Gasia already said something about it. I did. During the break. I said our weather honeymoon is over. If i could hang on to the last five days forever. Back to reality. Our sunshine and warm temps are being replaced now for some. It will still be nice just ans warm. A little bit of sun and fog has played into the forecast coast and bay. Even a little inland as well. But then high clouds and cooler temps will drop a good five to ten degrees for some. High clouds in Southern California and las vegas and phoenix for spring training. This is a weak system. The ridge of High Pressure doesnt do much. But this one is budging the high more towards texas and the middle of the country. It will stay there for a while. High clouds continue to roll in. Rain up north. Seattle and portland and crescent city. Not here. Fog is the big story here as we get more of the westerly breeze. The off shore breeze is gone for now. Probably more likely Mendocino County and lake county than anywhere else. The Pacific Jetstream is picking up its act here. Over the next 7 to 10 days, it will play that a pattern change for us. It will still be nice, just not as warm with 60s and 70s. Watch out for the fog out there, sal. Yeah. You know, that fog, steve, has been moving around just as you mentioned. Right now we go to the picture of the macarthur maze. You will see the traffic. But you will see the traffic is going to be kind of obstructed by the fog. Lets go right to it and show you the traffic on 80 westbound. It will be busy if you are driving at the macarthur maze. And just a little while ago, we could see the macarthur maze. Now we can just kind of see powell street here. As steve mentioned, the fall is getting rather thick. It may affect you driving through the bay bridge. Just a few yards away, less than a mile away, you can see the toll plaza pretty clearly. This is a 25minute delay at the bay bridge toll plaza. No major problems here. Interstate 880 Oakland North and southbound is okay. Crowded past the coliseum. Driving on 880 southbound from hayward to union city, it is slow. Also slow through pleasanton heading to fremont. 101, 280 and 85 are beginning to slow down. Lets go back to the desk. One person was killed and police are searching for a second suspect after an officer involved shooting in hayward last night. As allie rasmus explains, it happened near the cal state east bay campus. Thats where you are live this morning, allie. Reporter yes. At one point cal state officials issued a shelter in place order for students in the University Housing complex near where this incident began. It is off of carlos bead boulevard. Where we are is half a mile away at campus drive and oak drive. You can see a little bit of crime scene tape left over from the investigation yesterday evening. 5 30 is when things started. Police spotted a stolen vehicle. They believed it was concerned to a string of robberies across the bay area. They tried to get it to stop. The driver did not stop. In fact the driver drove into the Detectives Police vehicles, injuring two fremont detectives. Thats when the fremont officers opened fire in response. One passenger in the vehicle, a woman, was struck by the gunfire. But the driver kept going before crashing near campus drive and oaks drive a short distance away. One of the suspects in the vehicle took off running shortly afterwards. People living in the area were told to shelter in place. I asked the Police Officer what was going on. He said to stay in the house. Im concerned about the area now. With this taking place. You know, not as safe as it used to be. Reporter now, two other people who were also in the vehicle, a man and a woman, were arrested without incident. The woman who was shot by police, however, was treated at the scene, taken to the hospital where she died from her injuries. Her identity has not been released. The two Police Officers were treated and released from the hospital. The man who got away on foot after the vehicle crashed, they were not able to find him. And as of a few hours ago, police say that they did call off the search for that man. The Cal State University Officials Say none of the classes were affected by this. New this morning, buses filled with about 150 faith and Community Leaders from Santa Clara County are headed to the state capital today. Members of the organization pact which stands for people acting and Community Together say they want to protect immigrant and Muslim American families in california. Dozens of school and religious groups are part of this. They will fight any law designed to divide the community and they say they are fighting fear. People scared to go to the grocery store, to get out of their homes even. It is the fear of ice coming in, of families being split apart, of their religious centers being targeted. Hundreds of Community Leaders from all over the state are due to meet with state leaders, showing support for two pieces of legislation. The california values act would make sure that no state or local money is spent to carry out mass deportations. Then theres a religious freedom act that would ban the state from taking part in the muslim registry. Well, President Trumps revised travel ban is also due to be heavily scrutinized in federal courts today in hawaii, washington, and maryland. That ban is supposed to take effect tomorrow. But more than half a dozen states, including california, are challenging it in court. The executive order puts restrictions on travel from six muslim majority countries. Happening today, state lawmakers will hold a hearing focused on preventing deadly fires like the one at the ghost ship warehouse in oakland last december. 36 people died at the warehouse that was used as an artists con knee colony. They will try to identify which reforms are needed to both state and local law that could include changes to building inspection and fire code enforcement. By some reports, there are hundreds, possibly thousands of spaces being used around the space. The fire chief has officially filed papers to retire just three months after the deadly ghost ship fire. She is the first African American female fire chief in oakland and was fire chief at the time of the ghost ship fire. The deadliest in history. Her department was hampered by budget limitations. Reid filed for retirement on the day that her pension vested. She has been on leave. Oaklands mayor libby schaaf says a nationwide search for a new chief begins immediately. The trial for sierra lamars accused killer will continue in san jose. There was testimony by a woman who says that garciatorres tried to kidnap her in 2009. The woman says she was shopping in a safeway in morgan hill where garciatorres worked at the time. When she got into her car, a man got in after her, restrained her, and punched her repeatedly. The attacker was eventually scared off but police say a stun gun that had the thumb print of garciatorres was found in the womans car. Now, garciatorres is accused of attacking three women before he kidnapped and killed sierra lamar. However, his lawyers argue none of those attacks involved garciatorres. Well, police say it is harder to catch criminals because of an unintended result of a voter approved initiative almost three years ago. The california criminal dna database is shrinking. Police say in 2014, voters passed prop petition 47. It reduced seven crimes from misdemeanors to felonies. Now, these crimes included forgeries and some drug possessions and thefts under 950. The state could no longer take the dna of people who were convicted of that. The lawmakers are now working on a bill that would expand the rules for collecting dna samples and allowing Law Enforcement to obtain dna for crimes with a direct connection to rape and murder. There is a potential outbreak of norovirus at a dublin Elementary School. One student has been diagnosed with the virus at the Elementary School. About 30 other children missed school after coming down with symptoms. The school underwent extensive cleaning over the weekend. Families with children who may be sick are being told to stay hope. That is helping things out. Checking in on the latest numbers. Here is a live look at the dow jones. Up 46 points. Up since the last time i showed you. 20,882. The nasdaq is up about five points. The s p 500 up almost 7 points. Happening today, the San Francisco office of the fbi will hold a News Conference on an undisclosed topic. However it is expected that agents will discuss charges related to hacking attacks against yahoo User Accounts. It is believed that the hackers have ties to russia but it is unclear whether these charges are linked to the hacking disclosed in december in which one billion yahoo users private information was compromised or could be related to the cyber attack in 2014 where half a billion accounts were exposed. We will be watching for the meetings this morning. Ticket master fighting back against the ticket buying bots. It is rolling out verified fan that will cut down on ticket scalping. Buyers will have to enter personal information so the program can determine if humans or machines are buying up the tickets. Ticket master has been using the new program with a ed shereen tour that went on sale this week. Less than 1 of tickets ended up on secondary markets. That number is usually in the double digit markets. There is a warning out about Battery Powered headphones after a woman was burned after hers caught fire. She suffered bushes to her face during a flight from we jang to melbourne. She was napping and listening to music when they sparked and caught fire. The womans hands were burned when she threw them on to the floor. The brand of headphones was not mentioned but they used that lithium eye on battery like the ones tied to other device thats have caught fire. Last year sam sunk note 7 batteries prompted a ban of them on planes. Speaking of planes, more airlines are bring back a free perk. Miles per hour airlines will serve free meals on coast to coast flights. Travelers traveling from new york to los angeles or San Francisco will get the new perk starting may 1st. Again the big story were following today is of course the yahoo, the meetings that the fbi were hoping to hear about possibly some charges filed over the Cyber Attacks and hack attacks. What are you doing. That crash that has been there, which i first thought was just kind of a routine injury crash has now they have issued a sig alert that it will be there for another hour. That left lane will be closed. And when it turned into, you know, kind of a routine crash, it is now a very big problem for highway 4 westbound at port chicago highway. We had a crash that is blocking the left lanes just before 6 00. Now here it is 7 15 or so and just about five minutes ago, they said, you know what, we need to close the left lane for at least one more hour. And the people in antioch, pittsburg and bay point, ive gotten many complaints on twitter about this commute. A lot of people will be late. Not be in a great mood because speeds are very slow. You look at the crash and you see how deep red s you go over to the east shore freeway, its not quite as deep red. Except here on the Richmond Bridge approach. You see stop and go traffic there. As we go to the peninsula, they cleared an accident in the san mateo boundary area, northbound 101 off to the side. But traffic will be slow. San mateo bridge getting over to that side of the bay is moderately heavy. Driving into some fog. And 880 traffic is moderate as well. At the bay bridge, a backup that stretches for 20 to 25 minutes. Again, as we go to you, steve, the people on highway 4 are taking it on the chin this morning with that commute. I have seen a couple tweets saying what the heck is going on. Right. Thank you, sal. Boy, if you saw the Traffic Cameras for many, already a good fog bank out there. Although again if youre far enough inland, not dealing with it. The on shore breeze has kicked in big time for some. New information about last weeks deadly shooting on interstate 80. In 15 minutes, evidence suggesting this may have been a case of mistaken identity. The time is 7 23. Today marks six years of civil war in syria. It is a grim milestone in a conflict that has killed an estimated 500,000 people and left millions homeless. Trumps refusal to release his returns became an Ongoing Campaign issue with Hillary Clinton suggesting he may not have paid tacks at all. In reality the effective tax rate was only a bit below what average top earners were paying that year. If donald trump paid what was the equivalent i guess of about 25 in federal taxes. Yes. Federal income taxes, i think he needs a better tax attorney. Is that i mean, if i were trump, i wouldnt be worried about this at all. Still democrats will keep up the heat on trump, arguing that his claim that he cant release the returns because of audits just doesnt hold up. We dont know where these documents originally came from. Down about 10 for many. Sal, highway 4 . What is going on. Yeah. Traffic is so bad on highway 4 after this crash that it happened before 6 00. It is still there. The traffic is going to be very slow all the way back to antioch. Steve, what is happening is people are using kirker pass road and using city streets because they see the freeway is barely moving. They are getting off the freeway. That is causing near grid lock city streets in pittsburg, bay point, on concord side, until you get past the crash. As a result, because they issued a sig alert at 7 10 this morning, as a result you can see that 680 itself is not slow yet. In fact, it is not slow through Pleasant Hill. Look at that. It is unusual. If youre getting on in Pleasant Hill at 680, youre probably wondering where is everyone. Theyre stuck on highway 4. 80 westbound is heavily through hercules. An earlier accident on northbound 101 near peninsula that has been cleared but traffic is still slow. Backed up to belmont there. The san mateo bridge is moderately heavy out to the foggy peninsula. 880 traffic is moderate as well, near the oakland coliseum. At the bay bridge toll plaza. We have a 20 to 25minute wait before you make it on to the span. 7 34. Lets go back to the desk. Thank you, sal. You heard gasia. Animal experts in vacaville will try again to rescue a sea lion that is stuck in a canal. Alex savidge is there now. Why is it so hard to get the sea lion out. Reporter the problem is no one has seen this 400 pound sea lion since yesterday afternoon. He was swimming in this concrete canal in vacaville but yesterday he disappeared up into the Drainage Pipe right there and he has not been seen since. Animal control officers are out here this morning and the Mammal Center will be returning to this area to continue searching for this wayward sea lion. It was yesterday morning when someone passing by spotted the mammal in this concrete spillway. Rescue workers worked throughout the day and used air horns trying to coax the animal out of the canal with no luck. Experts expect the sea lion probably swam up the Sacramento River and took a couple of wrong turns through various water ways and wound up stranded in this spot. The wayward mammal drew a crowd of on lookers yesterday. An unusual spot for a sea lion to be found so far from the coast. It is bigger than i thought. Im guessing maybe 350 pounds. You know. And im assuming that it probably has been here longer than people think. Because of the fact that it is so big. It has trouble getting out of here. The water levels out here were flooding a couple week ago. Reporter and the good news is that sea lion appeared to be in good health. No obvious signs of any injuries. As of right now, it is a waiting game. We dont want to stretch it out as much. Hopefully it comes out so we can contain it and move forward and return it to where it came from. As of right now, its going to be a waiting game and wait it out. We have citizens in the area that will tip us off if they see it any time before then. What would you think would compel a 400 pound sea lion to come out of a Drainage Pipe. Hopefully it gets hungry and wants to come out. We will see what happens. This Drainage Pipe, how far does it go . What are you looking athe in terms of looking at in terms of this search. This pipe runs up to he will will el myra up to christine drive as far as metra as well. Hopefully he didnt go too far. Once you find him, will you capture it. Yeah. We will mobilize with the Marine Mammal center and get it back where it belongs. Have you ever dealt with anything like this . New from overnight, several cars caught fire at a tow yard in martinez. One car exploded and the fire spread to a number of other cars. Fire crews rushed to the junkyard to put out the flames. An investigation is underway to determine what started the fire. A fire displaced six people in fairfield. A ktvu viewer sent us this video of the fire. It started at a home on maryland street near interstate 880. A person was trapped in the single story home but that turned out not to be the case. Everyone inside made it out. The fire did about 150,000 in damage. The time is 7 38. A womans body found last month has been positively identified as a woman missing from Sonoma County for more than two years. 63yearold annie bailey disappeared in december of 2014 while she and her husband were going through a divorce. Investigators believed she committed suicide. But last month, her body was found and investigators say there is evidence that she did not kill herself. Now the attention is focused again on her estranged husband. I did not do this. I didnt kill her. No. I i filed for divorce from her. I couldnt stand living with her. I called 911 the two times she tried to commit suicide. I intervened in her suicide. Mr. Bailey says he filed for divorce because annie was a heavy marijuana user. Sonoma county investigators searched the home and seized her car, his car and three guns. Bailey says he was celebrating his birthday with friends who he says can vouch for him on the weekend that his wife disappeared. The time is 7 40. New evidence now indicates last weeks deadly freeway shooting in fremont may have been a case of mistaken identity. The suspects were targeting a woman who often boroughs the minivan that was shot. Police say the suspects, 4year old John Henry Johnson and two 17yearolds shot at the van from another car on interstate 80 last thursday. Were told that one of the teens is the estranged boyfriend of the woman they had hoped to shoot. 24yearold doss was killed in the shooting and a woman was hurt. He shielded the woman from gunfire, absorbing most of the gun bullets hip self. Innocent kid. Innocent. He did nothing to nobody. It is the wrong place at the wrong time. And we just want to do something to turn this thing around. Around. The family of doss says he was a College Student who wanted a career in Law Enforcement. Prosecutors want the teens to be charged as adults. The time is 7 41. People in most of the northeast are starting the day surrounded by a lot of snow. And the morning commute is a rough one. There is one flight from sfo to montreal canceled from the bay area this morning. Officials say that one may not even be weather related. There are a few flight delays out of San Francisco. Oaklands jack Lennon Square is going through a building boom with something coming to the square that we havent seen much of in the past. A few residential buildings in the final planning stages, expected to bring hundreds of Housing Units to an area that is mainly retail and office space. Across the bay, tourists may soon have to pay to drive on San Franciscos crookedest street of course lombard. There is a study of a proposal to reduce Traffic Congestion and ease traffic troubles for neighbors in the area. No word how much driverswould have to pay or how the money would be collected. New video to share this morning of an uber ride that the driver and passenger will never forget. You see the suv flying through a gas station parking lot and hitting a gas pump, causing a big explosion. The driver had a passenger in the car at the time. It hit a car at the intersection that sent it will you the gas station pump. As terrible as the video looks and as big as the explosion looks, the passenger escaped with minor injuries and the driver was not hurt. As scary as it is for the driver, can you imagine being the passenger in the back seat. Im glad theyre okay. Yeah. Sal, youve been watching a bunch of things. Have you fixed things on highway 4. Im afraid not. Highway 4 is a big mess because of an oil spill as part of an earlier accident. The accident is gone but caltrans cant let people drive on the oil. Traffic is backed up to antioch this late hour of the morning. People are getting off the freeway and pittsburg and bay point and kirker pass road, all of the roads that you might expect that you would use if highway 4 was closed are being used. So at this point i would not recommend alternate routes. I would just say if you have discretion to stay at home and wait or if you have to go, just get out there on highway 4. It will be very slow but i wouldnt recommend shortcuts at this point. Everybody has thought of shortcuts in the area. Chp issued a sig alert just after 7 00 for this crash. It may take them three hours to clear this from the moment it first began. We are monitoring it for you. Highway 80 westbound people might be using that coming into a different part of the bay area on 80. But its just very slow. The Richmond Bridge approach is also slow. Were looking at northbound 101 which is slow because of earlier problems in burlingame. And on the peninsula, southbound 280 out of daly city is slow, down to san bruno at the 380 interchange. Another bad morning there. This is a look at 880 slowing down at the coliseum. At the bay bridge, we have a back up of 15 to 20 minutes. 7 49. Lets go to steve. The damage is done on westbound highway 4 from antioch, pittsburg and bay point driving through. I will tell you that the traffic is very, very slow. Not only on the freeway, but also on all of the side roads in pittsburg, bay point, concord, kirker pass road. This is kirker pass road from high tech 130. Took a photo of it here as you can see. Kirker pass road not doing very well at all. This is a look at the bay bridge toll plaza. You can see traffic that is moving along okay at the toll plaza. No major problems here getting on to the bridge. Seeing slow traffic on the san mateo bridge heading over to a crowded peninsula. On 101, 280 and 85, we have a lot of slow traffic here. And there is 280 in downtown. That doesnt look too bad. 8 03. Lets go back to the desk. We begin with a wild series of events that led to a shelter in place for the east bay campus. A person is dead and two are in custody. A fourth suspect is on the run this morning. Allie rasmus how how it ended up with a chase and Deadly Police shooting. Reporter the shooting happened near the University Village housing complex near the cal state east bay campus. And at one point students were told to shelter in place as a precaution. But the incident ended where we are. This is campus drive and oaks drive, about half a mile away from the housing complex. You can see the crime scene tape left up from the investigation last night. 5 30 yesterday evening, two fremont Police Officers were in hayward for an investigation. They tried to stop the vehicle that they believed was connected to a string of armed robberies around the area. The driver did not stop. The driver drove into the Detectives Police vehicle, injuring two Fremont Police detectives in the process. Thats when the officers opened fire in notes so. One passenger in the vehicle, a woman, was struck by the Police Officers gunfire. The driver kept going and then crashed near campus drive and oaks drive. One of the suspects in the vehicle took off running. And police were still looking for him as of early this morning. Two other people in the vehicle were arrested without incident. A man and a woman. Now, the woman who was shot by police was treated at the scene, taken to the hospital. She died from her injuries. Her identity has not been released yet. Pending notification of next of kin. The two fremont detectives who were injured were treated and released from the hospital. Because all of this happened in hayward, Hayward Police were involved in the search for the male suspect who got away on foot. They continued that search well into the night. As of a few hours ago, they called off the search. The suspect is still on the loose. In hayward, allie rasmus, ktvu fox 2 news. There is a potential outbreak of norovirus at dublin Elementary School school. One student has been diagnosed with norovirus. 35 children missed class because of symptoms of the illness. The school underwent extensive cleaning last weekend. Families are being told to wash their hands often and children experiencing symptoms should stay home. New this morning, the department of justice says it knows who is behind the massive hack of yahoo accounts. Pam cook is here with more on what is happening today in todays money business. We are watching this closely. The San Francisco office of the fbi will hold a News Conference on an undisclosed topic. When asked if it had to do with the Security Breaches at yahoo, the head of the Justice Department Nation Security division says it is a good example of cooperation between Law Enforcement and a company that is a hacking victim. Now, what is expected, widely expected now, agents will discuss charges relating to hacking abeing at thats against yahoo User Accounts. Many sites including bloomberg, the washington post, reuters announcing that the justice will announce indictments of spies. Yahoo testified to the senate that it had been the victim of Cyber Attacks that affected 500 million yahoo User Accounts and compromised some of their personal information. Yahoo says it has been working with state, federal and international governments. The charges will mostly include hacking, wire fraud, and stealing trade secrets. It would also push up what borrowers pay on credit card payments. President trump is expected to announce a new review of federal auto fuel economy and emission rules at an event in michigan. Members of the organization pact say they want to protect immigrant and Muslim American families in california. Pact stands for people acting in Community Together. The Milpitas Police department will get new body cameras for its officers. The city Council Voted to spend 440,000 to replace the older cameras that the 84 patrol officers have been used for the past few years. The Police Department says the body worn cameras bought in 2011 and 13 are too old to continue to use. Jack London Square is in the final stages of master plan for redevelopment. The plan was approved back in 2004 if you havent been to the area lately you will see many new shops and restaurants. By all accounts the area is on an upswing. But with all of the development, there also are fears about some people being priced out. Reporter this birds eye view shows jack London Square south of the port of oakland. The best way to see the changes is up close and on foot. I used to as a kid come down here a lot. Reporter the interim head of oaklands planning and Building Department and i went for a walk through the square and surrounding neighborhood. Dan pointed out a number of construction sites such as this one on broadway and second. Now weve got a seven story 50 unit residential project going up. Reporter that should be read knee just under two years. A couple of blocks over in the produce district, another building is planned. Right across the street there is where we have another project that is approved and about to begin construction. That is about 130 residential units. So here is the mix of old and new right next to each other. Reporter and just west of 880 as you exit at jackson street, the former cost plus Headquarters Building is now a construction site as crews work on another planned residential building. He says that what is going on in and around jack London Square mirrors what is happening in the broader economy. Strong jobs growth, investment in the region and city. Some say the square has never been so hip. Theres. Theres more shops and restaurants. I was about to duck in to have a cup of coffee and a pastry. I feel like it is cleaned up. It feels safe and fun. If i lived closer, i would definitely go more often. Reporter what is now a parking lot in embarcadero and broadway, the main entrance to jack London Square will soon be a residential building, all at market rate. I would consider it but i probably couldnt afford it. Reporter paul looked in the area but ended up living in east oakland. The condominiums were pretty. I saw them online and then i saw the price tags to rent or buy and quickly realized they were out of my price range. I havent looked again. Theyre always going to build at the top of the market because Construction Costs are so expensive. Reporter another residential building is planned along embarcadero between harrison and alice. Eight stories with 330 units, builtin customers for all of the shops and restaurants and other Services Already in the square. So how soon could that be a reality . Best case, youre probably looking at summer of 2019. Reporter people i talked to welcomed the changes but dont want the area to lose its charm or diversity. If it is available to all levels of income in terms of oakland, if it is not just for folk whos can afford the price or spots, i think oakland has to do a job of being inclusive. If oakland is intentional about that, that is a good thing. Jack London Square is like a lot of oakland neighbors. They pride themselves on the sauce that makes oakland oakland. It is up to the city and residents to Work Together to direct change in a way that is positive for all. Quick question for you. Yes. Watching that in regards to the price tag. Yes. It looked nice. Can the city not make developers designation 20 of your units have to be at this particular cost . No, they cant say this building that youre putting up in jack London Square has to have 20 affordable units but they have to pay into a fund. That money gets used for Affordable Housing projects in the city. But they cant say you want to build at broadway and embarcadero, you have to put affordable units there. They are paying into a fund that is used across oakland. Does that mean there will be a ballpark in jack London Square for the oakland as. I asked him that. He said we would welcome a ballpark. We are waiting for the as to announce. They are looking at four sites within the city. That would be a big boom for the region. Sal, you know this. Jack london area is like a mile north of ktvu. Highway 24 is slowly beginning to fill in now as you drive through lafayette and orinda. People were stuck on highway 4 because of an earlier accident near port chicago highway. They have made it through. But look at 680. It is still lighter than usual. Here is a look at the bay bridge. That traffic is going to be backed up for 20 to 25 minutes. More people are beginning to show up here on 24 through lafayette as these people were stuck on highway 4. And now everybody is kind of breaking free. The freeways are beginning to fill in. Let me show you something here. Highway 4 is still slow. People are still stuck there on all of the roads trying to get here. 680 for some reason hasnt been really slow. Highway 24 has been slow as we just showed you. Bay bridge toll plaza delay is backed up for 15 to 20 minutes before you make it on to the bridge. We already showed you 880. Southbound 880 by the way will be slow from union city into fremont. And all of the south bay freeways are slow except for this this is always this is always strange to me. Right here. In hayward last night near cal state east bay a robbery suspect was shot and killed by police. Two others were taken into custody. A fourth suspect remains at largest the four were in a stolen vehicle connected to a series of armed robberies. The suspects deliberately rammed into a police vehicle, injuring two detectives. The detectives then fired at the car, killing a female suspect. And this is new video of dublin Elementary School this morning where officials are concerned there is a potential norovirus outbreak. One student has been diagnosed and 35 others called out sick yesterday suffering from the same symptoms. The school is now undergoing an extensive cleaning. Right now the u. S. Justice department is about to announce charges relating to the yahoo security breach. This is a live picture from washington. The News Conference just getting underway. Officials will announce charges against four defends, two Russian Security officers, and two criminal hackers hired by the russians. This 400pound sea lion has been missing since yesterday afternoon. Rescuers are trying to track this guy down. He was spotted swimming in this concrete canal off of leisure town road. You can see people hoping that he pops out at some point. He disappeared up into the Drainage Pipe and he disappeared. That was yesterday. Members of the Marine Animal Center will be back out this morning to continue this search. The sea lion has been nicknamed mr. Leisure. He was spotted by someone passing by. Rescuers worked throughout the day trying to coral him with no luck. Experts suspect the sea lion swam up the Sacramento River and took a couple of wrong turns and made his way through various water ways. Eventually wound up stranded in this spot and could not get out. A short time ago, i talked with a vacaville animal control officer about the plan. Well, as of right now, it is kind of a waiting game. We dont want to stretch it out as much. Hopefully it comes out so we can contain it and move forward and return it to where it came from. Right now, it is a waiting game. And then just kind of wait it out. Reporter and after he was originally spotted yesterday morning, this wayward sea lion drew quite a crowd of on lookers yesterday. Of course a very unusual spot for a sea lion to be found so far away from the coast. The good news is that the sea lion appears to be in good health. He has no obvious signs of any injuries. Again, what theyre going to try to do is obviously first of all track him down. They believe he is inside this Drainage Pipe somewhere. But this pipe goes for several miles. So theyre going to try to find him in this pipe and then coax him out of there. And the folks from the Marine Animal Center will capture him and take him in and get him checked out. Alex, thank you. New this morning, several cars caught fire at a tow yard in martinez. It looked like one car exploded and then the fire spread to several other cars. The defendants targeted yahoo accounts of russian and u. S. Government officials, including Cyber Security diplomatic and military personnel. They also targeted russian journalists, numerous employees of other providers whose networks the conspirators sought to exploit and employees of Financial Services and other commercial entities. Belon has been indicted twice before in the ups for three intrusions into Ecommerce Companies that victimized millions of customers. He has been one of the fbis most wanted cyber criminals for more than three years. Elons criminal conduct and interpol red notice did not stop the sfb officers instead of detaining him broke into networks. Belon used his relationship with the two officers and his access to yahoo to commit additional crimes to line his own pockets with money. Specifically, he used his access to yahoo to search for and steal Financial Information such as gift card and credit card numbers from users email accounts. A man accused of two separate attacks on women in palo alto is in the jail this morning in Santa Clara County. George mubara turned himself in last friday to police. He decided to turn himself in after seeing a photo of himself on the news as well as on social media. Investigators released that surveillance camera photo after a woman reported being grabbed at the palo alto transit station. Two weeks earlier a woman was able to give a description of the man she says grabbed her at the university caltrans station in palo alto. Police are asking anyone else who was assaulted or who saw the attacks to contact them. Tourists may soon have to pay to drive on that one famous section of San Franciscos lombard street.
