New signs of 880 and hayward open after a man was struck and killed overnight. Happened about 3 30. This the man in this case ran in front of the car and was hit. And later lit by several other vehicles as well. The freeway was shut down, but back open to traffic and the chp is investigating the exact circumstances of that crash. Police are investigating computers confiscated from a San Francisco high school. Someone broke into the high school of the arts. Tens of thousands of dollars were taken, including 36 laptops, 31 desktops and some keyboards. Students say they were used in the computer lab. Using them to edit and a lot of the projects were on there, especially the old ones. And i know were not going to get them back. Whats interesting about this case is what was left behind. We recoveried a guitar case, part of this burglary investigation and a skill saw. Police are still reviewing Surveillance Video of the burglary and the school plans to increase security measures. Police in the east bay are investigating another drive by shooting in if i80 mall80 core door by the hilltop mall. She was sitting in the front passenger seat when she was shot and killed. Police believe one of the two other people in the car with her may have been the swended target. That has been the scene of four shootings in the last five weeks. After the trip to the Global Climate summit, governor jerry brown is going to paris. Part of the california delegation.
