He has spearheaded many of those he was in the past. He has led the Reform Efforts again to deal with issues of bias, Excessive Force that the department is facing. He was the guy who, when i spoke with him one on one just last week, again, he felt as though he was going to be here and he was going to be able to carry out the series of reforms and make the changes necessary here to get this department on the right track. He wanted to finish that job and obviously with the events that took place yesterday, the woman being shot and killed by a Police Officer, it seems as though the mayors hand clearly was force five years as chief during that time, 21 officer involved shootings, three in the last six months.
