The suspects are gang members, including two teenagers. Authorities say that following the shooting the suspects tried to escape in a stolen minivan and crashed into an suv. They ran away and were tracked down in raids monday night on union city in san jose. They are pretty young, 14 to 16 years old. Our investigation has led us to believe that they clearly are advanced for people that age, especially when they are involved in very violent crimes. The Police Arrested a 14, 16 and 25yearold in connection with those shootings. The prosecutors will review the case today to consider whether the teenagers will be charged as adults. They will hold what they are calling a family sit in today and will be joined by the police chief and survivors of gun violence. The Pittsburg Police department is accused of hiding misconduct of its police officers. The Contra Costa Public Defenders Office filed motions this week claiming that the Police Department intentionally withheld files from the judges, and the Police Department says it was a mistake. Three are in question, and the misconduct may not be tied to the convictions, but Police Department often share misconduct records with judges so that they can determine whether the information applies to a particular case.
