Fremont police say they have strong evidence that suggests the torso of a woman found in the bay is that of 57yearold shelby titchener of brisbane. She was reported missing february 15. Sunday the dismembered torso was discovered near the dumbarton bridge. Police say they found other evidence, including additional body parts, in the area. It showed a possible link. It showed a strong possibility that she was that it could be her. We would never go out with a formal press release or anything else without feeling fairly confident that were headed in that right direction. Fremont police notified Brisbane Police about the possible language link in the case on tuesday. Later that day tichenors husband committed suicide by jumping a off the bridge. They are going to compare dna to see if there is a positive confirmation. That could take a couple of weeks. In Hayward Police say a 23yearold man has been charged with killing a young mother of two. He was arrested for stacey aguilar. She was last seen early in the morning valentines day leaving a party with her boyfriend. Police have not said if ped rosa was her boyfriend. Her body was found in the Fremont Hills with several gunshot wounds. She leaves behind a sevenyearold son and fiveyearold kaur. 2002 high schools in the peninsula have beefed up security following potential dangers to students as well as staff. South of San Francisco police and the School District sent out an alert to parents of el camino and south San FranciscoHigh School Students after receiving an anonymous letter that expressed concern about possible threats at either campus. So far there have been no reports of any problems, but some parents were so frightened they did keep their students at home. Although the validity of the threat has not been confirmed, this information is deemed kiss emanated to the community in order to heighten awareness of suspicious activity at either campus. They say the college of ethnic studies would lose about 40 of its operating bombed half of is teachers because reserve money that helped fund the college in recent years has been depleted. News came out after Department Chairs had lectures that left money for the college could result in cuts to classes. Right now our Department Latino and latino studies 125 enrollment. That means every one of our classes was over capacity. And to cut 40 of our classes, you can imagine the chaos that would cause. Regards and he says there is no plan to reduce the Budget Allocation for any college next year. He did say, however, that this was good and healthy for students it to be voicing what they want. Here at home we are now learning more details about an incident that led to the ref of one Oakland Police officer and three others being placed on administrative leave. This happened december 7. Officer cullen faith they say was drink being other offduty officers at a bar. When they decided to go it a home nearby faith and another officer showed up at the long house. Faith allegedly attacked a woman who turned out to be an Alameda County probation officer and demanded to go inside her home. I came back out and i saw some of the neighbors there and they were assisting and i heard him using vulgar language towards the neighbors that came out and was telling her to shut up, get away from me. Faith was arrested on suspicion of assault and public intoxication. No formal charges have been filed. The woman and her attorney filed a claim accusing Oakland Police of covering up the incident.
