continuing to follow the wildfires, at least one home has been destroyed in the community of clear lake oaks. so far the fire has burned 6,000 acres and it is 2 5% contained and cal fire hopes to have full containment by next week. alameda and contra coster sent firefighters to fight them, each with 22 firefighters and one team was sent from contra coster county and in total, 6 bay area teams are broad daylight. lorraine blanco joins us to explain what the city is doing to address this problem, lorraine? >> reporter: good morning, mayor chuck reid and several officials are set to meet here in a news conference to combat gang violence considering a very unusual day of violence yesterday. a man was rushed to the hospital following a driveby shooting yesterday afternoon. witnesses say he was standing in front of his house when a car drove by and fired several rounds. it happened five miles from another shooting that happened a couple of hours earlier. >> it is very, very scary and yes, i am worried about my neighborhood and the whole city. >> reporter: the earlier shooting happened on charles street, a man in his 30s was killed while sitting in his car. police are looking for the shooters in both those cases. the news conference will take place at 12:45, they are taking place on the national forum and the new program is geared towards stopping violence on a national level. and this happened before all the reporting, lore rang blanco -- lorraine blanco ktvu channel 2 morning news. a woman was stabbed to death with a samaria sword. it happened at the wall greens and witnesses say the woman was a well-known homeless woman who frequented the area. >> she is a nice lathe lady and -- nice lady but i don't know why anybody would do that to her. >> the woman got into a fight with a customer across the street from the wall greens earlier in the day. and after removing occupied protesters overnight, live with what protesters are doing and what is next for the building, tara? >> reporter: well, police will be guarding the building, they will be here for the next 48 hours and if you take a look, you can see it is boarded up. dozens of squad cars were here and they told protesters to leave within 15 minutes or they would be arrested. everybody complied and they went to the area off miller avenue for a decade. >> we want to lead this into the hands of community,
