They recovered the womans purse and they say he has confessed. A top administrator at a San Jose High School has been arrested, accused of having an in a moment relationship with a 17yearold. The interim Vice President at Police Arrested him this week after a teenage girl told about an incident at his home over the summer. San francisco will reconsider the controversial issue of whether to arm officers with stun guns. Greg suhr will renew his call for stun guns at the commission meeting. Tasers will be part of the new proposed use of force policy. Health officials will provide students at Santa Clara University with free vaccines in the hopes of stopping the spread of meningitis. Two students are receiving treatment. Another update is expected this morning. Both students live in the same dorm and are associated with the same fraternity. Health Officials Say the bacteria is spread by close contact and is deadly in 10 of cases. This news comes as 10,000 people are expected saturday for an all day presuper bowl event. That event is is expected to go on as scheduled. In alameda, Argosy University had a case of meningitis that turned deadly. An employee died on january 25th and tested positive for bacterial meningitis. The Health Department has been checking individuals who are in close contact with that employee but there appears to be no risk to the community. One state has declared an emergency due to zika. Nine cases of the virus were ordered in florida. Officials are to educate the public. And the most jarring effect of the virus is a birth defect where babies are born with small heads. And cruz and marco rubio are trying to build on their momentum. Rand pauls messaging never really caught tractions. And Rick Santorum who won iowa in 2012 is throwing his support behind rubio. Hes the new generation and someone that can bring this country together not just moderates and conservatives, but young and old. And just outside the gates of super bowl city, homeless advocates gathered for a protest on the embarcadero. They say the city is pushing the homeless aside and subsidizing the wealthy instead of needy. The same officers that kept them from pitching their tents. How dare ed lee say he wants to keep all the Homeless People out of San Francisco for this super bowl. Theyre being told that they need to move. Reporter citations have been flying for infractions such as sitting on sidewalking. The encampments have been displaced. People have been getting ticketed and arrested and having their property confiscated. This homeless vet was cited five times recently. Theyll move you on.
