Other fans said they wouldnt miss this event because its their best chance to meet and talk to their heroes of the San Francisco giants. We came at 5 00 and we were all the way far away. We come earlier every year, and the earlier we come, the better for us. We get more done. Its been a lot of fun, like i said weve been listening to news, talking baseball, talking about the season. That thing you heard from was, came to denver, colorado. He flew to San Francisco to be at fan fest. There is always a huge turnout at this event. Fan fest starts at 10 00 this morning. New this Morning Police are crediting arrest Security Guard with catching a suspected gunman at a bar in freemont. It happened after 1 00 this morning at the doorway unnails boulevard. Its not clear what led to the shooting. The guard at the bar helped get the shooter behind bars. Its a Security Guard that detained our suspects. Officers took him into custody. We recovered a weapon. They taped off the bar, no one was hurt in the shoot and shooting and the discuss name has not been released. The bar has been open for a few years and there have not been any recent problems. Unprecedented action has been taken. 0 for water allocation. It will not deliver water to 29 agencies that depend on the Water Project. They include parts of napa alamada and santa clara counties. Most of the reservoirs are well below their average this time of year. Overall storage is the lowest weve seen since the 1970s. This drop of water deliveries has never happened before in the 54 history. Communities will have to rely on stored water, groundwater and push for more conservation. The state will reevaluate the situation each month. Water will only be exported in case of an imminent threat to health and safety. It delivers water to 25 million californiaians statewide. The hardest hit is the agency that gets 08 from the zone project. It serves 200,000 people in dublin and livermore and san ramon. Also the alamada district, it gets 40 of its water from the state. It affects about 10,000 households. People and merchants say theyre reducing the amount of water they use. One livermore said she might stop setting water in front of customers unless they ask for it. The owner of a wine bar said vintners are concerned about it this year. The two most recent deaths were in Santa Clara County. It brings the deaths to 10. The victims were both men with underlying medical conditions. State Health Officials have increased their count for flew related deaths. It brings the total to 147. This years total is already higher than last year and does not include an additional 44 cases that are still being investigated. Last years flu season claimed the lives of 146 people. A shooting of a woman this weekend have a group of neighbors considering private security. Theyre going to drum up support for hiring security to patrol the neighborhood. They need 100 households to spend 30 for a security. Theyre searching for four people in connection with they are shooting. Bart trains, they lost power causing arrest bart pilot to keep the anchor from drifting. It fell from the tube, and power was restored. The roads were too icy to drive on and they abandoned their vehicles and began walking. 2,000 cars were left on streets and free ways. The state called in Tow Companies to move them to the side of the road or tow them away. The companies were told not to charge the owners of the vehicles. This man is accused of stealing some of the cars abandoned in the snow. He was acting as a tow truck driver, and he was in the process of stealing his fourth vehicle when police spotted. The tow truck he was in was also stolen. 7 16 today a bay area woman takes over the Federal Reserve. Janet yellen is the first ever to lead the fed, shes the first woman to lead the fed. She has been the advice chair of the fed for four years. She was the president of the Federal Reserve bank of San Francisco. First lady can help democrats take back the senate and take back the house. She wrapped up her visit by speaking at a womans luncheon with House Minority leader nancy pelosi. There were tickets to be the vip reception ranging from 500,000 to 240,000 per couple. She is one of the most popular draws for people in california and maybe around the country. The flames sparked out at 6 15 last night in the bay view neighborhood at a home. The flames spread to two neighboring homes, one was damaged significantly, the other only had minor damage. The cause of that fire is not known and no one was hurt. Investigators say theyre calling a grass fire that burned near a Marin County High School suspicious. It started around the high school and the two alarm fire burned about 8 acres and took an hour for firefighters to put it out. The High School Officials said the campus was never threatened by the fire and no evacuations were necessary. A fire that destroyed a house yesterday morning was set by a woman who lived there. Investigators say neighbors reported seeing 41yearold woman outside of the garage just started the fire. Police say she was burned and had to be treated for nonlife threatening injuries. Two other people who were inside the home managed to get out safely. Theyre warning people about a spike in car theft. Theres been an increase in thefts over the past few months. They dont seem to be targeting any specific area. Theyre reminding people to lock their cars and park in well literary i cant say. Theyre looking for men in these surveillance videos. New this morning, police say it was a Security Guard who caught a gunman at a bar in freemont. Its not clear what led up to that shooting, but a guard helped get him into custody. It was a Security Guard who detained our suspect. Weve recovered a weapon. They took him into custody. They interviewed witnesses, no one was injured in this shooting. The bar has been open for years and there has not been any recent problems. Account drought in california has been bad and theyve taken unprecedented action. It will not deliver to counties. Theres little water in the states rivers and reservoirs. Most of californias reservoirs are lower than average this time of year. Its the lowest weve seen since the 1970s. The stopping of water deliveries deliveries have not happened before in the states history. Theyll reevaluate the decision every month. For now, water will own be exported in the case of an imminent threat to health and safety. The States Project delivers water nationwide. The hardest hit is district 7 zone 7. However, mandatory rationing is an option in the coming months. 34 deaths for flu, the two most recent deaths were in Santa Clara County. It brings the total deaths from flu to ten. They were both men with underlying medical conditions. State officials have increased their count for flu related deaths. 52 people have died bringing the total to 147. This years total is higher than last year and does not include an additional 44 cases that are still being investigated. Last years flu season claimed the lives of 106 people. The shooting of an 81year old woman has a group of neighbors considering hiring private security. They plan to go door to door for hiring security to patrol the neighborhood. They need 100 house told to spend 30 for extra security. This 81yearold was shot and killed tuesday during a Home Invasion robbery. Bart trains are crossing the bay this morning. It was headed to the port of oakland yesterday. It lost power. They dropped an anchor, that anchor fell from 1200 feet from the tube. It was contracted when it was near the ship. Bart suspended service so it could inspect the tube. [indiscernible]. The transbay tube runs below the bay, 135 feet below sea level. It has an exterior and a concrete liner to withstand earthquakes. Shots were fired at the el camino bar on niles boulevard. Still not clear what led up to the shooting. Police say guard at the bar helped get the gunman in custody. It was a Security Guard who helped detain him. Weve recovered a weapon. They taped off the bar interviewed witnesses. No one was injured in the shooting. The suspects name has not been released. Police say the bar has been open for a few years. No recent problems. A florida man is under arrest for charges of trying to Bring Marijuana on a plane at San Francisco International Airport. 32yearold mickey roy had 14 pounds of pot on his carryon luggage. Investigators say he told them he was paid to calf to to pick up the drug paid to travel to california to pick up the drugs and he was booked. Well, the shooting of an 81 yearold woman earlier this week in oakland has a group of neighbors considering security. Residents in the diamond district are going door to door to drum up security. 81yearold beverly was shot and injured on tuesday during a Home Invasion robbery. Police are searching for four people in connection with the shooting. B. A. R. T. Trains are crossing the bay following a scare with the transbay tube. A container ship headed to the port of oakland yesterday lost power. That prompted the bar pilot to drop an anchor to keep the vessel from drifting. The anchor fell 1200 feet from the tube. It was retracted a few minutes later. And then b. A. R. T. Was notified a couple of hours later. B. A. R. T. Suspended service for 30 mirnts so it could inspect the tube minutes so it could inspect the tube. Its our policy to notify fight. It was an extra safety measure we decided to take because of this incident. The transbay tube runs through a trench at the bottom of the bay. Its covered with gravel. Now, it does have a steel exterior with a fivefeet liner to help withstand earthquakes. Anchors occasionally damage outside of the tube and alarms go out. Fashioning recorddrought conditions, the state of california is taking unprecedented action. The state Water Project has reduced its water allocation to 0 . It will not deliver water to agencies that include napa, alameda and santa clara counties. Simply put theres very little water in the states rivers and rosier virus. Most of the reservoirs are well below their average for this time of year. Overall storage is the lowest weve seen since the 1970s. This top in water deliveries has never happened before. Officials say communities will have to rely on store water, ground water and push for more conservation. The state will reevaluate the situation each month. For now, water will only be exported in case of an inmy neent imminent threat. The hardest hit bay area is the zone 7 agency. They get as much as 80 of its water from the state Water Project. Zone 7 serves roughly 200,000 people in dublin, pleasanton, livermore and parts of san ramon. Also affected is the Alameda County district. Iter is gets it gets 40 of the water from the state. The santa clara Water District receives 1 of its supplies from the project that affects about 10,000 households. People and merchants say they are already reducing the amount of water they use. One livermore Restaurant Owner says beginning today she might stop serving water to customers unless they ask for it. The owner of a wine bar says theres pessimism. The Grape Growers are very concerned about lack of water and what it will do to the vintage. 2014 will be almost nil if we dont get rain. The Alameda County wurt district is asking consumers to voluntary conserve 20 . Officials are hoping for rain. Mandatory rationing is a possible option in the coming weeks and months. People say the roads were too icy to drive on. So they abandoned their vehicles and just began walking. That led to more than 2,000 cars and trucks left on streets and freeways. Yesterday, the state called in Tow Companies to move them to the side of the road or tow them. But those companies were told not to charge the owners of the vehicles. The tow company said they were told the state department of transportation would compensate them but now they are saying the state is telling them to go to the counties to get paid. The flames sparked up at 6 15 at a shoem on shafter avenue in the bayview neighborhood. A spokesman from the Fire Department said the flames spread to two neighboring homes. One was damaged significantly. The other had minor damage. The cause of the fire is no known. Investigators are calling a grass fire that burned near marin school yesterday suspicious. It started yesterday. The twoalarm fire burned about eight acres and took nearly an hour for firefighters to put out. Officials say the campus was never threatened by that fire and no evacuations were necessary. Police in santa clara say a fire that destroyed a house early yesterday morning was set by a woman who lives there. Investigators say neighbors reported seeing 41yearold outside of the garage after the fire started. Police say she was burned and had on treated for nonlife threatening injuries. Pittsburg police are warning people about a spike in stolen cars. Theyve noticed an increase in thefts in the past few months. Thieves dont appear to be targeting a specific areas. Police have been using license plate readers to catch the thieves. They are reminding people to lock their vehicles and park in welllit areas. Antioch Police Looking for these two men suspected of saling a surveillance camera from the antioch marina on december 29th. The photos were recorded around the time of the theft. If you recognize the men, Police Say Call them. Two more flurelated deaths have been confirmed by Health Officials. According to the tally, that makes 34 across nine bay area counties. The two most recent deaths were in Santa Clara County bringing the total number of flurelated deaths there to 10. The victims ages 43 and 54 were both men with underlying medical conditions. State Health Officials have increased their cost. The total number, 147. This years total is already higher than last year and does not include 44 cases that are still being investigated. The San Francisco Public Utilities commission has finalized a call asking help help chip customers to cut water asking hetch hetchy customers to water by 10 . Yesterday, the models had the system a little bit farther offshore and it looked like the rain was going to stay pretty much confined to the coastline. But now the models push it a little bit farther inland and because of that, you will notice the rain line moves farther inland. Let me show you here.
