Were getting a clearer picture of what happened when syed farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik opened fire on the coworkers at the party. Haas night was a night for reflection. People gathered to remember the dead and injured in the shooting. Syed farook and Tashfeen Malik died in a shootout with police. Police looking for a motive. They spent hours searching there the couples home. That turned up thousands of rounds of ammunition and pipebombs and an indication the couple tries to cover their digital footprint. It was unspeakable, the carnage that we were seeing, the number of people who were injured and unfortunately already dead. The panic the face of those individuals that were in need. Were learning more about the couple. The fbi has not officially called this an act of terrorism, it appears this couple may have had terroristic ties, syed farook and Tashfeen Malik fired 65 rounds at the Holiday Party killing 14 and injury 21. Officials uncovered a huge cache of ammunition and weapons at their home. 4,000 rounds, a dozen pipe bombs and weapon making tools. Syed farook was in contact with known islamic supremacist but extremist. They found two smashed cell phones and a computer missing a hard drive. That could indicate they were attempting to cover their tracks. Syed farook got into a dispute at wednesdays Holiday Party. Unusually they were calling it workplace violence. It appears the investigation may be taking a turn. Maybe this is a hybrid. One thing officials know for sure, based on the weaponry, based on the ammunition that this couple had, it was clear that they had an intended target. A sinister act on their mind before wednesdays mass shooting. I know its a busy time, i dont know if you had a chance to check on this, there was a vigil by the Community Reacting to what happened, were you there and what have you heard about it, if you did. I personally was not there, ive seen the video, that vigil was last night in San Bernardino, it was an emotional vigil. This community has been shaken to the core by this mass shooting. Were starting to hear very moving stories about some of the victims involved. 13 people 13 people lost their lives. A father of six young children. A new father with a 20 month old baby. One gentleman we spoke with who lost his boyfriend. His loved one and he didnt find out until a full day later. There was miscommunication, he thought his loved one was in a hospital. Governor jerry brown delayed flying to paris for the Climate Conference to visit San Bernardino. He was briefed yesterday by Law Enforcement officials. The governor was supposed to arrive in paris today where hes scheduled to attend 21 events over a six day period. A spokesman said hes now likely to arrive at the Conference Tomorrow but a final decision has not been made. Donald trump is coming in for more criticism after saying the u. S. San Francisco Mayor ed lee has a new plan to solve the homeless problem in the city and wants it done by the time he leaves office. Creating a department that puts all Homeless Services in one building. This will coordinate everyone from health and housing to drug rehab programs and counseling. The mayor said the plan to streamline Homeless Services has worked in other cities. By the time i leave office, we will move at least 8,000 people out of homelessness and remove them out of homelessness forever. Right now San Francisco spends 225 million a year on homeless programs which translates to 34,000 a year for each homeless person in San Francisco. The mayor of san jose will announce a deal with City Employees ending a court fight over pension reform. This agreement represents 4,000 employees. City voters approved measure b to cease the coast of Employee Retirement plans but it was opposed by police and fire union.
