Sunday evening around 8 15 pm a student reported seeing a man standing outside of his window possibly holding a chain. He too ran away after being spotted and the victim said he couldve had another man with him. A san jose man is facing charges of attempted murder of a Police Officer after firing shots at them yesterday, the third officerinvolved shooting in the city within a week. Yesterday the shooting happened just before 8 00 in the morning. The suspect had been casing the Sporting Goods store and when the officers arrived the man pulled a gun and began to fire at them, and the officer returned fire. No one was hurt and they said the suspect jumped a fence into the Mobile Home Park where he was arrested. They also found a handgun that had been reported stolen in a burglary in 2013. The actions of the suspect were appalling and the continued Violence Toward Law Enforcement is equally appalling. The police say the suspect is believed to be homeless with a history of mental illness. The firefighters in san bruno battling flames at a duplex that started at 11 00 at the twostory duplex on the North Bayshore circle and we have not heard about any injuries or how the fire started.
