Breaking news out of San Francisco this morning, the police are at the scene of a deadly shooting and the officers are investigating what was happening and while doing so a police car was attacked and we talk about the shooting in vandalism that occurred afterward. Reporter good morning. We are at 24th street and mission, a San Francisco me bitter major thoroughfare. A lot of the attention is focused at this bar across the street from where we are right now. We have video the scene earlier today and officers not releasing a great deal of information. What we know so far is that officers responded after report of shots fired at 2 30 am. They found a male victim that died from gunshot wound but no suspect description or word on arrest at this time. This could have a major impact on the traffic and the mission avenue shut down between 23rd and 24th with a major intersection for muni and bark stops right here. We are following up on reports that something was thrown to the police car window and we are looking for more details on that, and you can see the investigation is underway at the intersection at mission and 24th street. If the Investigation Continues you can see this area at 24th mission between 24th and 2030 shut down that will pose a major impact as muni lines run to this area and keep in mind this is also a bart and muni destination. We anticipate that sf pd will try to get this wrapped up as quick as is practical while still maintaining the homicide investigation. A very busy area and certainly could affect a lot of people.
