They found a threatening message scrawled in the oily coating of their plane. Someone wrote the words bye bye and drew two faces, one that smiled and one that frowned. They wanted a security inspection of the plane and the airlines said no so the flight attendants refused to work on the flight and their schedule was canceled. We are looking forward to hearing more. California Health Officials have linked nine confirmed cases of measles to disney theme parks in Southern California. All nine measles patients were at disneyland or disney california adventure in anaheim between december 15th and december 20th. Three more people with suspected cases of measles also went to the parks during the same period. The patients are between 8 months and 21 years old. One is from alameda county. The Health Officials say measles can be contagious before and after you actually see a rash. It is one of those contagious diseases that is airborne. We say after an infectious person leaves the room it could be lingering for up to an hour or so after they leave. Six of the nine patients were not vaccinated, including two babies too young to get their first measles shots. Federal agents say the drug smuggling operation was discovered after a worker for enterprise car rental found a box filled with 45pounds of cocaine while cleaning out the trunk of a returned car. Two men matching the description of the brothers suspected of carrying out yesterdays attack robbed a gas station in northern france this morning. Police and helicopter recognition flying over the scene and helicopters are flying over the scene and surrounding areas. Today is a day of morning mourning. The country held a minute of silence for the People Killed yesterday. Some are still in the hospital and others are in critical condition. The bay area is offering condolences and set up a memorial. 200 people gathered for a vigil to stand in solidarity with the french people. Each of the flight attendants had at least 18 years of experience flying with United Airlines. They were fired for refusing to fly on a plane that had a message on it that they perceived at threatening. The message was found last july on a 747 set to depart from sfo to hong kong. The flight attendants took it to be menacing and felt it was a security threat. According to the safety and Health Administration the flight attendants refused to fly when united would not then conduct a security screening of the aircraft. The 13 flight attendants were fired for insubordination. United airlines is maintaining it investigated appropriately and determined there was no credible threat. A spokesperson said that pilots, mechanics and safety staff all deemed that the plane was safe to fly. You have a line to follow and a half inch to inch to play with. The workers say the new system will be a huge Safety Improvement reducing a lot of serious accidents on the bridge. Two car burglary suspects after the san mateyo Police Locked down a neighborhood overnight searching for them. Witnesses say two men running from the scene of a car burglary just before 7 30 last night on south fremont street. Witnesses reported one of the men appeared to be carrying a gun. Police closed off several blocks even told the person is identified as roger mitchell. The other suspects name not released was taken into custody several hours later. The red cross opened a relief shelter for people not able to go back to their homes because of the police search. Two rock climbers at yosemite continue to attempt something that has never been done. Kevin jurgensen of santa rosa and Tommy Caldwell of colorado are free climbing part of el capitan called the don wall. They dont use any climbing equipment. They only have a rope for safety. Jurgensen posted on instagram yesterday. Wow yes. He sent out an instagram saying he is at one of the toughest parts. Caldwell successfully completed the section on monday and is forging ahead.
