle just demolished. The driver lost control of the minivan yesterday on north macarthur boulevard. The vehicle flipped over and caught fire. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow for a body found in a car in antioch. A neighbor tipped them off. Police are not right now releasing her name. But they do say she was in her 50s and did suffer from Mental Illness. And an officer said she had also been found, quote, in that position before. A walmart breaks out into flames. Shoppers watched the flames billow as firefighters moved in quickly. They think it started on the roof from the solar panels there. The store was evacuated. No one in the end was hurt but the store suffered major water damage. Well, Santa Cruz County is considering an Emergency Declaration to pay for damage from the recent storms. On tuesday, the board of supervisors will talk about whether or not the county should ask for the emergency funds from the state. The recent storms knocked down trees and damaged roadways and there was a lot of flooding. The cost to repairs is estimated at more than 9 million. Well, the oakland running festival is underway. Runners are racing through several of the citys neighborhoods right now at this hour. That event was designed to give runners a different look at what oakland has to offer. Allie rasmus is live where the marathon started about two hours ago. Really fast runners maybe getting a little closer to you now. Reporter yeah. Were at 19th and harrison. Thats the starting and the finish line for the marathon and Half Marathon. Im going to lower my voice because theyre about to start the Half Marathon and they are just starting to sing the national anthem. So all these runners you see here, theres about 3,700 runners taking part in the Half Marathon. Its set to begin in a couple minutes from now. The participation in the oakland running festival has grown every year since the event began. It started 7 years ago. This year they have a total of 10,000 runners taking part in the various events. Theres a marathon that started at 7 30. The Half Marathon, a relay, a 5k. There was a kids fun run that was cute to see because many of the kids were under the age of 7. Their parents helped them along the finish line earlier this morning. We talked with oakland mayor about the Economic Impact of an event like this. They have people coming to participate in this from 30 different states, 10 Different Countries. This morning, we met people from south dakota. Another runner who stayed overnight in a hotel from fairfield. And so when people come and take part in this and stay overnight, they go to the restaurants and stick around and see parts of oakland, visit businesses and so forth after the event. So the Economic Impact is expected to be 12 million. Now, i want to show you the map course. We have video of that to show you. If youre waking up in oakland this morning, you are going to notice a lot of road closures happening throughout the area. Theres well, we dont have the map to show you. But it does take you from downtown oakland all the way through west oakland. And then it goes up to some of the neighborhoods in north oakland. Rock ridge, through montclair. Its a scenic area. Challenging for the runners. It goes down international boulevard and here to where we are. And it looks like one of the first runners starting on this Half Marathon. The Half Marathon goes through a lot of different neighborhoods as well. You can see a guy on the pa system talking about how were just a little less than 20 seconds away from the start. You can see the runners lining up. They have their watches ready. A lot of people here in the crowd ready to cheer a lot of these runners on. A lot of the people that we talked to told us about what they love taking part in the event is that the neighborhoods support them. There they go. Half marathon runners starting their run this morning. So the oakland running festival. The Half Marathon starting just now. We brought it to you live. After this, this is the last big event. And then after this, a couple hours from now, when everything wraps up, they have the award ceremony. It has been a great morning. The sierra is going to be getting slow. If you are traveling maybe for work or if you have to be up along i80 or highway 50, expect the snow levels to be dropping and a Winter Weather advisory for monday and tuesday. For today, we have mostly cloudy skies. Again, theres the rain beginning to show up over portions of the north bay. We will take a look at who may be getting light rain at this point. Along the coastline of the north bay from bodega bay, along highway 101, stretching into windsor, just north of santa rosa at this point, we may have drizzle going on here as well. This increases throughout the Morning Hours. This system is going to fall apart as it moves to the central and the south bay. The north bay going to see the most. This will move through today. On the back side, we get another wave on monday. Mondays system looks to be a little stronger. Even the possibility of maybe a few isolated thunderstorms. Here is a look at the futurecast models into the noon however. A few sprinkles over the central and south bay. Into the afternoon, it will slide south. Again, sort of fizzles out as it does. Areas of the south bay, a few scattered showers late in the afternoon. Then we get into monday morning. Were back to work, unfortunately. We start out dry. As we move through the afternoon, another wave moves through. But im going to stop it here at 5 00 because at least at the moment it looks like the evening drive home should be dry. So for the next two days, we are going to have this possibility of scattered showers in the forecast. A tenth of an inch expected for the south bay. Half an inch in the north bay. And the coastal hills could get an inch. So not a lot but still there. In the next 24 hours, this is what were looking at. Maybe quarter inch for santa rosa. Tenth of an inch for san jose. Looks good. San Francisco Police are taking High School Students on a once in a lifetime field trip. The Police Department is taking a group of children to learn about their family roots. Its a once in a lifetime to go with the Police Department. Im really looking forward to it. Tell me about operation genesis and why this program is so important. Operation genesis was designed to connect the kids back to their roots, their culture, where they come from. I currently work with kids in the bay view district. And working with them, ive discovered a lot of them dont know where they came from, the culture that they originated from. And i think thats huge in terms of discovering who you are. As you have gone and gone with them, watched what they experience and then they come back, how are they different . Oh, man. Its like a complete 180. A lot of the kids when i take over there, they go to school because they have to. They really dont like it. They dont take their education serious. Going over there and seeing the importance of education and how the people there would love to be in their shoes, a light switch goes off. Why do you want to go. I want to go because its a once in a lifetime opportunity. But i want to see the different environments that we live in. Its a big culture difference from over here to over there. Plus i want to give back to the kids over there. I have a lot of old notebooks and books and pencils and stuff. When i go to africa on thursday, im going to bring that with me. Youve never traveled abroad. No. And over the time that youre there, tell me all of the things that you will be doing quickly. We will do touristy things. We will meet with the first president of the village. We will visit a village and see how it was originated and how they created the slave castles, slave rivers. If he continues to promote the great wall of trump along the mexican border, Bernie Sanders is condemning what he sees as scene xenophobe i can language. Repulses all americans of good will. Mexico is our neighbor. Hillary clinton is now running ads in arizona saying if she becomes president , she will stop deporting parents of children who are already citizens. Her husband has been campaigning throughout the state, by the way, as she takes a short break. In 90 minutes from now, president obama will fly from joint base andrews to cuba. The entire first family is taking the historic trip. One of the cold warren mays is going to roll out the red carpet for president obama. During his threeday trip he will meet with cuban president castro, enjoy a state dinner, and he will catch a baseball game between the Tampa Bay Rays and cubas national team. He will deliver an address in the theater that coolidge spoke 88 years ago. It will be powerful for the president of the United States to land air force one in havana and get off the plane and spend a couple of days meeting with leaders of the cuban government, speaking to the cuban people. President obama is expected to encourage but not pressure cuba into improving human rights. Belgium announced that the terrorist said he was planning new attacks from his hideout in brussels. When they arrested him on friday, they found weapons and believe he had a new network of associates. It is unclear which cities he may have been targeting. Abdeslam is fighting extradition to france. The light showers now beginning to fall a little steady. Up there cloverdale and lake county picking up some as well. Shifting closer to the coast, we have bodega bay, maybe santa rosa light scattered showers there. Sprinkles popping up around petaluma, novato. As i step back, we are dry for the central and south bay. It will be here for the Morning Hours and eventually sink into the central and south bay. But it will sort of die out as it does. When it does, its not going to amount to much in many spots. The trade of green showing you where it will be by 1 00. Scattered showers in the forecast for the central bay by 1 00. As we get into the south bay, probably 3 00, 4 00. Then tonight, scattered showers remain in the forecast. A tenth of an inch expected in san jose. A little more for livermore. We begin with a developing story in oakland. Police are investigating three separate shootings. One of which was deadly. Officers responded to gunfire early this morning at 14th and harrison streets. The male victim was pronounced dead is he scene. This is oaklands eighth homicide of the year. Police tell the tribune there were two other shootings last night. One wounded a 17yearold and the other one injured a 17year old man and an 18yearold man and a 56yearold woman. Crews are advising people to stay out of the area around College Avenue between north street and monroe avenue because of a water main break. Someone called 911 at 2 00 this morning saying hundreds of gallons of water were flowing out on to the street there. The city says the area will remain closed until about noon. In san jose, an Early Morning fire left 14 people without a place to sleep. Firefighters received a call also just before 2 00 a. M. About flames coming from the backyard of a home on mt. Mckinley drive near i280. When fire crews arrived, two homes were also on fire. It took firefighters half an hour to bring everything under control. Fortunately no one was hurt. The red cross went into the area to offer assistant. This morning, the Contra Costa Sheriffs Department is releasing the name of the suspected child molester that deputies shot and killed on thursday. Michael mallet was facing 12 counts of child molestation. Deputies say he barricaded himself in the home when they came to arrest him. After deputies fired smoke bombs into the home, he came out of a window and aimed his gun at deputies before they had to shoot and kill him. Well, all weekend people are gathering in roseville to honor a chp officer killed in the line of duty a week ago. The family is inviting the community to a closed casket viewing. He was hit on interstate 80 near truckee. He is described as a caring and selfless man. His 4th grade teacher says taylor was considerate and thoughtful from a very young age. When i was pregnant and i was having my daughter, after she was born, nathan, only like in 4th or 5th grade at that time, hand sewed a little teddy bear for my daughter and gave it to me. Officer taylor is survived by his wife and three young sons. The chp is holding a larger Memorial Service on tuesday in roseville. A special honor today for two sets of brothers in the east bay. The teens reached the highest level of scouting and became eagle scouts. Brendan and Kennedy Watson along with clayton and cameron crow all got the honor. At 3 00 at the Baptist Church in oakland will hold a special event celebrating their achievement. Two surfers are safe after the coast guard pulled them out of the water. It happened off of gray whale beach. A coast guard Helicopter Air lifted one surfer directly to stanford Medical Center. The other surfer was transferred to a local emergency Medical Center as well. Both are expected to be okay. Oaklands premiere road race is underway at this hour. Runners on both the marathon and Half Marathon courses are on path through several of the citys neighborhoods. Allie rasmus is live at the finish line right now. Runners expected to arrive any minute. I ran this in the first year. So its been a while. But really what was so remarkable for the marathon and Half Marathon runners is how much of the city they get to see that they normally dont get to see. Reporter yes. Since that first year 7 years ago when the event started, the participation has grown. Its up 7 from last year. They have 10,000 people who have taken part in all of the Running Events happening today. This is the starting line and now the finish line because most of the events have already gotten underway. The marathon started a little after 7 00 this morning. You can see the mayor with the raiderettes. They have been here cheering on runners at the starting line. The marathon started at 7 10. We are waiting for the winners, the men and women winners to cross the finish line. Were told that they will be across the finish line any minute now. If we see someone run across, we will break in and run up to them and see if they want to do a live interview with us. The Half Marathoners got started 20 minutes ago. We have video of the start of that. The Half Marathon is the largest event in terms of the participation. 3700 people take part in the Half Marathon. We had a chance to talk to some of those participants before they started their Half Marathon race. Many were oakland locals who explained why they like this event. They say they like it more than some of the other Half Marathons and races that happen in the bay area. Oakland, its the runners weather. The spectators are awesome cheering you on. I love it. You run through the city. Its weird for me because i drive these streets every day and now i run and everything is blocked off. Does it seem different walking and running through a city versus driving through it. Yeah. Because its all about you, the runner. Reporter and here is a look at the map of the race for us. It takes them from downtown oakland through a variety of oakland neighborhoods. West oakland, rock ridge, montclair, fruitville district back to downtown oakland. The Half Marathon gives them a good tour of the city as well. Thats what a lot of runners like about the event. They get to see the city from a different perspective running the race. A lot of people line the streets and get out and cheer the runners on as they come through their neighborhood. They have had some people run across the finish line this morning but they were the relay runners. What were waiting for now is the marathon winners. Give us ai look around the bar here give us a look around the bar. How many people can squeeze in there. We had 80 people in our time slot. We sold over 560 tickets. But we actually had over 10,000 people interested in facebook. Unlook other events, you literally have balls to the bar. So the idea is you go there and meet people and you buy a drink and this is completely safe to be wandering around with the glass and people drinking and having a good time. Yeah. I mean, people were just coming in, getting a drink and laying down in the balls. There are lamps up here. People were dancing and having a great time. Okay. And i have to ask you, ryan, forgive me. But several people back here are wondering first where did you get all the balls from and do you clean those after every event or how does it work . Yes. That was a long process. Its actually been a year if the making, trying to get enough money to buy 40,000 ball pit balls. I got it from this guy in arizona and bought them new. And after this event, were going to move it to another venue and store them in a storage container in alameda. Do you spray them down . How do you clean them after all of this . Thats the callin question. Im going to put them in mesh bags and put them in garbage cans and dunking them in cleaning solution. We want to make sure its safe as well. Weve got some wet weather coming our way. Scattered showers over the north bay this morning and moving south in the afternoon. We do have a beautiful view of, well, lets pan around and show you. We have oakland there in the distance. We have mid and high level clouds overhead. Blue sky out there as well. You can see the clouds a lot higher than where they were yesterday morning. So not as low. Not a lot of fog to deal with this morning. Its a beautiful, beautiful start to the day on this first full day of spring. We do have the showers on the way. This one coming from one of our viewers. Isnt that a beautiful picture of the water and the golden gate bridge. So good start to the day with rain on the way. We know we could use it. Unfortunately it wont be a whole lot. But it will be enough in some areas. Take a look at what we have going on over portions of the north bay. Picking up the possibility of moderate rain. Lets take a look where this is falling along highway 101. Over the coastal range, we have moderate rain falling as well. Stretches back across the bay. I should say the coast. Bodega bay, dylan beach reporting rain. It stretches from rona park to petaluma. The north bay, definitely favored for this system. Its going to really start to fall apart as it moves into the central and south bay. At noon time, over the north bay. The rest of the us are cloudy but mainly dry. In the 2 00 hour, its moving south of i80. You can see into portions of the east bay like oakland. But livermore and antioch are still dry. Scattered showers. San jose and fremont, youre still dry. 3 00, its spotty and mainly dry. Light showers at times on and off type stuff. In the evening hours, it tapers off. We start tomorrow morning dry. But we have another wave that moves through monday afternoon. This could actually be a little more active. The possibility of thunderstorms there. Isolated thunderstorms doesnt look to be a huge deal but it could be again the possibility of maybe just the brief downpour thats come with mondays system. As far as rainfall amounts, tenth of an inch or so for the south bay. Half inch for the north bay. Coastal hills could pick up an inch or so. A Winter Weather advisory for tomorrow morning. Snow levels fairly high. They will drop tomorrow and into tuesday. We could see a foot of snow for the higher peaks. That is good news there. Temperatures in the 50s and even 63 degrees reported at Half Moon Bay right now. For the afternoon, mid to upper 60s in the forecast. Low to mid 60s for the north bay. And then right now, at least for the time being, it looks like we will be dry through next weekend which for those celebrating easter, i guess thats going to be a nice one on sunday. Yes. A helicopter delivered the sky slide to the 69th floor of the Downtown Us Bank tower this weekend. That is the tallest building west of the mississippi.
