A man from lafayette who suffered a heart attack at the Oakland Airport in february had a chance to thank the four nurses who saved his life. Yesterday the nurses were honored with a proclamation from the city for their heroic efforts. In february, Stephen Kershner and his wife were planning to fly to seattle to visit stephens mother. Stephen a suddenly collapsed on the sidewalk. And then mi4 angels arrived and took over. They literally took over. They started compressions immediately and eventually asked for the defibrillator. The registered nurses with Kaiser Permanente had just come back from a business trip to vegas when they saw stephen on the ground. They performed cpr and then Alameda CountySheriff Deputies arrived with the defibrillator. Its a beautiful thing. Its very overwhelming.
