When we think of drug users, we think of people hanging out in the street shooting up, Homeless People and that kind of thing. When we are talking about opioid abusers, what kind of people are we talking about . It runs across all kinds of people, people are prescribed them are and that risk and it touches People Living on the street. Week focus on in judd we focus on injection users and we see a lot of Homeless People but we provide services to people who are accessing their drugs and primary care. I cant get over its the leading cause of death for people under 50. Yes and thats a recent statistic. Is there anything positive here . There is an increased awareness in the media. There is increased access to drugs like naloxone. My project is in response to the overdose expansions. We have saved 174 lives who have used the dog to safe a life. Is that drug hard to access . People have financial barriers and thats positive change. People see what drug users and Harm ReductionService Providers have been doing are working. Those services are being funded.
