Oakland public works say they dont know when they will be able to clear that road. They got an up look video there. And other related issues since early january. It is now four of 3 am. Where a woman who is trapped by mudslides inside of her home went on Facebook Live to call for help. Some of the cars are getting washed away. If someone can call caltrans or whoever and send them up to our house. And her landline is not working so jennifer depended on her into that. Emergency crews couldnt get to them so the family had to wait it out. All of the water and mud came down and it was just this force of nothing like ive ever seen before. Now to homes on the family road were damaged. The house that belongs to jennifers sister is by the way is five months pregnant is uninhabitable now. Four of their cars were also damaged. School districts that are closed today include mill valley, ross valley, marin city, and the union school district. Marin catholic has also canceled classes and the college of marin is closed today. The city of oakland just released more than 600 pages of public records related to the deadly ghost ship fire. They tell us what those documents are real. 36 people lost their lives on december 2 the night that the ghost ship warehouse went up in flames. Many of the victims who died were Young Artists living at a space decorated with art in treasured collectibles. On paper, it was a was not permitted for housing of any sort. Yet we are finding out that it was used as such or at least two years. Detailed in the 600 pages of public records we have discovered that Police Likely new that people were living there as early as 2014. On december 3, police were called to that address after the landlord had reportedly punched a tenant for being short unlit on rent. He said he was worried if it stayed under the same roof. Then on february 2, 2015 they met again with the landlord over a dispute. The report says that it was used for illegal shared housing and police advised both of them of their legal obligation. Police were called back to the warehouse several times for criminal activity. A barricade situation in march a disturbing with a knife thats a disturbance with a knife wielding suspects. After the fire broke out they uncovered multiple code violations. Three of which were verified. One in 2005 and another in 2014. The most recent violation was issued for trash and Hazardous Materials piling up on the property and suspicion of People Living there. All this was two weeks before the deadly fire. An inspector was not able to gain access to the inside and a follow brush a followup inspection was not bash and a followup inspection was not scheduled. Highway 17 in the Santa Cruz Mountains is still affected by that major mudslide. And, it may not get back to normal until this weekend. And certainly, we are getting more rain today. Only one lane highway 17 is open. Debris is being removed and the crumbling hillside is being maintained. And the westbound lanes of 37 are still closed between atherton and highway 101 because of flooding. Only one eastbound lane is open this morning. These big pumps are pumping the water off of the road. Westbound lanes of 37 are expected to stay closed for a few more days. We do have good traffic is. Interstate 580 and livermore is open again. Thats after all the emergency pothole repair. At least 15 cars have flat tires after hitting potholes. One of those potholes measured 4 x 12. That is bigger than a pothole. Yes
