Many are angry about the deadly shootings of black men by the Police Across the nation and in city hall a vigil was held and praying for change. They turned their attention to the tragedy in dallas where the Police Officers were ambushed and shot, and a former Police Officer spoke at these events. The point is that absolutely black lives matter and this is a cause that we have to support whether it is with the city or the police department. Reporter the san jose Police Officers doubled up in the patrol cars by order of the police chief as a safety precaution in light of what happened in dallas, and some say that the hostility will not solve the problem toward the lease toward the police, and instead will exacerbate it. We are told that the policy about doubling up in the police cars will be reevaluated later today. And we have a builtin audience and we can have a Life Public Service Announcement to raise these important issues and to help to be involved in the community. We have a group of players that are role models for our community, and if we can put them with important organizations, that is beneficial. You can fill it in every aspect. Feel it in every aspect. We try to connect with childrens groups, animal groups, and it really runs the gamut. The players get a lot out of it, and they are connected. We see them after they stop playing and they are so connected with the groups that they recently met with their experience with the giants. Tell us the mission of the community fund. It reflects a lot of what the giants do, and that is to enhance the families, especially those in the underserved communities. We serve the junior giants program, and that is our main objective, as well as doing grants in the areas of health, education and violence recognition. How many funds has the Giants Organization served over the years . The numbers for the junior giants or more distinct than we know that we have helped almost 300,000 kids since 1994 with the junior giants program. In addition to that, for the grants since 1991, i cannot imagine how many hundreds of thousands of people that we have been able to help, and that is all through the fans providing the funds to the community fund. We really see this as our fan fund. And you call it the fan fund for what reason . We were able to raise a raffle and raise approximately 500,000 each time, and that is a beautiful bonus for the kids. And you look at the world in a different way with the fans.
