Most of them didnt see much because as soon as they heard the gunshots, they started running. Many to the back of the store. Police were zeroing in on a car here at the walmart parking lot. They were scouring it for evidence. We have pictures to show you here how they were looking inside with their flashlights and taking pictures of the car. We believe it may have belonged to one of the suspects. One of the suspects was in a neck brace. Taken away by an ambulance. It appears at this stage no one was shot. Security stopped two people at the front of the store for suspicion of shoplifting. A scuffle broke out. They heard at least a half a dozen gunshots. At first we thought it was someone popping big bags or something. We would have never thought it was gunshots until we heard people screaming and then we heard more gunshots. That is when we realized it was real. We havent heard back from San Leandro Police yet. Witnesses say the guard was unarmed and it was the suspect who fired the gun. We dont know how many guards were involved in this struggle. But typically walmart has a male and female. Luckily no one else was hurt. Police did take the suspect into custody. Happening now San Leandro Police are investigating a shooting inside a walmart store. It happened at the store on davis street just before midnight. Witnesses say two min were shoplifting when they were approached by security. They started fighting and that is when witnesses say they heard at least six shots fired. I was in the back just shopping. Being helped by one of the workers and we heard the gunshots and people screaming. Westwarded heading toward the back. We ended up in the back room. One of the suspects was injured and taken away in an ambulance. Its not clear if he was shot. The other was put in the back of a police car. No customers were hut. Shortly after hearing gunshots, a fire alarm was pulled and everyone ran to the back of the store. We have new information now about a fire at a walnut creek wine Storage Facility last night. Police say they arrested 49 yearold Arthur Holden for arson, commercial burglary. It happened about 9 30 last night. They made the arrests after reviewing Surveillance Video from a nearby business and recognizing arthur as a homeless pen. Police say they Found Property that had been stolen from the wine storage unit in the area where holden was found. Time is 5 32. The 49ers are aware of this attack and a spokesperson told us that they are fully cooperating with the Santa Claire Ram police and supporting the investigation. We are told the assault happened before the 1 25 kick off time between the 49ers and kansas city chiefs. Two men were in the bathroom on the north side of the stadium when they were attacked by two other men. Its unclear if there were many witnesses to it. But these two victims were taken to the hospital for treatment. Police have not released the extent of their injuries. Police arrested the two suspects minutes after the assault took place and they were booked into the county jail. Investigators are look into what led up to the assault. It happened on east 14th near haas and wood lawn avenue. It all started when an officer tried to pull over a man for reckless driving. He led the officer on a chase before drive into a culdesac and ramming the officers car. This is a nice area. People do a lot of walking here. Its surprising. The officer has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation. If you have any information, you are asked to call San Leandro Police. Enter king fire has burned more than 90 some acres. It is 98 contained. Full containment by wednesday. 12 homes and 68 other buildings have burned since that fire started three weeks ago.
