Formally filing charges against seven former or current Bay Area Police officers. She says her client has been victimized by officers from seven Law Enforcement agencies. As we return to the bay area we intend to hold everyone accountable. Price says her client should not be in drubbing rehab. She is not a drug addict. She is a child victim of sexual trauma and child sex trafficking. The Attorney Says Richmond Police helped bring her to florida under false pretenses, an allegation the department denies. She is a witness to criminal activity, a criminal conspiracy in the bay area. There is no reason or rhyme at all for why she is here in stuart, florida. She plans to go back to school and become a veterinarian. Whether or not someone gave her a dollar or a dime is irrelevant. The fact that she is alive today sameer cal. Now, i reached out to the Alameda County d. A. All her office would say is they will let us know when charges against those officers are formally filed. Her attorney saying that the Police Officers were involved in the sex trafficking of jasmine . Yeah, thats what pamela price is saying. I did reach out to her to see if she could expand on those remarks because at this point we dont know of any other alleged victims that may have been trafficked by these same Police Officers. At this point has anyone said why she was sent all the way to florida for rehab . Were still getting conflicting information. Richmond police say they have no control over where rehab victims or candidates go. Jasmines attorney is saying there was no reason at all for her to be sent out of state. The older man, the taller man with her was her father. Did either her or her father say anything today . Neither jasmine nor her father spoke. I know her father was sitting in court as she entered that no contest plea to battery. New developments today on the health of two major candidates for president. Hillary clinton released a doctors letter about her recent bout of pneumonia as donald trump offered details about his health. Ted rowlands joins us with what were learning. Ted. This afternoon Hillary Clintons personal doctor said clinton is, quote, fit to serve as president of the United States after suffering, quote, mild but non contagious bacterial pneumonia. The letter says the former secretary of state went to see her 12 days ago with a fever, congestion, and fatigue last friday. Clinton was diagnosed with pneumonia. However, the campaign only revealed the diagnosis on sunday after video showed clinton stumbling into a van. Doctors also detail clintons Blood Pressure and cholesterol within healthy ranges. Meanwhile donald trump sat down with dr. Oz. The show released one clip apparently showing trump releasing his own records. If your health is as strong as it seems, why not share your medical records . Why not well, i have really no proin doing it. I have it right here. Should i do it . I dont care. Should i do it . I have no problem. Its two letters. One is the report, and the other is from lennox hill hospital. May i see them . Yeah, sure. These are reports . Those were all the tests done last week. Its not clear how much detail those records contain. People in the audience said that dr. Oz reportedly said that trump weighed about 236 pounds. It also showed that trump takes statin to lower his close tear radio. You can watch donald trump on dr. Oz tomorrow at 1 00 p. M. Hillary clinton is also set to return to the campaign trail tomorrow. And ted, are you hearing any other details coming out from dr. Oz . Twcialtion show is obviously trying to keep a lid on it so people watch tomorrow, using it as a tease, but audience members have told reporters that dr. Oz recommended that dr. Trump should lose 15 to 20 pounds. And the Clinton Campaign released a far more detailed look at Hillary Clintons health. What else did we learn about that . The doctors letter revealed that clinton takes a blood thinner and a thyroid medication. She had a normal mammogram. The doctor also provided results of a number of other common lab tests. All in all in something health. Ted rowlands in our newsroom tonight. Joining us now is ktvu political analyst brian sobel. What did you think about donald trump going on dr. Oz and releasing that report . It also seemed so staged to me with dr. Oz and donald trump both pretending this was all spontaneous. Why cant he just come out with his records and let reporters and doctors examine them . Its a good question, frank. I just dont understand this lack of transparency on both sides of the aisle, as it were, both the republican candidate and the democratic candidate. It makes no sense. These are almost nonstarters. Every time they do this kind of thing it feeds into that media cycle and frankly some of this, actually in hillarys case, affecting her polling. Lets talk about clinton for a second. How big an issue was health for her . She has released some information about her health. She did so today. There have been a lot of questions raised especially after she came down with pneumonia then said she didnt think it was important to tell reporters about it. How much could this hurt her, and would the release of the information put some of the questions to rest . Shes add very bad couple of dance in National Polling and state by state poll which is we always talk about being of pair mount importance. And so this health issue is important. And instead of really coming out being transparent and saying, by the way, we have had lots of president s in American History that have had Health Issues they had to overcome like all americans this idea of hiding it feeds into both the trump narrative about her transparency but also what she has been battling against which is that people think she is not trust worthy. And brian stay with us for a minute. I want to share a couple of new polls. Nationally trump has cut a 10 point deficit to just five points over the last month. In a couple of key swing states trump is leading. A bloom wearing poll of ohio has trump ahead by five and he has the same fivepoint lead in the if the Third Party Candidates are included. And in florida a cnn orc poll has trump ahead 47 to 44 among likely voters. That is within the polls margin of error. So brian what do you make of these latest poll numbers . Start with the national poll, then well talk about the swing states. Two things to consider. One, at this point in the campaign where we are getting very, very close and fairly close to the first debate, the bottom line is that these polls are going to tighten, and based on events are going to, like an accordion, expand and contract. I would caution people against making too much of the polling except when you watch a trend, and if theres a trend, say around a medical issue or that sort of thing, that becomes of greater interest because some of these stories will be carried all the way through to the election. And in the case of Hillary Clinton she has to overcome it. Thats on the national basis, julie. And if you take it on a state by state basis where the races are really going to occur, then her camp has a right to be concerned because her numbers are slipping a little bit. What do you think is attributed to those slipping numbers as that race tightens . Do you think over the last couple of days it has had a lot to do with Health Concerns . Yes, i think her Health Concerns. I think all of the other issues that she has been just dragging along, you know, are affecting people at this point. And we are going to see more of that i think as time goes on. So i know, i am guessing, anyway, that she is very, very eager to get back on the campaign trail. And remember, trump has had these kind of weeks, too. We will leave that as the last point. We will have much more coming up in the 6 00 hour. Absolutely. Newly leaked emails hacked from the account of former secretary of state colin powell reveal some of his thoughts. The retired general unloaded on donald trump saying he is, quote, a National Disgrace and an international pariah. The emails said of trump, quote, he is at 1 black voters and will drop. He takes us for idiots. He can never overcome what he tried to do to obama with his search for the birth certificate hoping to force obama out of the presidency. Powell also had scathing things to say about Hillary Clinton. In one email he writes, i would rather not have to vote for her although she is a friend i respect. About the email scandals, she wrote, everything hrc touches she kind of screws up with hubris. Vice president joe bidens wife made a stop in the south bay this afternoon. Biden met with government and Business Leaders in san jose to talk about the obama administrations College Promise in addition at this time. Biden is chairwoman of that program to make the first two years of Community College free for responsible students. She was in los angeles this morning for the announcement that Public High School seniors there will get one year of free Community College starting next year. Its all about jobs. And its all about having the best educated workforce in the world. So really it benefits all the corporations and businesses that are here today. Cal fires air attack agreed to let our cameras on board as they fought fires in Northern California. Up next, the one fire that these veteran pilots say stands out to them. Its warming up out there. You noticed it today. Will you most certainly notice as we head into the bay area thursday. New at 5 00 it has been just over a year since one of the most destructive and Deadly Wildfires in california history broke out. By the time it was all over the valley fire burned more than 76,000 acres in lake county and left four people dead. Two pilots from cal fires air attack team made the initial drops on that valley fire. This past weekend those pilots agreed to have our go pro cameras attached to their planes for some unique aerial photography. Lee martinez spent the day with the air attack team and brings us the story you will see only on ktvu. Reporter they can get anywhere in a matter of minutes. If a fire bell goes off right now this second, this interview is over with. Reporter they need to move fast because this fire likely wont slow down without them. Fire attack bases are strategically located so we can have airplanes over any fire in 20 minutes or less. Reporter cal fires air attack team doesnt fight fires. Our goal is to stop the spread, buying time for the guys on the ground so they can access the fire and actually put it out. Reporter they have enough fire retardant on base, 50,000 gallons, ready to go when they do. Theres some of the retardant right there dripping on my boots and on the ground. Reporter inside the tower, the base manager is also on the move. When we get a dispatch for aircraft it will come over on this radio here, and then i come over here and enter all that into this program. Reporter sending in tracking aircraft. It goes from 0 to 110 sometimes. Reporter pilots are flying out of the Sonoma Air Attack base at least three times a day. They say they are attacking fires that many of us never know about. We respond to so many fires that the news media, whether its your television, whether its radio, whether its newspapers, never, ever hear about. Last year this base responded to over 500 fires. Reporter but one fire stands out as the worst. Valley fire. That was extreme fire behavior. In 20 years i have never seen that. I have never seen a fire move with such for ferocity. Reporter in the air the pilots look at the fire as a man and plan their air drops to box the man in. Nobody needs to tell you good job, bad job. You know what you did. Reporter in the air theyre doing a lot to stop what is usually started by people on the ground. In santa rosa, lee martinez, ktvu fox 2 news. Lets talk more about this now with chief meteorologist bill martin. That was interesting seeing those pictures. What are the fire conditions like right now . Well, you know, with the cooler temperatures, or lower temperatures, and the snow that we had up in the mountains just yesterday, the fire danger is not as high as it typically is this time of year. But, listen, until it starts raining at the end of october, november, were in high fire danger. Im not seeing any big offshore wind events. Thats usual our cue to be very concerned with red flag warnings. But weve got a ways to go. Late october, middle october, early november, thats all kind of prime fire zone. The days are shorter. Not so much for that, but because youve just got such dry fuels. We havent seen any rain since really at least a month or two in most areas. This is interesting here. This weather system that brought the snow up to lake tahoe and the snow near Salt Lake City and denver, its snowing to beat the band in some of these places. As this system, this is to give you an idea how powerful, look at the size of the. As it moves, Severe Weather is going to erupt out here in the oklahoma area, northern texas, into out in towards missouri. Some very powerful weather tomorrow. If you have travel plans to the nationed midsection there is going to be some issues. Even chicago. As that system that brought the snow now moves off, i talked about it last night, as it moves east, it becomes an issue for travelers. So the fog is offshore right now. The current temperatures are a bit warmer than they were yesterday by a couple of degrees. The high temperatures tomorrow will come back up. The fog satisfying rough time forming but tomorrow morning it is on its way back. And there it is. A good dose of it. You see it in oakland and san ma day o. It burns back. Now look at the yellows. You are starting to sign land concord, livermore, napa, pretty much all in the 80s. And tomorrow i suspect mid80s a real possibility. And as we go further down the road we are going to see these reds. 90s start to creep this way towards the west, which will in turn increase the fire danger a lot because we have been pretty cool for a few days. The story then is for warming trend. This warming trend started yesterday and continued today with this High Pressure and will continue into the bay area weekend. So air quality gets sketchy, fire danger comes up. Meantime a gradual warming trend. When i come back well give forecast highs for as we move into your friday, saturday, and sunday. I will sigh back here after a break. Still to come, the nfl is making a commitment to try to reduce the number of players suffering concussions. Up next, the leagues 100 million plan that nfl commissioner Roger Goodell unveiled today, and the 49ers player who says it is about time. Reporter but the nfl says they plan to spend more money on it. Today commissioner Roger Goodell committed 100 million toward medical research and improving technology saying, quote, we can and will do better. The 49ers say it is a mission they support. So i think what the league is saying is that this is an opportunity for us to go out and engage other experts outside of our own world to help us come up with better solutions, better practices for us to do a better job in servicing and protecting our players. Reporter one idea, use new technology to improve the helmet. It is something players say they will have to see to believe. A helmet is a helmet. Youve got an air bladder in there, and its supposed to protect your head i guess. Reporter still players point to last weeks panthers game as an example. They say quarterback cam newton took unfair hits to the head and the concussion protocol was never implemented. Nobody did a thing. Thats scary. Reporter while players say they know the risks theyre hopeful this money might make a difference. We take that risk but there still is a chance where we can mitigate those risks by doing that research and trying to find a safer way to put us on the field. They talk a lot about player say. Theyre finally putting their money where their mouth. Well see what comes of it. Reporter goodell says he understands there may be some skepticism so the league plans to have an independent Scientific Advisory board on hand to help with the initiative. Frank. And Helmet Technology has changed dramatically over the years but now they are planning on spending millions of dollars to look and see if they can make the helmets even safer . Reporter thats right. So theyre talking about everything from the helmets to extra padding under the turf, as one of the 49ers executives put it, the idea that were in silicon valley, there are always advancements being made. They were both in the super bowl last year. Joe fonzi joins us now. Cant we just enjoy this for another week before we have to decide what to take from week one . The nfls week two begins with both bay area teams undefeated and their fans looking for a further measure of what kind of identity their team will take on. Blaine gabbert wasnt spectacular in their win over the rams but did he not get sacked or throw an interception. The 49ers trip to charlotte has significance to gabbert for at least a couple of reasons. Gabbert was a first round draft pick in2011. It was in charlotte that gabbert took his first nfl snap as a member of the jacksonville jaguars. In 2011 it was actually they had like a Tropical Storm that game, and it was wild. They had like hurricane weather and the water was overflowing that top bowl. I just remember daryl smith carrying he carried josh scobe out of the tunnel at halftime. It was wild. Raiders fans are basking in the decision to go for the two point conversion that gave them a win over the saints. The bad news for the raiders that their defense allowed 507 yards of offense. But how about this for a debut . In his first nfl carry undrafted free agent rashard took off on an electrifying touchdown run. The thirdyear quarterback is happy about the ability to spread the ball around. I dont care if that was the last touchdown i throw. If we can win the game i could care less. My job is to help put us in the right situations and win. Thats it. So having those three, its like, man, we could throw them all out there at once and run the wing t. Having that is so good for this team. No matter what the situation, if you can run the ball it is always g. The 49ers are at carolina this weekend. The raiders play the falcons. By sunday night well know a little bet where to take from week one. I think back to last year when jim was the new head coach. They came out smoking against the minnesota vikings. We were all saying maybe there is something to this team. Then they went on the road, and reality settled in. The raiders had such High Expectations to begin the season last year. It was the cincinnati bengals, and now it looks like theyre going in the right direction. They lived up to things on sunday but now the question for them that big yardage day that they gave up was the worst in the entire nfl. 507 yards, thats a lot. Yes. So they have to get better in that regard. The good thing sue hear rashard talking about team, and not just about i, i, i, so that is a good thing. Absolutely. If you can build the depth, those backs you can bring in, the deep receiving corps, good teams are built on that structure. Kind of funny seeing blaine gabbert. I had to remind myself, oh, hes the starting quarterback. Yes, he is. Colin was in for three mopcup snaps monday night. Thank you, joe. You see all those pictures and think, i hope we get some rain this fall and over the winter, but we did get a little snow in the sierras. We did. That weather system sun usual. Well, not unusual, but maybe three or four weeks early for that type of. It did bring show to parts of lake tahoe. A lot of weather going on. The first thing we look at is Tropical Storm julia out towards the carolinas. Along the coastline that coast you have basically flood watches as this thing is not listen, its usually going to fall apart. This thing is going to sit out there potentially into friday and saturday which could redevelop. The water is very warm. It could redevelop into a stronger storm. The forecasters are worried because its movement is really supposed to just stay stationary which could be catastrophic. As you look at the nationed midsection here is our old system, the system that we were referencing that brought snow into our mountains this system tapping into air that is going to create Severe Weather in the plains states tomorrow. So chicago, south of dallas, you could see some flight delays certainly as powerful weather erupts in the afternoon. Right now unSan Francisco it is 68 degrees. It is well, let me go back. Its 64 right now in San Francisco. It is 77 in san jose. In San Francisco with a very light wind right now, were looking at temperatures tomorrow that are going to be a little bit warmer. So the highs tomorrow, 87 in fairfield, 8 invacaville. So were getting close to 90. Remember back yesterday, the day before, when temperatures were in the 60s . It was very cool when we had that little snow event and the strong winds. Now were starting to come back into what we would expect for this time of year. 86 in livermore. That will also bring fire danger up a little bit. It will also put a hit on air quality. 84 morgan hill. These are the forecast highs for your bay area thursday. Fridays temperatures are going to come up a little bit more. And you will see that in the fiveday forecast right here. Tomorrow 87. Lucy friday you get back into the low 90s. And saturday and sunday and monday the warm spots are touching on 95. So this time of year, with this type of heat, even around the bay, the fire danger is going to ratchet up a little bit. Were not seeing offshore winds but we are really in the heart of fire season. So lets watch ourselves in this period. A threeday extended run of some very warm weather in the inland bay valleys. When you get into september, late september, 9 3, 95 degrees, thats very warm. So we will keep an eye on it. Not a high, high fire danger, but we are just with four or five years of below average rainfall, it is important. We have some friends in town. They went into San Francisco yesterday. s always nice to hear them talk about, oh, the weather is spectacular. Then you see whats going on in other parts of the country. The carolinas with that Tropical Storm, and our old storm. Listen, with Climate Change and the warmer atmosphere, theres more water in the atmosphere, and scientists are concluding that the storms, even though theres not more, when they do happen, theyre producing more rain. The issue is going to be who is going to pay for the boxes being out, storing the boxes, and the chassis that theyre on, because we cannot return the empties back. Reporter here is what is crazy.
