The time now is 7 03. Thank you. A young father was shot to death in a san jose neighborhood late last night. Police have been investigating for hours now. Live in san jose and you just spoke with the victims family. Other the last couple hours, they have been coming here to this street to the spa, their loved one was shot and killed. You can see people have left some flowers, his step dad and brother just drove by. They are very emotional and want to find out who did this. They identified the homicide victim as 25yearold carlos. He lived with his family around the corner. They heard the gunshots but had no idea that it was their loved one until the officers knocked on their door. Police found a car with the windows blown out and he was on the ground with gunshot wounds. He was driving down the street and got into a confrontation. Theyre unsure if he was driving or had gotten out of car. No arguing, it was quiet and just heard some pop, pop, pop, pop, we realized those are gunshots. We went out there and at a distance, we realize someone got shot because the car was in the middle of the street with the lights on but we didnt see the person. Police did not find any suspects. The family doesnt know who would shoot him. They say he was learning to be a mechanic and didnt have any enemies they know of. They want justice and hoping they can track down suspects its a sad situation out here. The family tells me that carlos leaves behind a 6yearold daughter. Is this typically a quiet neighborhood . There are major delays. The light rail vehicles are not operating and well show you some pictures here that we pulled up on twitter. Heres the problem, the problem is that there were some overhead power lines that came down in the sunset tunnel. The light rail vehicles are not running now because judah and they have put shuttle buses in place. The shuttle buses are not showing up as often as people would like. And at the same time, many of the buses are full as well. If youre traveling theres a major issue on the n judah line. The officials said that it was heading north when the man was hit and killed. The official says that the man was trespassing and was not in the crosswalk at the time of the accident.
