The alert was triggered by a reported carjacking and kidnapping outside of an oakland Safeway Store on tuesday. Were looking at all three people who wily a woman. Were looking at all three people for committing crimes. What those crimes are we dont know. Now, Oakland Police are defending the decision, tori. The question and concern should not be about fatigue. I think the concern should be about being a community member, bringing your loved one home safe. Imagine if you are a parent, you would want to bring your child home as quickly as possible. The Highway Patrol says the has the final say on when and where to trigger an amber alert. But advocates for missing children disagree saying its resulted in the rescue or safe return of more than 250 chirp. The question and concern should not be about fatigue.
