Quite the week we have had weather wise, just getting pounded across the bay area. Popped outside, a little clear skies, little chilly. Mark in for rosemary. Good morning to you. Good morning. What a week. Nice to be here with you, these breaks are important. We have more rain in the five day but nothing compared to the really strong storm that moved in to the bay area first thing thursday. Today though the biggest hurdle will be fog out there. Looking toward the bay bridge. Watch out for a reduction of visibility. At least in the short term the key headline, itll be dry. As you can see on live Storm Tracker two there is another weather system sneaking into the left portion of the screen. Thats the next system. Itll come in sunday night and monday. Right now we have low clouds and fog and partly cloudy skies. In terms of the fog a drop off in visibility. You can see some of the reports, santa rosa down to a mile, concord at last check three quarters of a mile. Its cold out there. Look at those numbers showing you 40s for napa, San Francisco should be around 50. Mountain view 43. With the recent rainfall over the past few days and that temperature cools down to the dew point and you have the fog, especially in the inland valleys and up in the north bethea will be a factor for that morning. Here is your forecast this morning at the 8 00. Areas of fog and then in to the afternoon no rain clouds to worry about. Temperatures in the upper 50s. 55 to at least 60. Partly cloudy skies, we will talk more about that system. We have more rain cloud in the fiveday. Thank you mark. We want to start off talking about the storm situation. The Flood Warning has been canceled this morning for the Russian River. We will talk more about that. First we want to show you pictures. The water is dropping below that 32foot flood stage. It did over flow yesterday. Rescuers have been patrolling the waters searching for people trapped and who live along the flooded bangs. We got a chance to ride with a group of firefighters on a zodiac bit as they practiced some swift water rescues. Most calls will be related to people driving through floodwaters and something happening or people not evacuating. Now in the stretch of river that our crews went to it was flowing at about 12 miles an hour but the current is much stronger below the surface. Firefighters say they rescue people stranded in stalled cars and have to pull people to safety who refused to evacuate. The residents need help when they loose power or run out of supplies. Evacuations started earlier in the week. Flooding didnt catch many off guard. There was also quite a bit of debris flowing down that river. We spotted some street signs, homes and other build uppings damaged by that rising water the gm of the highland del lodge said the down stairs level is flooded there which is where they keep wine. The peninsula, another area hit hard by the storm flooding residents had to evacuate. Many of the homes are still red tagged. Reporter we are at a Mobile Home Park just off east bayshore road. You can see couple of days ago after the storm came through and they are still dealing with the aftermath of flooding and standing water. If you look around this is the east end of the Mobile Home Park and part of the problem with the flooding is just because of where this park happens to be. East of here beyond that fence is a series of salt ponds on the bay and west is highway 101. You can see there is still about half a foot of standing water in the east end of the park. The homes in this area, doesnt look like anyone is home and we know that about 200 people in this Mobile Home Park and the one next door had to be evacuated yesterday because of the flooding. Some cases the water was up to waist high. Residents tried to clean up and mop up before they had to leave yesterday. The front of the Mobile Home Park we saw has been red tagged. Its unsafe to enter. We have seen a couple mobile homes here in the park that had their power ono. We arent sure if everybody heeded that evacuation warning or if some came back this morning. We know in the east end of this park it doesnt look like anyone is home and thats where the worst flooding is. The residents say there has been flooding before but its not been that bad in a long time. The storm on thursday caused other problems in other parts of the bay area not just with flooding but downed trees. Want to show you this video looking at a giant tree that came crashing down on a home in union city. That home also is a senior care facility. Eight people were inside when this happened. Fearly slicing the bailing in two. Nobody was hurt. This major storm is behind us but there is more rain headed our way this week and tree experts caution Property Owners to watch large trees that look unstable. People could look, watch and see if they can see up lifting. If they see movement in the soil that is when they should be concerned. Reporter another large tree yesterday fell on a home near danville. This was a large oak treet. Fell on the garage didnt damage the main part of the house. The homeowners havent been displaced but thats not the case here in this Mobile Home Park where they are still dealing flooding and standing water in this area. Hopefully they can get it cleaned up across the bay area before that next system. All right. Thank you for that story. The storm that pounded the bay area also causing problems in Southern California. Mudslides buried more than a dozen homes in Ventura County a major wildfire last year hit the hill skied side hillsides making them unstable and they gave way. Many have lost a lot. Rocks, debris and Everything Else just shooting out into the street. Some parts of Southern California got half a foot of rain with 90mile an hour wind gusts. 150,000 lost power at one point. And a man recorded this video of a tornado touching down in South Los Angeles during the heavy storm. The twister blew through a ten block area. Nobody was hurt. One Business Owner said he is used to storms and quakes but not a tornado. The National Weather service said it was a ef0 tornado which is the weakest form of a tornado with winds between 65 and 85 miles an hour. Happening today there are going to be more demonstrations in San Francisco and the east bay in. Organizers sane are planning what is supposed to be a peaceful protest at noon in union square. We all got there and just held each other, held his kidses and give and it just just doesnt seem real. Doesnt seem real even here today. When he died he was building a dream house for his family by himself. Firefighters are now raising money to try to help finish the house. They opened on thursday. 48, 49 actors and majority of them you can see on the screen are children. As young as seven and which is great. Some of them want to act, some want to tinker around. Lot of guidance. We saw scrooge. Thats who you talked too. Yeah. Marin county guy. We were laughing because we both went to college of marin. The broadcast side. We shared memories of the good old campus there. Great actor. Great person there. Then the man next to him is nicholas pelzar and he plays the character of Bob Cratchett probably an interesting role to play. I know you talked to them. Hurdles to our own enjoyment of life. This play says no, you will find happiness by sharing with other people. You realize how special it is when you in a beautiful space. Doing a classic play that really celebrates the spirit of christmas and the holiday. And you joe what is so great. We are looking at video you talk about. Yeah. Transforms you into that is how they kind of sweep you back with all the great sets and all their amazing costumes. Some want something a bit different or added. That team of ten is very busy. They start two months kind of before that first show in preparation for that. They are beautiful. Its such art work you know. I think when you are doing those interviews what i thought was cool is how much they appreciate that they were a part of such a classic and such a tradition and they talk to you about their favorite line. Favorite lines they delivered to the audience and for bob or the actor who plays him, it was a line that he gives at the christmas dinner. Thats not it. No. Thats toys for tots. Maybe you could recreate it. We have the holiday theme going. What he said in that line is he is looking at all the children and describe itself for him and he he said i say you know a Merry Christmas to all and for him he said he got a little emotional while he described it and gave that line. He got choked out. There we go. Talking about earlier is that the lessons that you kind of you know you learn you have seen it a thousand times but its still kind of just sits right there. You get wrapped up sometimes. The ghosts but when it comes down to it its as you said a Merry Christmas. And you have interesting facts about the carol. It was published in 1843. It took them just about six weeks to write and since it began performance 38 years ago its preformed more than 150,000 times. It also has employed nearly 1900 actors and 750 backstage Staff Members to put that together. Not a lot of people. No. All right. We want to talk about holiday life. From one tradition to the next. We are searching the bay area. You probably heard about this now. See it up there. All decked out for the holidays. We are asking the viewers to share any photographs and videos all their relevant yeah nice decorations. And todays entry is a man from pacifica. His name is michael. [ music ] michael said his dad has put up this display for almost 20 years. It features 30,000 lights and for the past eight years they have been set to it music. On top of it all the light show is host to a canned food drive. It goes to the pacifica resource center. Makes me feel bad about my holiday. I thought mine was cool. Then it does president have theme museum kick ten to 12 different music. You hope miss neighbor hope his neighbors appreciate it. If your neighbor is better than that or decked out. Post a video or photograph to the Facebook Page and teeth us. We will check out the displays and then you can vote. I though the music was the guys in the production, control room. No thats out there at the house in pacifica. Yes. Cool. If you can do better than that you could win the bragging rights of bay areas best holiday display. You are now put on notice. See what you can come up with. After the show you can set up your own lights. Pick out the songs. Yes. And then mike can put them up for me. I went up to my mom wanted me to put up my outdoor lights. I said we have to hold off a little bit. The weather. Yeah. My lights are flipped around. Half are in the gutter. Then you didnt put them up well. They are up well. Today is a good day for decorating outside. Get over there. No whatever works. I will talk act the weather first. Hire in oakland. Clear skies and this particular image. Mornings on 2 continues now. Complete bay area News Coverage starts right now. This is ktvu mornings on 2. Well, good morning. Welcome to mornings on 2. It is saturday, december 13th. Im claudine wong. Good morning everyone. Im mike mibach. Hope youre having a fantastic morning, maybe a cup of coffee, hot chocolate. Definitely drier than its been for the last couple of days. I know i was standing in the rain. Its nice to be inside and dry. I know you were. Meteorologist mark tamayo is in for rosemary today. Mark, youre upstairs on top of the building, how shes locking out there. Now you put the weatherman outside enjoying the sunshine. Exactly. Funny how that works. Yeah, just perfect timing, a bit of a glare out here. Still enjoying all the clear skies here in oakland. But some patches of dense fog out there as you can see over San Francisco bay and the inland valleys out towards santa rosa, napa, livermore, antioch, fairfield, reports of dense fog. Dense fog across the bay as well. Thats going to be a factor in the forecast for today. The headline, it is completely dry. There is a weather system offshore. Well take a look at the satellite. You can see it approaching the left portion of your screen. It will be dry for most of your weekend here on live Storm Tracker 2. After the dense fog this morning, skies becoming partly cloudy, even a few mostly sunny observations like we have now in oakland. The forecast highs for this afternoon mainly in the 50s, so we have some morning fog, skies becoming partly cloudy. San francisco 58 degrees, livermore in the upper 50s and napa checks in 55 degrees. Well continue to dodge the sunshine in the shortterm for this morning, at least here in oakland, but well talk more about the rain clouds, multiple rain clouds to talk about in the fiveday forecast. More on that in just a few minutes. Sounds good. See you soon. Thank you. Lets talk about the Russian River. That Flood Warning that had been in effect was actually canceled this morning, but theres still a lot of danger out there. Want to show you pictures of that very swollen river. That water has dropped below the 32foot flood stage. The water did overflow its banks in guerneville yesterday. Rescuers have been patrolling that river searching for anyone who lives along those flooded banks that might be in trouble. You can see videos from a little ride along with the forestville firefighters on a zodiac boat. Most of our calls are going to be relate today people driving through flood waters and something happening or people not evacuating. So the stretch of river that youre looking at where we were yesterday or i should say Debora Villalon was yesterday was about 12 miles an hour. Experts warn the current is much stronger below the surface. Firefighters say they routinely have to rescue people who either refuse to evacuate or got stranded in their stalled cars. Residents often need help after they lose power or they run out of supplies. And then there were evacuations along the Russian River earlier in the week. They were expecting problems, so the flooding didnt catch too many of them off guard. Then debris was also a bit of a problem now. Mike i know you were out there earlier or yesterday, and you were out in napa on thursday. And were looking at these pictures, tell me what were looking at in terms of what you saw. Napa was fine, the river was tame, got pretty high, got close to going over. Yesterday cruised through forestville, guerneville, mont rio on the west side and a lot of not a lot of businesses damaged. If they were, it was kind of some lodges right there in the low lying areas. Also theres one of them right there. Also the campgrounds got hit hard, very hard. As for the homes, like when you see ha, that they just learn from the past, 86, 95 new years day, 2006, the flood stage at the river in guerneville is 32 feet. Yesterday it was a little over 33 feet. When you go back nine years it got up to 41, 42 feet. It wasnt even close. See what theyre doing there, thats the fema steps they got the money from to build up those homes. A lot of the homes not close to being flooded like they were nine years ago. Are they still you know, they were talking about how some people didnt want to leave. Theyre like we got this. They dont want to leave because their house becomes an island. Theyre on stilts so they cant get out. I mean they live on a river so most of them have kayaks or boats. If they really want to they can leave. There was no mandatory evacuations. They were voluntary. They just went up the mountain a little bit. Stay close. The water was starting to recede about 3 00 yesterday afternoon. We hope for an easy weekend for them. We want to go now to allie rasmus because shes in another area that was kind of hard hit by that storm. This is like a Mobile Home Park. Crews have been out there all morning, and it looks like they are making good progress. They are claudine. We are at the Mobile Home Park in redwood city. This is an area that had a lot of flooding problems on thursday. The water around here was waist high. I want to show you the ground where were standing. Theres a little bit of debris here. Two hours ago if we were standing here two hours ago, we would have been in about 4 inches of water. They have soaked it up pretty quickly because public works crews arrived around 7 30 this morning. Theyve been working to pump out the remainder of that flood water. You can see them here up against this fence. Theyve got the pump out here, and we have some video up close to show you of the work they were doing here this morning. The waters have receded pretty quickly since then. They got here at 7 30 started pumping out the water. Theres a lot less of it out here. Now a lot of the flooding problems here at this Mobile Home Park and the one next door on the bay shore road has to do with where they are located, right next to a canal and east of that canal theres some salt ponds and east of that is the bay. Residents here say flooding is not uncommon. Thursday was the worst of it. It was waist high, and there was a lot of debris and even furniture floating around. Peoples possessions floating around in that water. Residents say the past couple of days have been the worst flooding theyve seen here in ten years. I know we need the rain and everything, but its like very bad, you know, because its, you know, it smells really bad and everything like that. You know. People are bringing their kids on top of their hats to carry them out and everything to make sure their kids were safe. They had to boat down here because some of the people are old and elderly, plus their possessions we put in what they wanted to take so it wouldnt get water logged. Reporter now on thursday, redwood city firefighters helped about 50 people evacuate. They had advised residents in all 200 mobile homes here and in the park next door to leave on thursday, but not everyone heeded that warning. A lot of people were reluctant to leave their homes. The fire battalion chief says because there is more rain on the way from monday through wednesday of next week, he would urge residents to reconsider and possibly consider going to a shelter. They still have shelters open this week, and theyll be open for the next couple of days. Back out here live, you can see theres still a little bit of standing water, probably about maybe a half a foot to 10 inches, you can see them standing in it. Theyve also got these pads on the water. When this flooding happened, there was a lot of oil in the water, in the standing water here because of all the cars in the parking lot here that had been flooded, so they brought out these pads to soak up the oil, and the remainder of the water is being pumped out into the sewer system, so redwood city public works crews have been out here all morning. Theyre trying to get rid of this excess flood water from thursdays storm, and theyre making quick work of it. You always wonder how people are hanging in there when theyre waiting for all that water and cleaning to be done. Reporter most of the residents we talked to say they are somewhat used to this. They said ten years ago there was a similar situation with a lot of flooding, and a couple of the people we talked to said ten years ago after that last time that there was severe flooding, a lot of people raised their mobile homes up a little bit. A lot of the people we talked to said even though the water levels got really high, mostly its carpet and flooring in some of the homes that were damaged and people say, you know, were just going to have to take the time to repair and replace all of that, were doing okay. Sounds a lot like the folks living along the Russian River. You learn from past experiences. Allie rasmus live in redwood city, thank you. Our time now is 9 10 and today as san jose firefighters family will say goodbye to one of its own. Darrell wheaton passed away unexpectedly on thanksgiving morning. This week i spoke to some of his fellow firefighters about their loss. From the outside station 35 looks like it always has, and yet nothing is the same. Its just unfair. There is a void. For me i dont even know if its hit me yet. And a pain. Everything i look around here just reminds me of him. This was home for 50year old captain weeden. And weeden always told them the same thing. The motto he always used around the firehouse and with his family is i got this. Hes the kind of guy that i got this. What they dont get is how to go on without him. There was a 911 call to the neighborhood. That call came on thanksgiving from weedens home. He had gone to bed the night before and never woke up. We all got there and just held each other and held his kids, held his wife, and it just it it just doesnt seem real. Weeden grew up in san jose and served as an army ranger. He was a husband and father of four. He sewed all his kids Halloween Costumes since they were little. Now his friends say they ask themselves a single question. How would darrell handle this, and hed be stepping up. They will do that by finishing what he started. It was wellknown that weeden was building a dream house for his family, all by himself. There is still a lot of work to be done, but firefighters say it will get done. Finish his home for him, finish his legacy. From the outside, things look the same. I dont know what were going to do. Look closer and you will see the void where his turnouts should still hang, where his mail should still sit. The captains chair he should still fill. We all try to be that guy, including myself, but im not. But he always told them i got this. Thanks for what youve taught us. And as they mourn his loss. Well be all right. Well take care of us here. Well take care of each other and well take care of your family. They also make a promise. We got this. Well take care of each other. From one brother to another. Youre never going to be replaced. There is going to be a service held this afternoon. The firefighters have also started a go fund me account to try to help finish the familys house. The bond is strong there, the firefighter bond. It was tough, you know, they said to me you know what were fixers and we want to fix things and we cant fix this. It just breaks your heart. Thanks for that report. The holidays are a time for telling people you appreciate them, but when it comes to tipping certain people, who do you hand over cash to and how much is appropriate. Up next a familiar face at ktvu with some tips on holiday tipping. And the recent storm did cause a lot of problems in the bay area but check out these pictures if you love to ski and snow board, you arent complaining. And long time ktvu viewers will recognize the man sitting next to me. Its our own brian band miller. When i first started here, i sat down next to you and you said i could stay as long as i paid agrees fees [ laughter ] speaking of pay i guess im all about money. I told a couple of people i was coming in here to do this story for your producer, and jack mcdermott, a buddy of my mine, i said would tip would you give, be generous. Okay. Jack be generous. The point is you cant be that generous. Take care of the people that took care of you all yearlong and dont over do it because you shouldnt. If you dont have enough money, just give them a card and say things have been tight this year. The worst you can do is not say thank you. Were going to take people through how you tip, who you should tip, what you tip. Its important. Everyones thinking about it and in the next week or so when you start seeing these folks in your life, this is when you should start. Unless theyre putting their hand out saying. We got it on the screen. Who should you tip. The people that help with dependents, for instance, youve got a nanny or a baby sitter. Now a babysitter is simple. If she does it once or twice a month, give her 20 to 60 for the year. If you have a nanny whos there every week, give her a weeks worth. A weeks worth. One of the rules of thumb is if somebodys doing something every week give them a weeks worth of pay. And then personal service so people who cut your hair, massage therapists, trainers. Give them a one time if you go every month give the hairdresser one months worth of tips. Fortune magazine says dont tip the owner. I think if you have a nice relationship with the owner you can give them a bottle of wine. Everybody loves to have a bottle of wine. Just something to let them know that. That you care. That you appreciate them. Be nice to you for the rest of the year. You dont want to just be nice, you want them to be nice to you all yearlong. And then of course you have your housekeeper and doorman and gardner. How much. Because you want to give them something thats appropriate, you dont want to break the bank when you got a lot of people youre talking about. You know, caregivers, one weeks salary, personal services, the cost of one session, Home Maintenance varies by person. When i say Home Maintenance, for instance on the maintenance side, if a guy comes in and its thanksgiving and he comes in on thanksgiving dinner to take care of your toilet because it overflowed youd give him more money. When you give money, dont just hand them a check or give them cash, how about putting the cash in a little box like its a box of candy, and roll up in 10s and 5s and a couple of pennys. They think theyre getting candy and actually theyre getting money. Its kind of a gimmick to make it more creative. And make it look like you took time with it. Precisely. And this is important too, who doesnt need a tip. Theres people we give stuff to like our kids teachers. I wouldnt give my kids teacher cash. Mail carriers are prohibited from taking money. They do though. Ill get to that. Garbage collectors, the same way theyre appointed by the city. Teachers doctors and lawyers, teachers are also prohibited. Doctors and lawyers, you know, youre better off giving them a bottle of wine or giving them a gift or a nice card than cash. Its kind of its tacky to give your doctor, you know, cash. It seems ridiculous. But if you want to, again, you have to be creative about this, but i have a funny way where i deal with my garbage collector guy. I take a case of beer thats filled and i put it on top of the dipsy dumpster. Every year its gone when i get out there. And hes not saying my county wont let me take it. Its things like that that you maybe do or again, i get back to a bottle of wine because we love wine in the bay area. Ive been amazed over the number of years, no matter how much money somebody makes if you give them a nice bottle of wine, it doesnt have to be opus1, theres a bond there somewhere. I think absent saying what am i going to do, do Something Like that. One final thing, when i was leaving the house, my wife said what about me. I take care of you all year. You better go big. I havent figured that out yet. Nice so see you. Good to see you. There are your tips for the Holiday Season mike. Claudine, brian thank you very much. Those scattered high clouds will approach the region for tomorrow, later on today. No raindrops expected. Most of your weekend is dry. By sunday night into monday we do wring bring in, bump up those rain chances as the cold front moves onshore. Today its cold out here right now, and not too much of a recovery this afternoon. Some morning fog, skies becoming partly cloudy. Temperatures will be in the 50s. San francisco 58, san jose in the upper 50s and antioch 55 degrees. The cold air is actually what moved the strong storm to the south of the bay area, the one we were tracking thursday. And you can feel that crisp in the air right now, but at least today lots of sunshine here in oakland. Were on sunshine for the rest of the bay area later on today. Well update the fiveday forecast in a few minutes. If you want i can bring your shades. I can run to your car real quick. I can definitely use them. Thanks mark. This morning we have been following a crew thats trying to pump out the water that flooded a couple of Mobile Home Parks in san mateo county. Some residents were ordered to evacuate because of the storm damage. Allie rasmus joining us live from redwood city with an update on the relief work being done there. A lot of sunshine here as you can see but its a very different story than what it was just a couple weeks ago. On thursday the worst of the storm, this parking lot was completely inundated with water. Residents say they were wading in it. It was waist high. Were going to show you why in just a second. I want to show you some of the damage over here. Were taking a look at this fence on the eastern edge of this rc Mobile Home Park. According to some of the work crews out here, on thursday during the worst of the flooding, somebody dug out this mud berm hoping that all the water that was in the parking lot would flow out into the canal right next to it. Instead the reverse happened. The canal waters were so high that more water from the canal ended up flowing right into the parking lot inundating this Mobile Home Park. Residents this morning are finally getting relief thanks to these redwood city public works crews who have come in with a pump. They are pumping out whats left of the flood water out into the sewer system. You can see those little white things on top of the water. Those are pads theyve used to soak up some of the oil that was from all the flooded cars in this parking lot still in this water. Now, again, lets show you some video from early this morning. These public works crews got here around 7 30 and started pumping the water right away. A lot of the flooding problems here at this Mobile Home Park have to do with where it is located. Its right next to that canal that we were showing you. And right next to that are some salt ponds and then east of that is the bay. So flooding is not uncommon according to the residents here, but the residents say it was the worst it has been in about ten years a couple days ago. On thursday redwood city firefighters helped about 50 people evacuate this Mobile Home Park and the one next door. Firefighters had recommended that everyone, about 200 homes leave the area as a precaution, but not everyone heeded that warning. Not everyone want today leave, so were out here again yesterday advising them that we may have some contaminated water and what possible Health Concerns those are. We asked them if they wanted to leave we were providing shelter for them. Reporter the fire battalion chief says because there is more rain on the way, he would like residents living here to consider moving out and going to a shelter because back out here live, as you can see theyve got this flood water under control now. Theyve pumped most of it out, but with more rain on the way it could be more of an issue for folks living here over the next couple of days. Well have to wait and see what happens. Mike and claudine back to you. Thanks allie. Thanks for that live report. It could be a very long week. That storm that pounded the bay area also causing problems in Southern California. Check it out, mud slides buried more than a dozen homes in the city of cam rio. A when all this rain came, the hillss just gave way. Rain was falling about 2 inches an hour there. Were still in a state of shock here, you know. Our friend and neighbors, you know, many people have lost a lot. Rocks debris and Everything Else is just shooting right out into the street. Those pictures are something. Some parts of Southern California received a half a foot of rain with 90 Miles Per Hour wind gusts. At one point 50,000 people were without power. Back north theres no word on when or even if a Safeway Store in san jose heavily damaged by the storm will reopen. Two gaping holes on the roof. The building has been red tagged while neighboring businesses were evacuated as a precaution. Workers and customers were inside the safeway before part of that roof crashed down. One person did suffer minor injuries. Two san jose parks are expected to reopen today after being closed because of the storm. Mud slides forced officials to close alum rock park. Crews counted a dozen slides. Storm damage including several downed trees also forced a closure of nearby cunningham regional park. Happening today, there are more demonstrations in San Francisco and the east bay to stand in solidarity with ferguson missouri and new york city. A santa clara woman says a secret santa is making christmas possible for her family this year. That secret santa showed up to the toysrus on south winchester in san jose, and gave the woman right there a chance to grant her 8yearold daughters wish list. Beonky was only able to put 20 towards those items which cost a total of 200. The store called beonky with the good news yesterday. Hi this is veronica from the toysrus of winchester. Just to let you know we have an anonymous guest come in and pay off your lay away, so when youre ready we actually have your lay away ready for pickup. So awesome. What a nice call to get, right. The store told her the secret santa wants to remain anonymous, so she told us how grateful she was. I just want to say thank you so much for making our christmas the best christmas ive ever had. So hopefully her secret santa hears that message. She actually, or he showed up just in time. Toysrus says all lay away accounts not paid off by yesterday were canceled. We live in the country with horses and everything and hes just really loyal and he just kid puts him in the starting gate. Gets him all excited. Tell me how this works. Tell me how the starting gate works. Hes supposed to be fast, hes supposed to be accurate . What is he supposed to do to win . Sometimes like ill have him facing the front, and then theyll just like say go because like since hes like real loyal, i can just say go get mommy, go get mommy and then hell just take off going really fast. Yeah. In a Straight Line . Yeah. Yeah. Sometimes he waddles. We have video of him. What makes him a champion . Like what makes him better than all the other dogs hes competing against . So in the race they have to stay within the lines and you have to pass the finish line, but you have to return within the boundaries of the race line. So we have to have him cross the line and make sure that he actually comes straight. Okay. And does he do it every single time or does he have some . Last year we were the second loser. This year we actually won. The second loser . Yeah, he was second place at the warriors game last november. Second winner. We heard it on the radio, and its kind of like weaner dog race. And then we get to go to the holiday bowl football game. That sounds like fun. Thanks for coming in. Hey wally. Thanks buddy. You look like youre ready for a nap now. Hes tired. Weve worn him out. Mark what do you think of this guy . Hes very very cute. Very mellow right there, but just seeing the imagery on the roof is very fast as well. I guess if you say go to mommy, that will all accelerate. Thats a good line. Heres our camera looking out towards walnut creek. You might be waking up with clear skies, and lots of sunshine.
