They already raised 4 million. It may seem like a lot of money. It can seem like a battle for those with Breast Cancer. I had access to amazing doctors and it is great to know. This is the 12th annual avon walk for Breast Cancer. Organizers say after day one, this he have raised four million dollars. Much of the money will support women battling cancer in the bay area. There are some thousands of people walking the 12th annual avon walk for Breast Cancer. Today they are making their way from coramatara to San Francisco and many camped overnight. We have been speaking with survivors and those have lost loved ones. One woman began to walk after losing her 57yearold sister. I began to do whatever i could do to eradicate the disease. I didnt do it the first year because that was her memorial service. Martha joined the avon walk the following year and she said she will fund raise until she cant walk anymore and her second sister also battled Breast Cancer. She has raised 125,000. There has been four million raised so far this this walk and people say that San Francisco is one of the best fundraisers because even if people cant donate, they line the route and they support these walkers. That is something that you can do if you are unable to donate, there is still time to make donations if you can but along the route, people are festive and people are excited and closing ceremonies will be in San Francisco today from noon to two. Officials have been testing the weekend closures of two blocks of lombar streets in response of traffic from homeowners. Taxis are allowed to drive there during the closure.
