Lets go back to the desk. An air France Flight was diverted to montreal because of a threat. Allie is at sfo this morning with a look at some of the reactions from passengers on that flight. Reporter this is the third time since the november 13th paris attack that an air France Flight had to divert because of a threat. In all of those cases air france said it was a false alarm, nobody was had not burt in any of this the most recent one happened involving a flight that left sfo. Air France Flight 83 left sfo at 3 00 yesterday afternoon. In route to paris. It was supposed to be a nonstop threat but because of that threat the plane had to divert around midnight in montreal. You can see from the video at the airport buses pulled up on the tarmac to house the evacuated passengers while they and all their bags had to be screened all over again according to several passengers on board the flight, everybody seemed to take it in stride with some even commenting on and praising how calm their fellow passenger was during the process. After a full security search air france determined this threat to be a false alarm and now passengers on their way to paris again. According to a tweet from the press office the flight should be landing just before nine our time in paris. Police in philadelphia say that Surveillance Video may help them track down whoever threw a pigs head outside of a local mosque. The police say they think this incident may be related to a harassing phone message left on the answering machine one day after the terror attacks in paris. Now once they reach not enough beds here and another other shelters its just not going to be anywhere for the homeless to go. In the last few weeks the Santa Clara County opened up these three temporary shelters the one here is in san jose. Provides between 50 to 80 beds for the homeless who want to get out of the cold. Its first come, first seven and city leaders know with thousands on the streets there is still not enough shelter in the city and they know we will have a winter with storms and possible flashed fluidizes they are thinking outside the box the director of housing decided by asking the city to declare a shelter crisis it would provide a solution. The basic concept is there arent enough beds for the number of people outside and we need to figure out new solutions under California Law it allows us to use public facilities to provide overnight shelter to people in need. Five officers opened fire on him last wednesday as he staggered down the street with a knife. The officers opened fire after using pepper spray and bean bag rounds. After this deadly shooting the mayor is ordering the department to add options so that lethel force is a last resort. Woods death is also renewing calls to arm San Francisco police with tasers. In the past the Police Commission has not given the go ahead for gun guns but it could be that the tid section turning. Could be part of the conversation or could be locked out. These are the shields that are often used for crowd control.
