Team moved in here and they finally cleared that building. The police were initially called after 3 00 this morning after a man was shot and wounded inside the place. At least a dozen people were taken out of the building with their hands up. Over the next few hours, two people were taken into custody. The police say they also found a shotgun and a replica handgun inside this particular building. It is unclear exactly what led up to the shooting, although, again, we did talk with several neighbors, including one man who told me he comes here to this building to gamble quite often. He says there are quite a few slot machines inside. Just a warehouse with the machines, thats it. Six machines. And they have machines. With an active scene were gathering all kinds of information so we cant specifically pinpoint what the cause or the reason for this incident happened. It was really difficult all the time. It drew a lot of energy on me just trying to focus on my breathing. Go out and get some fresh air. Reporter the same focus, drive and determination that helped jake succeed on the football field is now helping him fight the infections that invade his body. He is now off the feeding tube, breathing on his own and moving around in his electric wheelchair for several hours a day. I have to do a weight shift every once in a while. How often do you need to do it . Every hour. For how long . At least a minute. Reporter and in the past couple of weeks, jake has started to show improvement in his upper body strength, gaining some movement in different parts of his arms. The important one that i have back is the wrist because thats how im able to grab things. So moving forward im going to have to learn how to live my life just flexing my wrist and it brings my finger and thumb together. He hasnt cried since. He hasnt complained since. He hasnt said why me. He hasnt acted sad. He has just been very stoic and focused, like the athlete that he is. Absolutely focused on what needs to be done next. Some of the best advice i have gotten, you have good days and you have bad days. You have to take it as it is and move forward. Jo a 3yearold girl in nevada showed appreciation for a police officer. Fer rowa set autopsy Lemonade Stand right outside of the courthouse and she is raising money for the families of the three Police Officers killed in baton rouge, louisiana. She put up a sign that said police, free. Others, donations. The Police Officers say theyre touched by the gesture, especially from such a young girl. The Lemonade Stand raised more than 1,300 in one day. A waitress in missouri is going public with a big thank you for two Police Officers. She was at the end of a long shift when two women walked out without paying their bill. The waitress ran after them crying and two Police Officers saw her and they stopped the waitress to find out what the problem was. Those officers then went looking for the women but came back 10 minutes liters and she was surprised but what by what they had to say. And we want to pay for it. And i am tearing up again. It caught me off guard. I thought it was really, really generous thing to do. It makes more of a difference. It may have been 40 to a lot of people, but that is a lot of money to me. The officers also included a tip for the way stress. She hears about a lot of bad things going on and she just wanted to remind people to be kind to one another.
