No slowdowns being reported in that area, and as we give you a big picture here of what the south bay freeway system looks like, you can see no major crashes being reported. No crashes, at all, being reported and no slowdowns in that part of the bay area. A nice smooth ride if that is where you have to travel this morning. And as you come up the peninsula here, and well take you up to the north bay, and you can see there highway 101 through marin county is looking straight leg raising good. Well, lastminute rep operation preparations are underway for tonights big new years eve Fireworks Show in San Francisco. Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to show up and see it. Lastminute touches. City of San Francisco crews out clearing up some of the trees, some of the leaves on the streets just trying to make the whole area pretty. If you take a look over here, you can see they have already put out some of the barricades that well be sitting out tonight. Hundreds of thousands of people expected out here. And everybody certainly hoping for clear weather for the big display tonight. Crews placed red caps over the ends of the fireworks tubes to make sure that no water got in there. Organizers said by last night, twothirds of the work was done getting those fireworks ready. Now, at 10 30 tonight, the tugboat pulling the barge with all those fireworks will pull out and get ready for a spectacular 15minute display. This is very exciting. Very colorful. Theyre big. They make loud noises, and it just kind of attracts all of our senses. Now, police are not warning of any specific threats but are asking anyone to see if anything suspicious to report it immediately. Again, you saw those barricades being set up along.
