Water officials want to see how the damaged spillway handles the flow of water because snowmelt is causing the reservoir to philip they plan to keep the floodgates open for another five days or so as long as the damaged spillway can withstand the pressure. We have also gone to extreme efforts to basically cleanout and caulk every crack we could find, the idea is to ensure we dont have additional water moving through the deck that might further compromise the system.
