The crash scene was at 100 38th avenue where you can see the officers this morning. 138th avenue were you can see the officers this morning. The man found outside of the center was pronounced dead at the scene. He was discovered just after 7 30 pm last night, and this investigation began when the San Leandro Police received a 911 call that shots were fired. They discovered the car crash that involved a car and minivan. But the people in the minivan were nowhere to be found. While investigating the accident, officers were told that there is a man nearby that had been shot, and found just outside of the Community Center where the private function was going on at the time. We spoke with the witness that did not want to show her face, but said she was inside the nearby hospital when the shooting happened. We look out the windows install that people were running. All of a sudden one of the nurses had that someone was shot and that was it. Reporter the police have not said whether the shooting is related to the crash, but they are working to figure out if that is the case. Over the weekend the Concord Police sent out a warning about a large swarm of aggressive bees that were attacking people and animals around the area of hitchcock drive. The amateur beekeeper noticed a different type of bee in the backyard and he was attacked, and they put out a temporary high hive with bay to eventually destroyed them, and the neighbors say that the plan appears to be working. There are not enough now to bother anybody, and nobody has been stung that i know of. And the bees are suspected of being the africanized killer bees that attacked and killed two small dogs. Federal investigators say that it could take months to find out what caused the charter bus in texas to roll over on saturday, eight people killed, 44 others were injured as the bus was on the way to the casino when it rolled over 45 miles north of laredo texas. The driver was superiorly severely injured, and the state police say was raining saturday morning, but they do not know the cause of the crash. The investigators with the National Transportation safety board examine the bus for mechanical problems. The tires, brakes, suspension, steering. This is in an effort to rule out any mechanical failure that may have contributed to the crash.
