Healing can be done in a clean, dry, dignified space. Trying to do a dressing change on the street is almost impossible. She is working to find ways to keep the encampments clean and safe and also trying to form a working partnership with the Citys Department of homelessness, public works, and police. Everyone can Work Together to create the rules that will be better for residents here and for the surrounding community and the city service workers. Nearby businesses say problems have increased the cause of the encampment. The city recently issued a notice informing the people there they may have to leave by january 10.
