Officers went there to check the welfare of the mother because the parents had been involved in a conversation or texting disputes back and forth and officers were able to make contact with all the parties involved. Reporter the next day was fathers day and he had both children and cussed me. We are learning that he called Child Protective Services at 4 40 5 pm to complain about his wifes converted garage. It was primarily a complaint about the wife and the Living Conditions in the house that she currently occupies. There was no indication whatsoever that he was a danger to himself or a danger to the children or a danger to anybody. Reporter the next call came in three hours later from the mother to notify a to notify authorities. That prompted deputies to go to his door but they got no response. Into the wee hours of the morning on monday, the mother called police at two deck 40, 7 00 and 90 am concerned about her children. A deputy with back to the Fathers House and that is when the bodies were discovered. The mother released the painful statements saying, i sought help on numerous occasions and said many times that my children were in danger in their fathers care and i did not receive the urgent help i needed to save them. Signed, a mother no longer able to hold her children. Reporter i spoke with Santa Rosa Police about that statement from the mother and they do not wish to comment on the statement but they tell me they are going through all of their calls with communication with the family and maintain the was no indication that the father was going to hurt himself or the family. In the meantime, police are saying there was no physical signs of trauma on the children leading them to believe there was no signs of shootings or stabbings but they will determine tomorrow in the autopsies.
