Last week there were several fire set and an arson investigator is telling us that he believes these were all intentional. Yesterday, there were a few more. One fire was reported on sunset drive, just off of highway 4 yesterday afternoon. The other two were near hillcrest avenue. The first fire was in the exact location of one of the fire set last we. An offduty firefighter was in antioch visiting his grandparents when he jumped into action. Here he is with a garden hose attacking the head of the fire. The four suspects are accused of breaking into 17 cars in the parking lot of a hampton inn last friday and stealing one of the cars. Investigators say a few hours later and livermore they broke into another 36 cars. Two shooting suspects are in custody after a very intense manhunt in san leandro. Police say they gunman fired shots into an occupied car injuring two people and then the gunman ran away. Around 8 30 pm, police said they had captured two suspects and canceled a shelter in place order. And San Francisco, more than a dozen low income veterans are in danger of losing their homes. She has converted the house into six, single occupancy apartments in this building and has made similar conversions in other buildings. The city alleges many of the units were built without proper permits or substandard and not up to electrical and plumbing codes. The question is, if the units are closed down, where can the tenants go . Im really confused about the whole matter. Not knowing what to do and where to go. San franciscos main Library Closed yesterday afternoon after a man jumped off a balcony in the main atrium. This happened just before 4 pm. New this morning, owners of an east bay towing company are being find nearly 5 million after the state ruled they violated labor laws. State inspectors accused them of labor violations affecting 187 employees including truck drivers, dispatchers and mechanics. As many as 10 employees of Yellowstone NationalParks Maintenance Division will be disciplined because they subjected female employees to Sexual Harassment. South bay homeless advocates are claiming victory after the city of san jose backed away from a crackdown on the people who feed the homeless in a downtown park. Today the golden gate which district is expected to give final approval to a plan to remodel part of the toll plaza. The 7 million project calls for every designed of the structure that overhangs each lane of the toll plaza. The old one was built to accommodate human toll takers. As we no, they are no longer there. New designs do not have booths between each lanes so there is more room for cars and will hopefully reduce the risk of crashes at the toll plaza. You heard pam say that starbucks will shut down its Tijuana Stores all over the country by next spring. They will shut down the stores because of underperforming sales. California governor jerry brown has signed legislation allowing the sale of beer made by college students.
