Police say the robbers forced their way into the home on peach court at 10 00 last night. It is located near san antonio in 24th street. A group of young adults were home. The thieves confronted them and shot 2 men in the legs. They were rushed to the hospital and are expected to survive. Investigators processed the scene collect what evidence they could but at this time they dont have suspect descriptions. At this point suspects are still at large. Investigation continues this one in texas after 12 members of the Army National guard died in a helicopter crash. Tragic mystery in Galveston Bay texas. Investigators looking into what caused a National Guard helicopter to come crashing down into the water. It happened around 4 00 this afternoon 25 miles southeast of houston. The National Guard helicopter crashed into the water with the cruise terminal. Late wednesday the helicopter wheels were spotted just 25 yards from shore. An intense search for the crew members quickly got underway but hours later this was the word from the National Guard. We have video from the other location on the 900 block of mason near the fairmont hotel. Neighbors describing a rotten egg like smoke for the 2nd day. It is plaguing the city more than 50 calls in all came in from around the city yesterday. Pg e and city crews are trying to figure out where the smell was coming from and never came up with a definitive answer. So far they are saying it depends appears to be harmless. We have checked our monitoring data and we have not seen anything that would be a concern however were still trying to determine the source and what it might have been. A Multiagency Task force, the Fire Department working with pg e all trying to figure out what the source of the smell could be. Yesterday they thought they might have had a clue because most of the calls came in from areas that were close to the water. Right now we are in the middle of the city, not particularly close to the water so that deepens the mystery. No answer as to where this odor could be coming from. How strong is it . It is very faint. Again, as we were driving in we were driving with the windows down and very faintly caught a quick smell. I asked randy if he smelled it but he said he didnt think he did but i smelled something for a moment and then it was gone. A new report shows Dangerous Levels of lead in a fruitville neighborhood of oakland. The study found elevated levels of lead in more than half the children and then insert.
