Citys homeless czar about his efforts to get people off the streets. He is a bay area native that is back playing for the oakland raider. We catch up with t. J. Carry on his Community Work during the offseason. Yes, i did pick one of my favorite songs. Dont go breaking my heart elton john. The weather story is going to change in the next 12 hours or so. Rain is coming back. I am gasia mikaelian. Sal castaneda, mike mibach along here. Mid 70s. I love that song. I know every word. We are going to talk about the days news starting with what we are digesting this morning coming off of yesterday. We begin with super tuesday and donald trump who won seven states. But did he fail to really deliver that knockout blow to his four competitors . I think were going to be more inclusive. I think we are going to be more unified. And i think we are going to be a much bigger party and i think we are going to win in november. Texas senator ted cruz picked up three states and counted himself as the only republican who has beaten trump. It was a disappointing night for senator marco rubio, who won just the minnesota caucuses. But he, too, is expected to stay in the race in hopes of winning his home state of florida and delegates on march 15. Ohio Governor John Kasich and retired surgeon ben carson are still in the running. Trying to divide america between us and them is wrong and were not going to let it work. [cheers and applause]. Hillary clinton did not name donald trump at her Victory Party in florida, but many people read between the lines. Her message was clear. She faced some strong competition going forward. Vermont senator Bernie Sanders won four states on super tuesday even though he lags far behind in delegates. He has the cash it stay in the rate, some say until california votes in june. Joining us is political analyst brian sobel. Who is closer to actually wrapping this up . Hillary clinton or donald trump . Probably at this point Hillary Clinton has the inside track. There is still some debate about whether you can derail donald trump. But, you know, they are both in pretty fast motion at this point. To me this was winwin for trump. He won the majority of the states that were up for grabs. Then he also won because the other four candidates are still in. Absolutely. The more they are in it, the better for trump, yes or no . Its better if they continue to splinter the vote. Somehow, some way somebody has to get a couple of these people out. Of course, at this point, if its carson and kasich who leave, then its the question of are you going with rubio or cruz because thats the only path to the establishment antitrump victory. Here is a guy who didnt just win in the south. He won in the north. He is winning everywhere. He is winning everywhere. Thats the exact thing. He has defied all odds in that recommend. You know, weeks and months ago when people were talking about this, oh, hell fade and that sort of thing, he hasnt faded. So does trump sort of make his message milder to appeal or go super trump . , no, no. I think you are starting to hear him he is pivoting. He is becoming a more humble, if thats at all possible he called himself a unifier. Yeah. He had the american flags behind him. He had the whole thing going on. And Chris Christie behind him. Wow. Poor Chris Christie. Poor guy. I dont get that. Do you think Chris Christie thinks that he made a mistake . Standing behind him . Enforcing him. I think, you know, to watch these people who had their own national profile, even back when sarah palin was there, and see them all of a sudden behind trump and it just its you know, you wonder what theyre thinking about it. What does Chris Christie think he is getting out of this, as an example . Does he believe donald trump, that the person or not . You really wonder. The New York Times called him a fan boy in a kind of tough piece on Chris Christie. Oh, yeah. This might derail his future career . Absolutely. You make choices along the way. And who you support and where you stand, frankly, makes a big difference down the line. Senator cruz in his speech last night hinted everyone should bail. Get out. And if they did, that would mean some of the great lakes states, your michigan, injuring illinois, he would be more competitive it trump. Right. We dont see this happening . I dont see this happening because rubio, first of all, is saying its not going to happen. And the other two are staying in. Kasich is going to stay in to see how he does in his own state of ohio. And 99 delegates are at stake in florida. That may be the turning point for marco rubio. He did win alaska, though. And palin endorsed trump. Yep. Good win for senator cruz. Yeah. No, no. Cruz had a good night. Rubio is the one who underperformed. I think people thought as the consensus candidate, people would rally around him last night, and they didnt. Lets talk about it to the democrats or go back to the democrats. Bernie sanders has the money to stay in it. Right. His verbiage last night talking about transforming america, not quite pinpointing winning the presidency. Right. This is a subtle shift people are reading into. If this doesnt go my way, at least away heaved something . Right. He is saying i want to be the conscience of the Democratic Party. I want to move the Democratic Party to a socialistic viewpoint on things, which is where Bernie Sanders has been his entire career. And he is going to have a major speech at the convention because he is going to come in with a lot of delegates. Hillary clinton not even she is not attacking sanders any more. No. Do you think that the Bernie Sanders voters will eventually, will they stay home on election day, or vote for Hillary Clinton if he drops out . No. Think theyll stick with their candidate. But he will hes start fading. Hillary clinton is pivoting towards the general taking on donald trump. And so what happens with Bernie Sanders supporters open to question. Mine, they are going to support the democratic candidate. He did win colorado and minnesota. One little fact that stuck out for me was in Hillary Clintons loss in oklahoma, she still won the majority of the africanamerican votes. Well. Nice for her in regards it that demographic. I think you will see a coalescing really quickly around Hillary Clinton. You are already seeing it. But thats to take nothing away from the effort of Bernie Sanders. For people who are watching this morning who are Bernie Sanders great fight. He is a battler and hes got a point of view actually, very much from the left and progressive as trump does on the right. They are attracted to their own groups that are tired of the status quo. Thats what you are seeing. Brian, we have to go, but the republicans are already playing the blame game. How did we let this happen to our party . What is the future of the Republican Party if trump gets the nomination . You will see the party gravitate to the trump point of view, and we are still learning what that is, or he is going to have his run and its going to revert to something different. There is a fox debate tomorrow night. Word is donald trump may not even show. Well well see. He doesnt have to. No. He has had the dust up with megyn kelly. So well see. All right. Brian sobels breaking down super tuesday. Thank you. My pleasure. We have coverage of super tuesday on our website ktvu. Com, including the full results from each state. And here is what is next in the race for the white house. Republican candidates will face off in that debate i was mentioning it is set for tomorrow in detroit with fox news hosting. This weekend there is the next set of primaries and caucuses. Five states will vote with the big event being louisiana. Hot off his two shows in oakland at the Paramount Theater on sunday, prince himself has announced another concert at oracle arena this friday. There is still tickets available, but they cost you 600. We want to know would you pay 600 to see prince . If not prince, who might you pay that much to see . Let us know. Hughes the hashtag ktvuthe1. Thats a lot of money. A lot of money. Its 1,200 because you cant go alone, can you . Oh, yes, you can. What . No. I have been solo. Oh, okay. Coming up on mornings on 2 the 9, San Francisco continues to battle a large homeless problem. A mansers to get peoples into shelters. A reorganization is affecting bay area newspapers. The jobs being eliminated and the major newspaper will be disappearing soon. 9 12. A quick peek at stocks. The dow is down by about 50 points. The s p is down about one quarter of one percent. Nasdaq down a little more than that percentagewise. A after shock to that earthquake we have been telling you about. Orange dot on the usgs map right here shows the 7. 8 quake exactly where that hit. It was followed by 5. 1 quake less than two hours ago. The initial quake sit off tsunami advisories in indonesia and australia. There are no confirmed injuries or any major damage to tell you about. Two long time bay area newspapers will vanish next month. The Bay Area News Group is reorganizing and will eliminate two of the areas biggest newspapers. The Contra Costa Times and the oakland tribune. They will be replaced by a paper called the east bay times. And the San Jose Mercury news will become simply the mercury news. The san mateo times will be folded into that paper. A newspaper editor layoff last year says the community suffers when local newspapers disappear. The newspapers are important town square in which that sets the sort of issues of the day that we can all debate. I think when newspapers go down, we lose something in our civic discourse. Go ahead. I am sorry, gasia. The changes take plate april 5. 40 jobs will be eliminated. Yesterday morning San Francisco city workers moved along division street to clean out a homeless camp. It came after the area was declared a Health Hazard for neighbors and businesses, the man is to get the people in shetters and semi permanent housing that is set up at pier 80. Sam dodge is the new director of the Mayors Office of housing apartment Opportunity Partnership and hope. Sam joins us live this morning from just outside San Francisco city hall. Sam, good morning to you. Good morning. Thanks for having me. So real quick clarification. Can you tell me whats the exact budget the city has to attack the homeless problem . Is it about 240 million . Reporter we spend 240 million a year. But half of that is on permanent housing for over 8,000 individuals. So the other half is a combination of medical expenditures and shelters, outreach teams and dropin centers. If appears the budget continues to rise over the number of years but the number of homeless living on the streets of San Francisco is about the same. About isics thousand or so. Is the answer, sam, from your eyes more money or is it not more money . With more resourcers we can do. Thats a simple equation. We also need to be smart about how we are investing our resources and what kind of system we are building so we are ending peoples homelessness instead of just maintaining their homelessness. The Homeless Coalition has gone on record saying when San Francisco does these sweeps, it is, in essence, criminalizing the poor. The homeless. What is yourresponse to that . Well, you know, this sweep that happened yesterday, it was very difficult and it came after weeks of working with people and we placed over 200 people. Shelter and transitional housing and longterm treatment. But that sweep did happen yesterday. And i was happy that we didnt have to resort to citations or arrests. So there was none of that yesterday. And we had worked with people enough and they understood their options and they all had options. Some of them didnt take us up on it, but many did. When you say, sam, that some of them didnt take us up on it, did they set up another encampment down the road a ways . Yeah. People had different options that they were taking. But certainly some of them moved to other areas where they are continuing to be homeless on our streets. And we continue to work with them, you know. Today we have 30 placement spots in the Homeless Outreach teams pocket as they go out and engage with People Living on street and try to get as many people into our system of care as possible. What do you want to happen that you dont see happening now . Well, the big thing thats missing is a federal response to homelessness. We see all along the west coast from seattle where they are struggling with a 400 person encampment and a freeway to l. A. Where the last count had 40,000 people and 70 unshetled on their streets to honolulu and the crisis they are facing. Its not just a San Francisco phenomenon. The federal government really needs to step up with the resources necessary to end peoples homelessness. We are very encouraged obamas budget that will house 50,000 families. It has to run the gauntlet. Congress. Here in california, were uniquely challenge the. We have over 30 of the nations longterm homeless and over 20 of the nations homeless overall. We are 12 of the nations population. 70 of our homeless are unsheltered in california. This is a shared crisis that we need to respond to. Sam, what is the aversion that some people have to shelters . We have heard over and over again people dont want to go because their stuff is stolen or whatever problem they have. They would rather be on the street. What is going on to solve that issue . We have been working to redesign shelters to be more user friendly, to have a welcoming touch. But the truth is, you know, our shelters are full 95 every night and shelter works for thousands of people. Our shelter system serves over 5,000 unique individuals every year and many people just need a short shelter stay to get back on their feet. We have other people that experience long stretches of homelessness and for that we have innovated with the Navigation Center and just finding new approaches to work with people, to welcome them in, and then we Work Together with them as they get into housing. Sam, this has been going on for decades. Administration after administration and the city of San Francisco has never been able to answer the homelessness problem and now here you are four months on the job, i mean, there is a lot of pressure on you. But isnt homelessness just going to exist forever . No. It doesnt have to. We can totally end homelessness. We live in a community that thinks practically about selfdriving cars, cures to cancer, stem cell therapies and these require billions of dollars in investment but they get there. We have the solutions for homelessness. We know how to house different people against different groups of people back to our communities. We house families with shortterm rental vouchers at a 95 success rate. So we can do this. We are limited by our local resources even as well resources resourced as San Francisco is. This is a national crisis. It cannot be sold by a seven by seven mile city. We can do much better. And more investment will bring more results. Thats a great response. I know you got the backing of a lot of supervisors there. They think that sam dodge is the man to do it. So good luck to you and thanks for clicking in with us. We will check with you again in a few months. Thank you. Coming up here on mornings on 2 the 9, the debate continues between fbi and apple. How it could affect other cases and we are talking to the personal identity expert about the privacy issues at hand. We owhat made their mystskin more radiant . Nt. What . wait only dove has 1 4 moisturizing cream. Smooth dewy skin. Dove, your daily beauty treatment for radiant skin. The director of the fbi is admitting having apple up lock a iphone would set a precedent. James comey testified by the house judiciary commit and said if the government can force apple to unlock the phone used by the Santa Barbara shooter that could gain the door to accessing other iphones. Up until now the fbi said the request was limited to just that phone. Of course, apple refused a court order saying writing software to unlock the phone would set a legal press sent. Adam levin is cofounder of credit. Com or visit 911. Companies designed to proct effect your personal information. Also the offer of swipe. How to protectier self in a world full of scammers and phishers. He says privacy is not a brand. Not a right. What do you mean by that . When you look at the con fusion, if you look at it as an entire living document and look at the different provisions within the constitution, privacy is a right. And we need to do everything we can to protect privacy. And whats so disturbing about this case is i call it the potato chip theory. You cant east eat just one. The concern tim cook has and a number of other people in Silicon Valley is the fax that once they get an the fact that once they get an order like this and crete ate software to open this door and be the gateway to other phones, it could get into the wrong hands. We have lived through the snowden revelations with nsa and people are uneasy about government having access to private communications. Other agencies will line up and then other countries will line up because you cant say, well, we ask it for the u. S. , but we are not going to do it for russia or china. How is this different from the police or the government being able to break down your door with a warrant and check your house . Which is also a huge invasion of privacy. You could make the same argument for that, right . The difference is in this case they are asking a company to literally create a new product to help them open an existing product. Here the real issue has always been encryption. For years nobody thought we needed to encrypt. Nobody thought we needed to segment data. Nobody thought we needed two factor authentication. Thats when you get a code, you authenticate it. Thats why we are in the mess we are in. In 2015, over 120 million Social Security numbers were exposed to hackers and identity thieves because of breaches of just the Healthcare Providers and the office of personal management of the United States government. So the other question is, we create this and it gets into the hands of the government, how to we know it will be protected with the government . Why did apple do this special encryption . The purpose of the encryption is to protect private communications. The apple theory is your data is your data. Thats a big change for a lot of the companies that win to track, gather, store, and disseminate every morsel of information about us. But its the new thing. And someone in canada, the former information and privacy commissioner of ontario, also came up with a concept called privacy by design. And that means you build products and services with privacy at the core. Not as an addon. And not only is it terrific for those people who use those products and services, its also a marketing point, which is unlike other guys that look at privacy as an addon. We as a company develop products and services where privacy and security is the core of the product. Before we have to go, how do you think this is going to get resolved . Well, the right way to resolve is it is not to reline a 227yearold law. It is that congress and tim cook is calling for it. Let congress truly debate this and then come up with a law thats fair that takes into account all the different viewpoints. But that parole tickets privacy and security and encourages things like encryption. Steve jobs would agree with tim cook . Totally. All right. Adam levin, thank you very much. Thank you. We will have more on this topic a little bit later in the newscast. Coming up at the 9 45 pam cook will recap the conversation with a reverse Engineering Company which does courtordered hacking. He will talk about the possibility of getting into the phone in question without compromising others. Coming up, a vandalism and assault suspect in the buff. This bizarre series of events involving a police chase in san jose, we will tell you more about it. Is the bay area on the verge of a tech bubble . Signs Anderson Varejao softening economy. All right. We are checking the twitter feed right now. We put the question out there a little bit earlier. Prince is coming back to oakland for a performance. Tickets are not cheap. Would you pay 600 bucks to see prince . They said you can go alen. We will stick with that 600 figure. A lot of responses. Joe remi says i would love to see him, but 600 bucks, i dont ever see how you could leave a show feeling like it was worth it. Sal, what do you got . This is america g brown. I would love to see prince but 600 is crazy. Too bad ticket prices are out of reach for most fans. Chewy, a radio guy, he said tickets started at 50 bucks. I think all those tickets are gone and now you have to rely on what they call the secondary market, which is a nice word for scalpers. Jordan kennedy says its worth it. A man was caught this morning in East San Jose after a bizarre series of events involving a car. Police say the man rammed two gates and an electric poll at a horse stable. When a Police Officer approached him, he said police say the suspect backed up his car, hit the police car, injuring the officer. Other officers forced their way into the suspects car and arrested him and the man was naked. He is facing trespassing, vandalism and assault charges. The Police Officer will be okay. Those are some of your morning headlines. Sal, back to you. Thank you, dave. The mascot of an East Bay High School created in the 1950s is a symbol of rebellion and pride may be on the way out. Many say the rebel guy is a symbol of racism. Ktvus brian flores is live. This has prompted a pretty heated debate shoot mascot stay, brian, or should it go . Yeah. Certainly has created this heated debate with the people here now as well as several alumni. The mascot is known as rebel guy around here. Some say and the community and the school led by the principal say this mascot is offensive and needs to be changed. But partly sunny toby scruggs spoke about where the mascot needed to be changed at the San Lorenzo Unified School Board meeting. The mascot has changed. According to the school, the rebel had the Confederate Flag in the background and it was also on the teams football helmets. That changed in the 90s to the mascot you see today. But even with these changes the principal says it still bears the implication of hurtful and some say racist origins. We are a Majority Community of people of color here at San Lorenzo High School and things have changed. And while things have evolved where we no longer have minute central shows, slave day, the Confederate Flag and things part of history at this Wonderful School in the 70s and 80s and the 90s, we have to lose the confederate like image. It no longer works. Most of the students are really passionate about this issue. Like i said, the majority want a change. Reporter there are several people against this change. Many say its in the rebel its been the rebel for close to 50 years. Leave it be. One person said are we going to change history . Another said that the principal should concentrate on the lackluster are academic scores instead of this particular issue. While the board heard the presentation last night they did not make a decision whether to getted rid of the rebel museum. The principal says that decision could come in the next school board meeting. If thats the case, its scheduled for march 15. I asked if there are any other designs she would like so see. She saids whats on the table is possibly keeping the name rebel but getting rid of the image behind me. She just wants to get rid of this image again here at San Lorenzo High School. Back to you. On this mornings segment two, we look at the bay areas economy from jobs to housing. This is the envy of the company. Some are questioning whether or not a tech bubble is forming. Maureen nailer talked with a handful of experts to get their opinion about a possible slowdown and whats at stake. When you talk about bubbles, these kind of fun. Thats not the case with an economic bubble burst. In 1979, britt 1999 Brittany Spears topped the charts. Silicon valley was on the verge of the tech bubble. When that bubble bursic lost 20 of the jobs. The rental market dropped 30 and housing prices dipped 10 . Fast forward to today. Some say we are on the verge of another slowdown. Well, it does remind me of the dotcom boom. I didnt want to use the word bubble. The evaluations got so extreme over the last couple of years that it is bubblelike again. Reporter ken roczen, chair of uc berkeleys Fisher Center for real estate, says unlike 2000, companies have Business Plans and have shown profitability. However, the problem lies in investors pouring so much money in that some Tech Companies are way overvalued and due for a correction. They have been dubbed unicorns. Private companies valued at 1 billion or more because a few years ago it was rare to have a private Company Valued at that month. Today there are 152 unicorns, including uber, airbnb and pinterest. If you ask most investors they will say, nono bubble here, everything is fine, thank you very much, can you invest in my startup. Reporter entrepreneur steve blank is behind eight start ups and teaches entrepreneurship at stanford. Its deflating rather than popping and that unlike the bubble at the turn of the century, this is not going to hut your grandmother in nebraska. Reporter so what would a modern bubble burst mean . Rosen says the bay areas high end Housing Market is softening. He expects in the next three years home prices and rents could drop 15 . I wouldnt be surprised to lose, you know, 20, 30,000 jobs or 40,000 jobs over the next three years at some point. We are not there yet. I dont think so. Steven leavey is the director for the continuing study of california economy. He says the bay areas economy is strong. Companies like apple are expanding with unemployment lower than almost anywhere in the nation and tourism and airports are setting records. And while people are leaving the bay area, more people from other areas are moving in. All of the experts thought everybody would, the companies would leave, the people would leave, and it hasnt happened. Reporter the Silicon Valley tech analysts have watched the industry for 30 years. I have heard this story over and over, you know. Silicon valleys dead. Were not going anywhere. The bottom line is they just dont understand the fact that part of this is cyclical. Reporter cynthia crawl also greece agrees a cyclical shakeout is coming. In the bay area it means at a bare minimum Slower Growth and possibly a downturn this jobs. When that will happen is hard to say. Reporter everyone we spoke with agreed the biggest crisis for the bay area is affordable housing. I cant tell you how many people i know say i cant afford to live here. Reporter Silicon Valley has done well in recovery. Experts say despite high housing prices, traffic and taxes, its still a place where people want to live. In san jose, maureen naylor. The event is to honor the read across america day. Joining us is one of the players from the raiders who is participating. Cornerback t. J. Carrie. Anitoch guy. Welcome. Thank you for being with us. Thank you for having me on. Excited to be here. Whats it like to be back, you know, not only playing for the raiders, but youre in your old neighborhood, sort of, and doing this for the kids. Definitely. You know, its a blessing to be able to be out here on behalf of the Raiders Organization and just taking part in a big event today with read across america, reading dr. Suess books. Tremendous writer. Hes been able to really create the theme, the dreams, you know, a lot of understanding for the literature that he has produced over the years of him writing books. So excited on his behalf to read his literature as well. Grew up in anitoch. Played football. Moved to ohio for college only to have your parents follow you. What was that like having mom and dad show up on the doorstep at college . It was bittersweet, you know. It was awesome because they were there to be able to support. I think thats the biggest challenge with going to college, is the support system, the lack of support system that you have from family and friends. You go out on a little bit. For them to be there was a tremendous support and we learned how to manage the coming over and the visiting and really supporting the game. So we had a ball with it, actually. T. J. , obviously youre a role model for the folks in the classroom learning how to read. I am curious about your worketh eureka. How quickly you moved up the depth chart from being a seventh round pick in the nfl. What words of mow vision would you tell the High School Students here, College Students in the bay area about working hard . Keep dreaming. Dream big. You know, your dreams can never be smaller than what you think. You always have to put yourself on a platform to excel. Understand the craft that you want to study, that you want to work at, and go out and work hard at doing just that. And once you continue to follow that path, always be optimistic on the things that happen to you in life. I am a true believer that everything has for a reason. If it happens, there is a learning experience or an opportunity to come from that situation. And once you continue on that path, i promise you, you will be able to be successful in whatever you want to do in life. T. J. , you played in high school for a really good football team. Also for ohio. But whats it like whats the biggest difference . Once you got to the nfl, you had been playing football for most your life, what is the biggest difference you noticed now that youre on an nfl team playing with the big boys . Its the small things, you know. All right. Its always cliche to say that the small things matter. In this business, it really is the small things. Paying attention to situational football. Studydying film is a lot bigger than what you had to do in college and really focusing in on your weakness, whatever it may be playing within the sport that youre in. Theyll find a way to expose your weaknesses in every aspect. And so really challenging yourself to admit that you have weaknesses. I think thats a big challenge in itself. And then from there working on progressing and challenging yourself to understand that you need to get better at your weaknesses. So its the small things in the next level that a lot of us take for granted. And those make the biggest differences. T. J. , your hometown of anitoch has been through huge change in just the past several years. The population has exploded. That city, like many others, is dealing with a lot of violent crime. As a success story, what do you say to the people in anitoch right now that might help sort of basically this is your chance to brag on anitoch, because i think a lot of people would love to hear it. Yes. The biggest thing is being able to come from the city and understanding that there is a lot of challenges that young adults go through. Its hard for you to really see the dream and see past the situations that youre currently in. And the only thing that i feel that is able to help you is putting yourself around people that you think can bull you up in the built you up in the right character, the right mindset, and to help further you to reach your dream. So its challenging. But i think the biggest thing is you definitely have to see the vision and you have to be committed to what youre really wanting to do in life. And once that process begins to happen, youll start leaping through hurdles and barriers that were challenging for you. You got the super bowl champions in the afc west division. I know youre committed to taking the afc west from those denver broncos. Wishing you the best in the offseason and in the next season with the Oakland Raiders. Congratulations, t. J. To achieve that, i am not going to complain when i do my little jogs back here. Loved having him on. Lets run back to something he with talked about at the beginning of the nine. We had an expert on Identity Theft on the 9 talking about apple versus the government. Pam, you sat down with an expert who worked for apple and he disagrees with what apple is doing. Yes, because he says this is not an invasion of privacy, but a that will most likely set a precedent going forward. Bob zeid man is a Silicon Valley company that provides reverse engineering and software. Basically, Court Ordered hacking. Those are the things we are talking about in this fbi versus apple case. He points out since our constitution was this place we have had search and seizure laws for criminal investigations. He says the fbi can get into this phone. It can get into a single phone. But it doesnt know how the phone works like apple does. And in this case, a case like this, when time is of the essence and apple could get into the phone very quickly, the fbi needs its help. Now, when he was at apple, he says they were all trained on protecting intellectual property. He contends apple could have a tool to get into this one phone and that tool could be used without ever leaving a chase. I am fairly certain they have this tool. When your iphone is updated they are broadcasting over the. Net an update and they can update anything and delete this selfdestruct feature. That feature he is talking abouting he compares what the government is asking for is for apple to unlock the screen door. That the agency is still going to have to pick the lock to get inside. The fbi has to undo the encryption, which seen if apple has done their job correctly, they couldnt break through. That could be nearly impossible. Its interesting. He said he is surprised that apple picked this case to fight because everybodys on heightened alert about terrorism and terrorist attacks. The government he feels is probably going to win this case. And everyone is also afraid of government surveillance and privacy. And if the government wins this case against apple and the other Tech Companies, its going to open the door to them maybe when the government wants to do surveillance and something that isnt what we all maybe in our best interest. All right. This issue is going to continue to be a big issue. Coming up on mornings on 2 the 9, if you find yourself craving food, it may be because youre not getting enough sleep.
