As we go to Silicon Valley a little bit of slow traffic but it is definitely lighter than usual. San francisco please have surrounded a house in the Bayview District. Not far from interstate 280. We just saw Police Activity out there. Brian flores is at the scene. What is happening . Reporter i can describe what is going on. There is still a heavy Police Presence here on oakdale in the Bayview District. You see a couple of detective cars coming out here as well as an ambulance. No one suspected of being in that ambulance however. Again, heavy Police Activity. From what we understand and as we go to video you can see swat officers raided some type of warehouse, they had to use chain cutters to cut through a fence and then they came inside the house. It is unclear why but we understand at least four people have been detained this morning. We are hearing these are possibly burglary suspects. Again, unconfirmed reports. Lets go back live on oakdale in the Bayview District Police Officers looks like this activity is coming to an end but you see some of the suspects being detained right now. What they have done in terms of traffic is that they set up a two block radius in the area of oakdale but we are working to gather more information on exactly the details of what just happened. These are possibly four burglary suspects who have been detained. We are going to work to gather more information on exactly what happened. Back to you. New from overnight San Jose Police investigating a homicide near downtown san jose. Police were called to Willow Street at 10 00 pm. They found a man who had been shot one time. He died at the scene. Witnesses reported seeing the gun man run away but police have read but police have not released a detailed description of the shooter. We are learning more about what led to a shooting last night that left one Police Officer dead and a second wounded. Alex savidge back in the studio with more on the search for those responsible. The police chief describes this as a heartbreaking loss for the city and still at this time there is an active church going on to find everyone who may have been involved in this deadly shooting. It happened at 11 00 last night south of downtown san diego. Two members of the Police Departments gang suppression unit pulled over a car and they were met almost immediately with gunfire. Both officers were hit several times in the upper body and they were rushed to the hospital. One of them taken by fellow officers in a squad car. Doctors, however, could not save one of the officers. The other is expected to survive. The police chief talked about the painful task of notifying the family of that officer who was killed. It was extremely difficult. There is nothing that prepares you to do that. You can imagine early in the morning when the chief knocks on the door of a family member. The officer who was shot and killed last night leaves behind a wife and two children. Again, the chief heartbroken by what has taken place in this city. What is unclear is what may have prompted this deadly shooting. We know this comes as a departments across the country remain on high alert following those ambush attacks in dallas and baton rouge. We are waiting to find out more information on the motive. Even here in oakland a week ago a Police Sergeant was shot at as she was trapped in her vehicle. We are going to wait and see what may have prompted this shooting. We do understand these were gang officers so they are clearly officers that are on patrol and dealing with some folks that may be up to no good in the community. Police say a Good Samaritan who was driving by jumped out of his car and saved the young woman despite being pepper sprayed himself. The suspect drove off in a late model nissan sedan with silver wheels and tinted rear windows. He is an africanamerican between 2540 years old, 510 and weighing 175 pounds. Officers say they spotted their own missing trailer here last night and when they began investigating they found more behind the gate. We were here as police began to process the scene. It appears the Sheriffs Office was the victim in this case. This stolen trail it is worth about 50,000. It is used for Community Farming projects. Police tell us when they arrived at the lot they found two suspects and gave chase. They say one was armed with a gun so they called Oakland Police to help assist in the search. They used a helicopter to help locate the suspects. Police arrested a man and a woman and one suspect was able to assist and one of those suspects was able to escape. When on the Property Police found thousands of dollars worth of stolen items. It looks the suspects may have been sporting on this property living in an rv with the Property Owner having no idea that they were here. We are hearing that deputies will be out here again later this morning, possibly early this afternoon to begin processing the crime scene again. The big fire south of carmel has destroyed 41 homes, burned 30,000 acres and is only 15 contained. More than 2000 homes are in danger. Suspect was found in stockton where he barricaded himself in a house. His name still has not been released. Police say he fired shots at the sgt. As she was trapped in her car after a traffic collision. As for a motive, police say, the suspect they have been inspired by the recent anti police sentiment. He did make some statements that would lead me to believe that it is part of that story a little bit. The overall narrative that is going on nationally. We are live outside of a warehouse in the Bayview District. It looks like the suspects try to get this door open. Police stormed in this morning. But we are hearing from police is that it started earlier this morning when the owner of the warehouse saw at least one person inside through his surveillance system. It turns out there were four people inside. Police tell me the men were trying to break into the warehouse. They did break into steal marijuana plants. They also tell me the warehouse was a relatively small marijuana grow operation. It remains unclear if this was a legal or not but these guys knew it was here. They somehow broke into the warehouse. As we go live police say no shots were fired. No one was hurt. Four people taken into custody. For about two hours they did a two block perimeter but as you can see behind me all of the traffic is moving now. Back to you.
